I personally think we should lynch mooglessaykupo. bloody blood.
I know we are running out of time.
I'm working on clues right now and should have something shortly
I suggest we lynch 2 people
My votes will go toward Waff (first choice) and Sea_Cow (second choice)
OK, here's my reasoning for waff- this is the short and sweet version because we're running out of time.
I believe waff is the ripper. (sorry if you're not, dude, but it looks pretty bad for you)
He's been friendly to everyone- but to try to kill them, in the clue, there was "et tu"- a betrayal- which could not have meant the assassin, because the assassin leaves no clues. If et tu is a clue, it points to the Ripper despite the context. Edit: I have a more specific reason why this has weight, but it involves knowing some people's roles.
In the clue, it talks about being down on one's luck. Who is more down on their luck than a hobo- Waff's in-character persona? The second killing was in a park. Hobos live in parks- could be a reference.
Waff talks about food a LOT in the early part of the thread (first 10 pages or so). He makes food for people, there's talk of food running out, etc- this connects to the fridge, in my view, and possibly the popcorn too.
Sleeping talk also surrounds Waff in the early parts of the thread. There's a sleepover in his box. He's said specifically "going to bed" and "I'll answer that when I wake up later…goodnight"
It's been brought up before, but there was in-thread talk early on about Waff having a catapult. Does this match with the throwing swords?
Waff has on a couple occasions used old-fashioned language. Most notably he says "I need you to reply to them post-haste"
FWIIIIING FWIIIIING sounded like anime sword sound effects to me. Waff posted a picture of him piloting a stickman piloting a cardboard box mecha- mechas feature in anime. Hm, connection?
Also regarding the picture, there's a stickman - stick - clues about sticking in the fridge, a sticky situation, etc.
There are one or two other people who seem to match the clues on one or two very small points, but no one matches them to the degree that waff does.
Sea_Cow is easy. There's an attempt where the person is totally silent. According to humorman's rules, that means the clue points at someone who hasn't said anything in this thread. The only people up to the results posting that hadn't said anything are Sea_Cow and mooglessaykupo. I looked at the sign up thread and saw (right under the avatar) that mooglesaykupo hasn't been logged into the site since the 12th. He can't have done anything. Seen: 2-12-2009 That leaves Sea-Cow.
The Great Mafia Comic Colorithon Update:
Ok. Like I said before, this comic will hit 50 pages in a bit over a week. Since that is a milestone. I want to get as many pages colored as I can. Currently I'm working on "Finally" (Ody's death last game) and Ody is working on "My Turn" (the next page) Anyone can participate to help color the comic and make it look purty. Just steal my drafts and froof them up. The few that already have some color, I have the .psd file for it if anyone needs it. Please let me know if you want to help with the coloring. I'm going to keep working hard on it.
Just to let everyone know, in the event more than one person is set to be lynched, everyone can still only vote for one person. This is so no one is left with an hour to decide once the mayor chooses the set amount.
By the way, the mayor has roughly 90 minutes left to choose the amount of people to lynch. Otherwise, it will be set to one by default.
Suddenly I'm getting a ton of PQs, haha :] Either I'm doing something right or something wrong!
Let me just say that I'm not as certain about waff as I was about leaderofstars- leaderofstars' clues matched perfectly, waff's match okay but there's a lot of them, and no one else matches so well. If someone isn't sure about waff, then maybe vote for sea_cow- I'm more sure about that one, but the ripper is a bigger threat.
csi and law and order time!
Edit: just found out, no matter how many lynches, only one vote
**Reaches out of the ground and pulls himself up**
It's so much more fun to watch everyone scramble now that I know who the dangerous people really are!
**Gets head shot off and dies again**
Zombie Lucius Fox out.
EDIT: BTW skool, the milestone doesn't say I was the Godfather! Who shot himself…
Attention
It seems that Ochitsukanai, the mayor, would like to cast a vote, but is unable to do so personally. Seeing how she can play a pivotal role at this point in the game, I am going to offer two options for today's vote.
Option 1:
Two of the players have PQed concerning a mayor-by-proxy situation where Ochitsukanai may have given her vote to another player to submit. One player was in favor of this, while another was against it. I will extend voting to 8pm PST. If I get enough requests from players (7) by that time, I will take this vote and the night will begin at 9pm PST tonight. Otherwise, I go with option 2.
Option 2:
I extend today to 5pm PST tomorrow and Ochitsukanai can deliver her vote personally.
Seeing as how things have developed very late today, I think extending things one more day would be a wiser choice. I don't know how many votes are already in, but having more time rather than rushing things sounds like a good idea.
It's definitely in the town's favor to have more time to look at clues and be sure about votes. It's in the mafia's favor (and any crazy untrustworthy random's favor) to try and keep things on schedule. Since there are more townspeople than mafia….
