DD Comics!
hi! New reader of DD comics^^
Spells in some Final Fantasy games are in a tier system based on their power. The tier the spell is on is shown by a suffix at the end of it.
A spell with no suffix is the lowest rank.
A spell with "Ra" or just "A" at the end of it is the second rank.
A spell with "Ga" or "Aga" at the end is the highest rank in most games.
Some games have the "Ja" or "Aja" rank, though these spells are often unavailable to players.
So the progression of a fire spell would be Fire<Fira<Firaga<(Sometimes)Firaja
Therefore, if I cast "Hugaga" on you, I am casting a higher level of the spell "Hug", as shown here:
Hug<Hugara<Hugaga<(Possibly)Hugaja

Hi. It's interesting to know that there's more than one person out there who learned English mainly through television other than me (Fox Kids… ah, youth!).
… Then again, the bilingual Spanish-English kindergarten might have had something to do with it, too… Though I learned English before Spanish. Curse you, Spanish alphabet! Why did you force me to learn "Ch", "Ll" and "Ñ!?" Whyyy?!
… And that's it for my greeting. Now back to eating McDonald's and making "nom nom nom" noises.
