This page brings us to the end of the chapter and the fair (and, coincidentally, this month ;-) ). That's a water bottle that Kaida is holding in the first panel. Seiko brings a small medical kit with her any time she travels. It's a bit more complete than the one my mom brings on trips – which contains only gauze, band-aids, and wet-wipes.

We'll be returning to the city Monday. The vacation is over, I'm afraid.

ghostrunner: Kaida's "supervisor/handler" was Raidon. Not sure he was ever particularly sympathetic – at least not to all of his underlings. (I can't say anything about Raidon's boss, though.)

amanda: Thanks. I had never drawn any before this project. One of the first things I did was sketch a variety of handguns and knives. I find them really easy. (Even my first one looked pretty good.)

Peipei: That's true, and she is also very much reformed.

n_y_japlander: You're right. It wasn't a forgiving career, and she never got much say. (Not that a murdered man's family would be particularly understanding.)

JustNoPoint: Keep in mind that this was along the lines of "hot-blooded" murder. She cooled down, so wasn't really homicidal. Emotion-driven violence doesn't require "talking out" just calming down. (Kaida's talk was an explanation/apology, not "Don't hurt me.")
