Hello folks!

Maybe you remember carly_mizzou, creator of Creepy Carly and part of the team at Platinum who put together the DrunkDuck booths at Wizard World and other events?

(Guess which one she is)

Well she is back and hard at work with Wowio now, which means with DrunkDuck, WeVolt, etc., and she is in charge of community events/ meetups/ cons and things like that! (For example, you may have seen her on the WowioTV footage of the SDCC get-together at the Tipsy Crow!)

Anyway, the first Meetup has been announced, and if you are local to the Los Angeles area, you should probably go! If you have any questions or whatever, you can post them here, and Carly will be able to respond!

YAAAY! Thanks Skool and Oz, you guys make me feel like such a rockstar. yup, i'm back and super excited. Planning a lot of things for y'all. The Stand is a SUPER cool place that me and my hommies hang out at and they were cool enough to let us throw a party. Now we just have to decide what movie to show! Any suggestions? I'm hopelessly in love with Dawn of the Dead, but feel free to throw in suggestions!

Tips for the event
DO:
Bring stuff to promote your comic, sketch materials, your party hat, a love for a hot dog called the trailer park, let us know if you think you'll make it

DON'T:
hate on zombies, be a sour puss, complain about the weather, pass up $2 Stand Amber Ales

Oh and Bonus! Peeps that attend the event get a first head's up on another GREAT event I'm planning. Wanna hint? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to take over one of LA's TOP comic book stores?
