Very interesting character designs here. I'm also digging the fonts at the top, reminds me of something from the 90s. :D

Ryu's Krew updates today. With…the important question! :o

Posted at

Temple… The red blood in a black and white reminded me of Schindler s List. Quite pretty, but I gotta read a lot to catch up and figure out what is going on…LOL I think it is worth taking a look, even if you got a 52k connection and will wait for a while.

This time I return to this thread after a long time to show you one of the reasons I was absent. I got a new comic, called White Versus Gray. It is about UFOs, degenerate military from a small country in the Pacific, conspiracy theories and little evil gray men… It will have some sort of crossover with Freakenburg at some time, but it is not gonna be soon.

Gotta go face a few hours of slow comic reading due to my screwed up 52k [not 56, 52] crap…LOL. See ya.

It's interesting to see the perspective lines and such still in the drawings with White Versus Gray ^.^ I like how you're doing the hand-drawn speech bubbles - with this particular comic, anything you're doing digitally is going to look really out of place (fonts and narration boxes) - just a heads up. Otherwise, this is off to a very nice start!

@Doctor Shadow: I'm a sucker for good black&white comics, and that's some nice shading you got there! No idea what's going on in the story, I'll have to give it a read sometime.

There is a lot of seriously strange goings on in Monkeyshine, but it seems like these new characters are going to shed some light on things (though I doubt we will ever get an explanation for what happened to Joels hair!)
And my answer in the contest was 17 *crosses fingers because I like fan art!*

In Harkovast, the Frost Berseker continues to hurl our heroes around like rag dolls….

Harkovast: Your wife is a beast at coloring. For serious, man. Amazing. I also love the Frost Berserker. He's very awesome looking. Keep up the amazing work. I still gotta catch up with it! D:

Ryu's Crew: Beautiful tones - the artwork is very dramatic with the deep shading but its balanced out by the brighter areas. The limited red is very effective, too. Great character and setting designs.

Negligence: I really like the art style used here. It is really cute. Also, Drannik can fly :D

George the Dragon updated today with a new agriculture idea…

Oh, wow… In Asshole, we got all the ingredients for a twisted, evil Mastercard commercial. LOL. I am afraid of the waiter, I swear I saw a guy like him earlier today…

Well, gotta tell you that Freakenburg and White Versus Gray were updated.

In Freakenburg, Kasumi tells one of those awful truths about life, while Mariko disagrees…

In White Versus Gray, a naked chick and an introduction to our heroes as the duty calls… Definitively offensive, LOL… Oh, it is a double update.

Gotta go, see ya

Okay, I've updated my comics a lot lately, so what can I say about them… The latest A* is a series of panning shots, kind of, with (what will eventually be) zooming out and back in, so hopefully that comes across in the non-animated daily comics a little. The latest Princess has what I think is my most "realistic" try at the Princess' face, and I think her eye came out decently, except maybe for the freakishly high eyebrow!

freakenburger:

Freakenburg: the nap *was* a little boring :D but your logo, while utilizing an overused joke, is still freakin' awesome

White Versus Gray: the hats! Oh god, the hats are amazing!

The Princess and the Giant: Excellent contrast in character designs between the crews of the two ships.

Supermassive Black Hole A*: Excellent use of white on black. Kind of remeniscent of Frank Miller's art style. The story looks like it's about to get interesting very soon.

All Saints has just updated. And in this week's page, we see that Deimos's hallucinations aren't just limited to visions…

All Saints looks like a neat comic. I like the artwork and writing, but the thing that first struck me was how cool the speech bubbles are. Keep it up!
