@ Hades - Our hero seems to have bitten off quite a bit more than it looks like he can chew, in trying to understand the secrets of the time and space and the universe in general. It also vaguely resembles a really bad trip, man! Great linework as always, with amazingly vivid expressions and details, etc.
Due East updated yesterday, with a return to the present and more realizations (albeit pleasant ones) for Brielle.
Oh, and I added a music player to the Due East page with music to match the theme of the comic. I hope you enjoy!
Due East is a lovely slice-of-life drama. For the past few pages it's been in flashback mode but today it returns to the present with a very uplifting page. It captures that kind of moment when everything seems right. So right, in fact, that - if this was a TV soap - you'd just know an aircraft was about to come crashing through the wall, killing half the cast!
But, fortunately, it's not a TV soap. Go read it now. Go on - it'll make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside!

No "warm and fuzzies" in the latest update to Shades. Just lots of doom, gloom and impending death. But it is very nicely drawn!
Actually, this page was posted yesterday but somehow real life got in the way and kept me from posting here. It's the last page of Chapter 8 and the last page to be drawn by the original artist. After this, Shades will be taking a break for a couple of weeks, before returning in early September wih the first pages drawn by the new art team.
If I were you, I'd use the next few weeks to read all the archives. Twice, at least!

Lol. Good page. Swords are so shiny… So pointy… Jess did a great job with all the poses here. Definitely worth a look. The guest strip today was quite amusing too. That guy seriously needed the cloak.

Explosions with an unknown cause? Very intriguing and always suspicious. I like the soft coloring effects over the pencil lines.

Used Books started a new chapter today. Yesterday, we summed up Seiko and Yuki's first evening on the yacht. (They discussed Seiko's bad habit of giving bad guys the benefit of the doubt.) Today, we join Kaida, who has taken her friend's advice and gone to see help for her insomnia (among other problems).
Nu & Me is just TOO darn cute :) Not much action, I guess, no profound dialogue - but there's cuteness overload, every time. The artwork is simple, yet very fitting. 'cause it's SO CUTE! And so are the colors. And the white and the black bunny. Aaahhhh!
Used Books - wow it's been a WHILE since I checked Vickie's comic! The improvement in the artwork department = whoa! The lineart and the coloring are getting more and more pro. As for counselling, I wouldn't be able to decide what the perfect age/age difference would be… If they're significantly older, there's that air of experience, but then you feel like a kid being set straight by a mother figure… Hmm…

Been delaying to write a full comic review for Plastic in the main Comic Review category. :cry: The comic got me totally hooked with the professional art, like a real manga. =D And a storytelling style fits my taste, where I enjoy so much. Crossing Death reminds me a little of Order of the Stick. It's pretty nifty.

the art is good! it's simple, but verry full of movement and well, it's good! and i like that shadow guy who had the bad guy in a burlap sack.
PUTRID MEAT updates. tried a little bit less of a usual layout then i usually do. i like it, might stick with it. and puke emerges from the sewer to be nabbed by some bounty hunters and we find out a little bit about him.
