So far I've dodged the twitter bullet. And if it means hiding under a rock for the rest of my life, I will continute to dodge that bullet. I just can't handle one more networking site. Facebook is about my limit.

People flood my wall with meaningless drivel. It's bad enough that I have a bazillion game requests every time I log on without having to wade through the millions of meaningless posts to find the one update about someone's life.

Begrudgingly I concede that it does help me keep in contact with people, so I continue to use it. But I absolutely draw the line with Twitter.

Havent abandoned the site. Just havent been online a lot.
If you dont believe me check my post count on comic fury. Theres been like 10 posts since I joined.
My asshole tutor failed me even though my work has been adequate and the criteria has been covered. The quality was good and I was the only one to fail. He hates me and the feelings mutual. Now I have to redo the work. He even threw out my graphite piece. >:l

Ugh… lately I've been having nightmares. Often after I fall asleep after reading something interesting. Not sure what's causing them, but they give me headaches when I wake up. O_O

@Aurora Borealis: for some reason, that strikes me as one of the most hilarious rant posts Ever

@same: nice to see you around. Sorry to read about another episode of jackasses wielding grades — why hasn't there been a comic yet about the evil professor who travels through time and cultures, thwarting the pathways of the talented?

So babysitting my nephews (ages 3 and 1) was less than 48 hours this time. My sister delivered a girl at 6:40 this morning, making the grandkid count for my parents: 5 grandsons and now 2 granddaughters. but who's counting?

New Site Launch Date
Last week we thought we could finish everything, (bug fixes and custom layout controls), and be ready to launch. We looked at all that still needed to be done, and all of the issues you all kept bringing up and quickly realized that was not gonna happen. Like I have said in previous posts and in QuackCast shows, we will launch the new site when it is ready.

Finally got the chance to see Thor today! I've been super excited for it to come out for ages and ages, and then when it finally did I was too busy with exams and work to see it.
I loved it. I thought Thor and Loki were perfect, and kinda liked how they took the storylines right from the comics.
But to be honest, all they had to do for me to enjoy that movie was have the Thor guy take his shirt off. Oh boy. : P

Heh… I need to stop watching game videos of the Parodius video game series. I swear… When I'm done watching I'm left with two questions… What in the heck were the game producers/developers high on… and where can I get some? Both that game series and Dr. Ashen's reviews of cheap junk have given me more entertainment than my TV. And I find it odd that when it comes to watching TV/Movies my sis and I are different… I like watching the same show/movie over and over again for a while. My sis on the other hand can't stand watching the show more than once and as a result she's got quite a collection of movies…

*notices someone with their mouth completely wrapped around the back of his head, "nomming" him…*

My brother is an absolute jerk. He likes to pretend that he's better than me because he's the eldest, and still treats me like I'm 12. He was in a bad mood yesterday, as per usual, and took it out on me, as per usual. He was driving me to dad's place, and being in the bad mood that he was, he was speeding, swearing (yelling things like: "Fucking Cunt!" at other drivers), and nearly killed us twice by doing stupid things on the road. We get to dads, and he screams at me: "Hurry the fuck up!" and "Get your fucking stuff!"

Ugh, fuck I hate my brother.

Note to all older brothers there with younger siblings, treat us well or we'll tell mum, and then shit will hit the proverbial fan!

——–

Saymoi, can we trade granparents? Seriously, your grandpa is the bomb! :D

——-

Sat at dads and drew 4 and a half comic strips to colour for this week. I seriously regret starting the story arc that I did, because it has become very unfunny, very very fast. I've resorted to boob jokes and slap stick.

If I could I'd probably lecture him myself. I'm the eldest brother of my siblings, but I never act like that towards them. I bet you can't wait 'til you can drive on your own. Maybe there's something that's eating away at him, hence his attitude?

Now… off to find a crowbar…

You'd think there was a reason, but he's just an angry dick most of the time. Apparently he's always been like that, even as a kid. Mum likes to say he's "Depressed", though he's not diagnosed or anything. Treats my other sister the same, but she's moved out so she doesn't have to deal with him. And yeah, I cannot WAIT until I can drive myself, then I can be all: "Screw you Tom, I'm going home!"

Sounds like how I've been the last few days, really assholishly cranky. Guessing it's because I'm ill, but damn I'm snappy. Feeling stressed and depressed at the same time but have no reason to be feeling like that. Spending as little time with the kids as possible, they don't deserve that. Normally I'm really placid but every little thing makes me explode right now.

I'm always embarrassed drawing naked people. Particularly when I don't have a reference and need to do it for a project and I'm like: "To search 'life drawing model' on google images, or not to search on google images…"

and holy shit, I missed my year anniversery of being a DrunkDucker. Aw bro, the sadness!

It's been officially about two months since I did any proper comics (too lazy to look up the actual dates and also worried it might be more than that, heh).
All because of a stupid plastic nib needed for the tablet pen. To think that such a little thing can ruin such a great start that I had this year.

Oh well, maybe the job search will finally pay off and I'll be able to bounce off and not only buy the nibs but also upgrade the pc.

FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU….they just made the requirements for pararescue harder. Looks like i have to increase my workouts….good thing i have a year. but if they give me another year, then they'll tighten
the requirements…FFFFFFUUUUUUUU. whatever:

2x25m Underwater Pass/Fail (3 min intervals) 10 Minutes
500 Meter swim <10’07” 30 Minutes
1.5 MILE Run <9’47” 10 Minutes
10 Pull-ups 1 Minute 3 Minutes
54 Sit-ups 2 Minutes 3 Minutes
52 Push-ups 2 Minutes 3 Minutes

@seventy2:
I saw your post here about becoming a PJ, & I just had to ask you if you were at Lackland, since I'm the designer for the base paper, the Talespinner, so I know all about the requirements from past articles.

Naw, i'm up at offutt, trying to crosstrain. They keep finding silly excuses not to let me go. I just found out about the new requirements on friday. (i think literally right before i made the post.)

I've been trying to get at this a couple years, and i've passed the previous versions, but everytime i'm really close they just up the standards. Just gotta work a little harder is all.

Yessssss. My script won the contest and Ayes is finally accepting voice tryouts for this year's radio play. I also provided cover art for the project. Now I'm going to try out for a part in the play so that my evil takeover will be complete.

Mwa ha ha ha!

I've had two jobs so far that have required an initial physical exam and continual physical checkups. The first was a sniper position in a gaurd tower at a local prison. We also had to pass bi-yearly psychological screening. That was a very high stress job and now that I'm out of it, I'd never go back.

The second job that's required physical fitness is "stay at home mom". The kids I chase around all day, yeesh…

I need to have my brain examined one day. I keep thinking of the wierdest things at work. I guess those 8 hours I spend alone in the dark illuminated only by the streetlights is taking its toll on me too…

New superhero idea! Cute Man! His power? Being… Cute!!! So cute in fact that criminals who gaze upon him will simply drop what they're doing and run to the nearest policeman to have themselves arrested. And to combat those who are immune to cuteness he has a sidekick… Miss MANLY!!!

Maybe the little guy in this video has the right idea…

Youtube Video: Let's Play Vinnie Vole's Existential Nightmare

Then again, I'm not THAT crazy… yet…
