On Faust, the last two pages of Faust showing us a slime turning into a being on the next page, the being turned out to be some kind of a devil and the devil turns out to be Doctor Faust… Can you become more epic that that?

———————————————————

On Electronic Revolutions: The Burnhams, the flashback continues with something wicked appearing and what's this wicked thing's intention.

However, I editted the dialogue mistakes on the page but as usual, DD takes some time for things to happen… anyway, it's still understood, I think.

Nice little cliffhanger to end the page on. I'm wondering how this war is gonna kick off.

Today on Times Like This: Part 2 of Cassie's class reunion.

Posted at

Times Like This it's always amusing the kinds of things other people remember, usually not the cool thing either. In this case, well, go see for yourself!

The Chronicles of Wyrden updates today with the morning after and somewhere that Church Windship is getting ever closer to Sullavale Port.

Wyrden also got featured, so a big thanks to everyone who made that happen!

Cheers from myself and Reva!

Congrats on the feature! You totally deserve it! Today's page is a beauty, of course. I particularly like the first two panels. They really set a mood. The hatching and crosshatching is wonderfully executed too.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Check out Used Books today for a juvenile visual gag involving the "debonair" Conrad and the less-than-suave (but always trying) Tristan.
Used Books is always a good read and the last few episodes have been liberally sprinkled with a sly humour, too.
Taking that trend to its logical conclusion, today's update adds a splash of slapstick to the mix! Go see, go read, go chuckle. But mind your head!
***********************
Meanwhile, over in Shades, our fantasy sequence runs riot, with giant snakes baring their fangs everywhere you look …
Definitely not one for the Indiana Joneses out there!
Hmm, I like what you've done in panels 3-5. Gives it a very nice effect. Also, some good colouring you've got too.
Age of Ends updates and we see what the prince is up to and just how many soldiers are actually left after all this fighting.
Posted at
Mmm. I love a good heartless and violent character. Good job, DMH!
Morphic updates this week with a dramatic change in colour! Which, yes, means that they are finally out of the miserable alleyway - and we're gearing up for some big revelations. :)
Posted at
Morphic continues to amaze with the stunning artwork, beautiful coloring, and a cliffhanger ending on just about every page! I faved this comic as soon as I first laid eyes on it, and it's not failed to deliver! Simply brilliant stuff!
###
The first photo comic, which will lead into a larger photo story for a little while. I think it'll be fun to mix it up a little. The whole point of this comic is to try new things and mix it up - to have fun. Hopefully, it'll be fun to read too! :D
Check out and write a review for this comic in the forums too, if you would!
Trevor: That was a brilliant photo comic! I loved it! Cats are generally evil, but I think you might have got one worthy of supervillainy :D Love the facial expressions. Its nice to see the artist behind the comic too. :)
George updated today!!! We are back for the finale of the George and Gladys saga. Wedding bells are ringing. Well, I hope so….
@George the Dragon - cake looks yummy. Though here's how I interpret the joke. In marriage, it can all be fake and either partner can manifest their reptilian side (metaphor. Not the David Icke kind).
MAG-ISA updates today. Nothing much to say.
MAG ISA - I dunno… I'd be a little surprised to see an old priest who knew how to fight! :D He's pretty well-defined for a man his age!
National Dex updated today with the "introduction" of a new character.
LOL………Love the final wresting "move" there in the last few panels. Cool comic!! :-)
……………………………………………………………………..
Hades updates today. Todays comic, shows us why it is a good thing to have a parasite living inside your skull cavity.
The Hades comic has some excellent spot blacks. Well, 'duh!' you may say but in a scene that's black and white the correct amount of black needed to convey the 3-D illusion to a 2-D drawing can be tough to manage. Also, there's enough details to where the picture has definition and detail but not so busy as to hide flaws in the artist drawing. There are plenty of examples of pro's that needlessly add lines for detail that all they really do is hide mistakes.
My comic is The Necropolis Chronicles:
http://www.drunkduck.com/The_Necropolis_Chronicles/index.php?p=414618
I think people should read it because it's a story that starts from the ground up building upon itself to create an overall masterpiece!
Goth-witch teen Jaina Hawkins as she finds herself on a scholarship to the prestigeous Rochester Academy only to discover it to be the front lines of the battle between supernatural and preternatural forces where the student body are the soldiers and the casaulties in the battle for supremacy!
Action-Horror was never this good before!
The Necropolis Chronicles page today is small or its kind, but I think that adds it own uniqueness to it.
I like that it brought up a issues that all us girls find in hight school. BBOOOYYSSS. *Drools.*
Dig that crazy Mandelbrot hairstyle. And that outfit is pretty kinky.
Today on Times Like This: Part 3 of the class reunion. My next installment should clear things up about the speech.
Posted at
Times Like This shows us one practical utility of time travelling: avoiding unconfortable situations by changing the whole time-space thing! It's interesting, it makes you think, it's good!
This time, both Telenime and Freakenburg are updated.
In Telenime, Katty the cecaelia is back and she has a plan to escape from Chibi Hell!
In Freakenburg, Mariko shows that she's the kind of person that feels better when she talks about her issues and stuff. I wish I could be like her in that way…
Posted at
Telenime and Freakenburg update, one weirder than the other. Mariko has the kind of confidence talking about her personal problems that comes through in a good way in Freakenburg.
The Chronicles of Wyrden has a little bonus update with an intermission page of sorts, a little colour work and it's still Wyrden related since the rooftop scene was inspired by some of the notes and designs I'd made for Wyrden, as well as some of the fragments that never quite made it into Fate's Hand.
That's just how me and Reva roll!
Cya on Monday for the story update!
Special treats await you at the latest page of The Chronicles of Wyrden: in a brief interlude from the comic "proper", the Doc provides us with a fun extract from a story and Reva provides some beautiful full-colour artwork. Gorgeous stuff!
*******************
The latest instalment of Shades, on the other hand, just has more giant snakes and more naked man-butt (of the tattooed variety).
Oh, and a prayer. Of sorts.
Another awesome, well executed page. Great layout. Great Dialogue and Great building suspense. I don't know what else to say about Shades. Just a pro job, all the way round, installment after installment.
……………………………………………………………………..
Engine updates. Silas seems to be slobbering alot……and Jinn has a new big brother!!
Posted at
Engine proves time and time again that it's a great combination of awesome art, detail, design and humour that keeps me coming back for more. Awesome work again Tim.
The Chronicles of Wyrden updates today with the discovery of a certain missing head that's been a question on many readers minds since Nightshade turned up.
Well, now you'll finally know!
Ooh, right through the eye! Today's Chronicles of Wyrden is not for the squeamish or for those against nudity. Boobs and blood, what more could anyone want?
Today's Warriors of the Night also contains one of the B words mentioned above. Click on my banner to find out which one.
@ RA - Nice pencils and colors. It definitely intrigued me in these characters. Great job!
Off Hours updated today! Andrea, The Queen of Despair, faces off with Violet, the Queen of All Things Negative, in a battle of wits and attitude. Guess who wins?
Script by me (Allen of Due East) and introducing art by Amelius of Charby The Vampirate! Not to be missed…
Posted at
Off Hours–Great colors and art by Amelius, The characters were interesting right off the bat, muti-dimensional, and worthy of inspiring me to want to return for the back story.
RURAL YOUTH ongoing just premiered and is only a cover but will also only cost you .75 cents:
