I'll never date another person I also know on the internet. One person has ruined it for everyone. This is why people can't have nice things.

I think my wife would be against me dating anyone from the Duck, but I have made some decent friends here.

I think MOST wives would be against any dating of any kind, Komrade. Even mine. Geez, man.

Which brings me to…

I'm trying to meet the sweet guy who started this thread XD.
But I think he's too shy or too busy to meet a gal for Johnny Rocket's!

I am a bit shy and I am a pretty busy person with the school year on the horizon - but since we're talking Johnny Rocket's down the street from my job, then you're on! See you in the Valley sometime.

Dutch :).

worstcase and SeriousQuiche: lol, that's awesome. If my sister ever found me here, she'd probably stalk me and never admit it's her. ._.

It keeps us in touch. I am away at college and she is in hell…I mean high school, so we get to confirm the other is alive through DD.

Considering there're several thousand, that'd pose… difficulties. :)
There are only 24 hours in a day and 7 days in a week :(

I wonder how many here haven't met a few cuties here?
Its the travel time that gets you
So very, very true :(

Oh Skool, you know you want us ;)

Actually, yeah, truth be told I'm not really interested in that aspect here these days.

Yes but it seems people still find love (Or groceries a la AQua_ng or an STD a la Midge) in the most interesting places. Drunk Duck seems to be no different. It is the 21st Century and people are finding love on the Internet all the time. Although I am sorry about what happened to skoolmunkee. How horrible.

A community this big, I know there are some other couples or good friends out there - siblings? That's cool too.

Best Internet friend? Really????? WOW.

I doubt that I will ever meet Ms. Right. Unless she sneaks up behind and clubs me to knock me out, then drag me off to her lair…

Doesn't matter anyway. I'm way too old for many of the women here anyway (was born in 1971).

You'd think so… But actually the average ages of the DD user base is generally a bit older than people assume.

You were much nicer to this guy than I would have been, blntmaker *rolls her eyes*.

I live three miles away from that one! You're on, Mister Man XD!

I've met a few people I talk to on MSN through here, so I've made a few friends. Would like to meet more though.

As for lovers, I met my girlfriend through onlinecomics.net and we were going to do a comic here before we got together. Does that count?

I have made many good friends through Drunk Duck. And with Off Hours being a DD community comic, we who have been developing it together have become a community of friends within this community of friends. I have friends from all over the U.S. and many nations around the world – just from DD.

I realize that's the nature of the internet but I never connected with anyone besides smkinoshita (Super Temps) at Keenspot/Comic Genesis, so this is a tremendous improvement!

I have known people who met and got married over the internet and are still together, so I don't knock it. I just happened to be blessed to meet my soulmate in person here in my hometown, through a mutual friend.

Friends make all the difference, regardless of whether you meet them online or offline. B)

I haven't made many lifelong friends so much as "friendly acquaintances". People I'd invite to a party, but not ask to help me move. :)

But ooooo… I've definitely made enemies. That's a different thread, I guess. lol!

I'd help you move if you provide a proper truck with a ramp and none of that pickup truck nonsense. And provide the drinks.

See?? The demands start already. If you were a true friend it wouldn't matter if I had a wheelbarrow and a can of diet Coke. lol!

I freaking hope so!

You say that now, but try escorting the unicorn out of your house…
they get really testy.

Nah, a true friend brings his own moving truck along with movers and then sits with you on the porch while they move everything.
