Well…that's according to the Youtube comments…cuz I've never seen it. ^^;
It's about, according to the story synopsis, a policeman who chases down a serial Killer across the world. The twist is, the serial killer is someone he saved the life of when the killer was only a child.
I've seen some of his music before, it's really nifty.
Oh man, this season's season looks aces. For shounen fans, there's Soul Eater, which drips with so much style it's eye-watering. For those into their mecha, there's Macross Frontier and Code GEASS R2 which are truely smashing and well animated. Shoujo fans should watch out for Vampire Knight, which I found interestin and entertaining. And for the comedy side, there's Special A, Kamen no Maid Guy and Kyouran Kazoku Nikki (which needs to be subbed, PRONTO). I also recommend Zettai Karen Children just to hear Hirano Aya's delicious voice.
Hey K.A.L.A., what's your favourite AMV? Personally, I'm not a big fan of AMVs, as they're just Naruto and Linkin Park, but there's some diamonds in the rough.
An AMV shouldn't be confused with a MAD, as MADs are just plain awesome and crazy.
There was this one Gundam AMV, to Rammstein's Feuer Frei. Let's see if I can find it.
Also, Caramedansen just started playing on Kawaii Radio. It's not the speedy remix version. I felt like I was listening to a walkman with half empty batteries.
Oh hey, first result was the right one:
Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz to Rammstein - Feuer Frei.
An Anime music video (AMV) is typically defined as a fan-made video using Japanese animation, set to an audio source (typically a song). That same definition applies to many MADs. As stated earlier though, MADs consist of much more than this. There are audio and image MADs, and even MADs that are unrelated to anime.
The main difference between AMVs and MADs though, is the fact that MADs are more like parodies. Instead of clips from anime series, MAD videos use similar effects found in opening or ending sequences of anime. Those effects tend to be synchronized with the music. Furthermore, MADs do not necessarily have to be anime related, where as AMVs are implied to require anime.
Currently, MADs have been originating from Japanese sources. The MAD community designates itself to be in Japanese exclusive only. This may implies that anime based music video of non-Japanese origin are deemed as non-MADs. This of course varies since some people also categorise them as MADs as long as they are in japanese language.
