Bad title. :-/ Oh well. The color scheme is sort of blah, too. I had trouble coloring the cat. (It *looks* like a calico, but it's just supposed to be dirty.)

After a night in a hotel (without Yuki – remember that Brad was her friend long before any of them), everyone is changed and returning. I actually wanted to draw a scene of their stay at the hotel, but it was unnecessary for plot and would've just been dressing wounds and awkwardness. Keep in mind that it is summer time in the story. Seiko's attire is for hiding her scar.

ghostrunner: No burn worries. Yuki has melanin! (And Kaida uses SPF 50.)

patrick: My granddad (a doctor) used to stitch up his kids at home. In any case, Kaida is fairly stoic, and her chest probably hurts more than her face.

Peipei: Yuki hadn't watched fireworks in a long time, so it was nice to have the comforting touch of a friend.

amanda: Technically, it's Seiko's hat, but yeah he was asleep – or pretending to sleep. It's a good way to avoid conversation. ;-) Everywhere I've had stitches still have scars. (None on my face, though.)
