The clock for DD runs on Central standard time. That means from the night one begining, he would have had only 6 hours to put in a kill.

It is still possible, but we must take stuff like this into consideration. We also know that he was posting here until 7pm that night.

But, this can also be deceptive because he knows FGM IRL. That means he could have just called him.

It is something to think about.

I know looking at when the last time a person logged on has helped in the past.

Another thing to consider is the fact that he could have done what I did and post the hit as soon as TFGM said it was night.

Correct. I'm just putting up all the information I can. I just don't want to see an innocent swing if it can be avoided. And he is not on right now to defend himself, so I'm trying to make sure he has equal representation. It is either him or Hakoshen.

When I ran games, the mafia rarely posted first thing cause of my system. But I have played with Inuyasha as a teammate and he wasn't the type to hit first thing without reason.

But, like I said, there are several different explanations to activity, I'm just posting up different stuff.

Once, a member was accused of being guilty of something, but we checked the last seen date and the person had signed up for mafia and disappeared.

A quick recap…

Night 1 is Over!

There were anime posters on the walls, but that didn’t matter. Nothing mattered but running. A person had started chasing him out of the blue and he doubt it was a friendly medic.

Bocaj looked over his shoulder not seeing the pursuer behind him. As he passed an alley a sword caught the light from a near by neon sign, glowing before cutting Bocaj’s legs off.

“I’m too lazy to be chasing you all across town!” shouted the attacker. “MY LEGS!?!” Bocaj shouted back. “My legs!” The attacker said sarcastically. “Suck it up you cry baby!” he said as he stepped on a nub where one of Bocaj’s legs use to be, this produced a scream of pure pain from Bocaj. “Don’t worry I’ll make this end quick enough”, he said as he raised the sword up above his head and back down though Bocaj’s banana head.

Bocaj the Vigilante is dead.

the2ndredbaron, running in comic
Gullas, lazy
ParkerFarker, banana
D_dude, lazy. sword in comic
Crocty, lazy,
Kitty, lazy, sword in comic, anime
Hakoshen, sword (NOT glowing in the 1st 5 pages)
Salsa, sword, anime, lazy
Avalon_comics, sword,
DarthVader, anime, legs in avie,
Hark, glowy swords,
therealtji, banana
Inu, Anime, glowy sword in Anime but not on page or comic
Aghammer, anime
Pastel, anime,
PP, signage

I didn't see any leg cuttage in the comics. Swords and lazy are very common. In the past the weapon is usually unimportant (gun, knife, sword, axe…kinda limited).

I think the anime clue is key although there are a lot of "anime" people. I think if the person DIDN'T mention anime in some fashion, they are probably not the killer.

the first thing that I noticed is the 'running' in the first paragraph, that could either be a herring or something from somebody's comic.

lazyness and swords seems to be something to looki out for.
So after my brief evaluation, I conclude that our killer is Hakoshen

Dude, see my short summary a couple of posts back. Hakoshen never says anything about being lazy, and swords are all over the damn place in comics. There are people that are lazy, have swords and mention anime. One quick update

DarthVader, anime, legs in avie, Darkvader ->glowy swords (like neon) chopping off body parts.

If running and swords were the main clues, I'd be suspect #1. I Look at all four pages of DB (the one with the icon with glowing red eyes). If you look at pages two through four, you see that the scene in those pages are almost the same as the narrative. Person being chased, person has legs cut out from under them (comic figuratively, narrative literally), assailant comes out of nowhere and someone gets killed with a sword. I honestly think that running is a red herring.
The sword is probably a real clue. I think that the sarcasm is also a clue. Niccea, you have a point about the amount of time he had to post the kill, but I still think Inu is the most likely suspect,

You are on my list :) I agree, almost all of the mafia killings involve running. I'm not sure about the sword. In past mafia games, the actual weapon is rarely a real clue (for example, everyone someone used a knife, I was suspect). I don't see any real clues except anime, point to Inu. Sarcasm in his profile?

From TFGM: Clues are based on Profiles, Avatars, Signatures, comic names, comic icons, and the first five pages of comics.

If we all agree that Inu is the answer I'm with you but I think there are a couple of more likely candidates. Let me know if I missed something.

EDIT: Oh, and I enjoyed your comics, btw :)

Why aren't we hanging the people who actually admitted to being mafia or the serial killer to you? We know they're badguys (and we'll have to kill them eventually), so why go off random clues that could be red herrings when we actually have people who confessed to being bad?

Because. The clue doesn't point to the "confessed mafia" and for all I know it was a prank. Though it does give rights, I'm not going to just hang them for being stupid.

Number two: the serial killer is working for us. I have talked to them and and they have little use for achieving the goal of the serial killer, so they are now our second vigilante.

I find it very interesting that you would want to hang anyone that could be of use to us immediately.

How do we know the serial killer will actually help us, though? If he thinks he could trust you, couldn't he kill someone in the night and then just tell you he didn't do it? There won't be any way to distinguish between his kills and the mafias.

And as for the person who confessed to being mafia, how idiotic would you have to be to go to the captain and say "I'm a mafia", and not expect to get lynched? Unless it was Hark who confessed -_-. Then I understand.

Well, if it's based on avatars, Inu's avi happens to be an anime character that has a glowing sword and has a habit of being sarcastic. Then anime mentioned in his profile, but…

I personally, don't think anime is a clue. It's too consistent among people for it to be considered reliable and the fact that in the narrative it says "but that didn’t matter" could just as well be TFGM's way of saying it's a red herring.

As for the people voting to lynch Hark, I find it very interesting (suspicious) that some people were so quick to jump on him without any clues to go by.

EDIT: To be honest, the serial killer doesn't have that much of a chance, if the mayor knows who they are. When you know who the killers are, it's a lot easier to pick out the clues that point to them. So if the serial killer does go rogue, there's a very small chance they'll survive the next day. But niccea says they're willing to help and with the actual vigilante already dead, we need all the help we can get.

I intentionally looked for clues to point to the serial killer in the narrative and found none. I don't fully trust them, but leave that to me.

That is true and I agree that anime is very common but so are swords and being lazy.

I COMPLETELY agree about people voting to lynch Hark. I mentioned this before but anyone that is voting to lynch (except Hark, who, we know, is nuts) him should be considered suspect unless they change their vote to someone that might have actually done the deed.

It's not Harkovast and he is far from Lazy (given his update sched)… crazy, yeah, lazy, nope. I'm waiting for one of the mafia to admit being mafia (like the last crazy game) :)

Also, good to hear from you … was afraid you fell off a cliff :)

I'm here. You know who is lazy Harkovast, lynch him!

If anyone wants to bribe me to stop random finger pointing, I'd really like a picture of the Speaker from Harkovast driving the General Lee from Dukes of Hazard.
Any other Harkovast characters you can include in the Dukes of Hazard style would be a bonus.

I've never been lynched in this game.
I like to take that as a vote of confidence from you all.

Also, in a rare moment of lucidity I would say that people who suggest I am the killer without evidence are very suspicious.
We all know I am silly and shout nonsense. Anyone willing to waste a lynch killing someone who is silly but not a suspect has strange, mafia friendly, priorities!

I would suggest Parker Farker and Killerbob should be suspects.
Also Killerbob and TFGM are friends in real life so I bet TFGM gave Killerbob a sweet role this time around! Since the wasn't the vigilante, I think that makes for a bad bob!
