If you remember all the things our villain has been up to, delving through the elven books back in Lord Guren's library, and again through the hidden books in the ruins of the elven city, what he was looking for was some method to have the spell transferred to himself. The problem is, this is a spell that Dustan Guren invented himself, so there's not much written on it. He was hoping to buddy up to Agneris and some answers from him, but that plan didn't work out so well…
