"That's Comical" does a play on cell division. LOL! It took me a minute but I like the diverse thematic stuff pulled off for humor in this strip.

How old are the kids in Negligence again?
Seeing they lighting up is depressing!

Harkovast: An ambush at the start of the chapter, quite a nice way to start it and even though you have no chat bubbles it seems to blend well with your page.

Quest: As I've said before, one of the better WoW related comics on the web. And what better way to celebrate Birthday #1 with cake that's not a lie, c'mon you expected that right? RIGHT?

The Chronicles of Wyrden updates today and it seems that the game is most definitely afoot!

The Chronicles of Wyrden has another good post today.

It seems that the person they are searching for is going to be a tough guy to catch…he seems either strong willed or dangerous…or both :S

That's Comical

I have an early comic which I designed differently than my previous comics. I was excited about this comic when I first made it. I'm not sure if everyone understood how to read it at the time, you kind of have to do a zig zag thing…anyways, let me know what you think!

"That's Comical", either I have to stop updating my own comic as much as you do or you'll just have to live with me always ending up critiquing yours. LOL! :D

It didn't take me long to understand the flow of action, and it was pretty darn funny. :D

Pagan Zeotrope: wonderful symbolic/metaphoric representation of fear….

In the CROSSOVERLORD—wow. Dan/The Red Death of BAD GUY HIGH delivers a cover for our final chapter that strongly reminds me of George Perez' layouts, his huge crowd scenes. Check the awesomeness out at http://www.drunkduck.com/Crossoverlord/index.php?p=664378

Electronic Revolutions The Burnhams: I'm trying to figure out what's going on here. It looks like something Bane from Batman would do before he starts breaking spines.

Negligence: No more time wasting (or bad habits) as the kids prepare to take the stage, but one more thing interrupts their concert experience.

Good job Pyren, I thought that guy was evil when I first saw him.

That's Comical

TC is almost turning 100! I think I'm at 80 or so posts. I'll reach 100 in the next few weeks!

Hope you enjoy today's comic. I'll see you guys again tomorrow!

@Pagan Zoetrope - I like the dramatic "fading" effect as well as the fetus imagery on the previous page. Also checked the last few pages. Looks ok. I'll read the thing later when I got time.

Oooooo, some tension in Mag this post. I like the first panel depicting pain and anguish.

Good Job!

That's COmical

If you have ever worked your way through some bureaucratic system (like schools, loans, banks, taxes, etc…) you might find something to relate to in today's TC post.

This is one of my personal fave comics since it hits so close to home :(

That's Comical: I truly do understand all the red tape. This page is quite true to life. Besides the obvious lack of sentient geometric shapes :)

George the Dragon updated today (one day late due to unforeseen circumstances.) Today we take a very famous work of American art and well….insert the Loch Ness monster :)

Oh, but she's cute. Look at her soft dragony skin and her fluffy dragony hair! Your art style is great for parodies. The art looks great, the textured details on the side really make it pop. :)

Tricky, I just started reading All Saits from the beginning, so forgive me when I tell you I did not look at this most recent post. I don't want any spoilers!

I have to say though, from the intro, this strip is pretty good. There are bad-ass characters, strange alien/monster race, and much tension and suspense.

I'm enjoying it! If you are into story comics (especially post apocalyptic ones) give All Saints a look!

@ That's Comical - I understand your warning ("don't hate me" ) prefaced in this comic. Wow! I feel bad laughing at it… o_0

The art's steady improving, though, I have to say!

Off Hours updated today! The Off Hours 4 are re-grouping and setting out to make camp for the night. There's just one no-longer-small matter slowing them down…and I don't mean Stephanie! lol!

Art by Artdude2002 from Danielle Dark. Script by me, Allen from Due East.

Off Hours: Since I haven't followed this comic all that much, I'll offer a little critique on the art. I like the backgrounds for panels 3 and 5, as it shows a pretty well done hill and dirt path. The coloring isn't too bad, in that it's simple but it works. The line work, on the other hand, seems a little samey, like every line is the same thickness. A little mixture of the line quality can go a long way to making the work stand out.

————

Negligence: Lizzep finally meets her idols, with epically weird results. Oh, and look at how I don't follow my own advice with the art (sorry, had to make a dig at myself there).

So, in the latest instalment of Negligence, Lizzep has a Wayne's World moment … You should go check it out. She may be "not worthy", but she is kind of fun!

*****************************

Meanwhile, on the other side of the gag strip / story comic divide, the latest instalment of Shades sees everyone's favourite nude bald man stumbling in his attempt to rescue Becky from a fate worse than death. Well, okay. Not so much "worse than death" as … well, just death!

Also, this is the last page of the penultimate chapter so, if you want to have any idea of what's going on as we rush headlong towards the climax, this may well be your last chance to find out!

Posted at

While I have no idea what's going om in Shades at the moment, I really like the art. It reminds me a bit of Gary Gianni (the artist on MonsterMen which was a backup in Hellboy comics). Good stuff! :D

Carnivore Carnival has hit its third page, which means that the first story is halfway done! Who is the mysterious girl?

(in case you didn't know, CC is a collection of short stories ranging from 1 to to 52 pages).
