Illegal Aliens: It seems I'm destined to update and comment on Ziffy's work for the next few updates, the way things are going. So, here we go again! The solid dialogue continues with this update and I'm quite partial to the soft-shade effect that's being used, it lends an almost dreamlike quality to the page.
The Chronicles of Wyrden continues with the arrival of someone to shake things up perhaps?
Hooray! Just back from hols and there's a new page of The Chronicles of Wyrden to greet me! And a new character, too … Another beautiful and very stylish lady who looks as if she's not to be trifled with! Which is a shame. Because I do like trifles!
Okay, I'm off to catch up on all the pages I've missed. You can go and look at this one. (Just don't mention the trifle thing!)

Oh, before I go, I should mention that not only am I back from hols but Shades is back, too. Today's instalment is the first of a new chapter and the first to be drawn by our new art team.
I think you'll like it. It's got one of our main bad guys haviing a bit of a rant and he's building something. Big!

Brand new Warriors of the Night today. And we finally see how Damien and his clan are handling the rising sun.
I like the style of Warriors of the Night. Bold outlines with vibrant colors give it a very clean and eye-catching look. The latest page is really cool. The single (two-word) line has a lot of emphasis.

Used Books update today is the last page of the current chapter. Kaida and her brother Tristan are alone and have a long overdue moment of candor. And there's cake!
It's been said before by me and others, but the biggest strength of Used Books is clearly the facial expressions and the overall delivery of emotion - the silent panel on this page being a fine example for the latter.
Bulletproof updates today with the first story page in… aw crap, has it really been that long? Shockwire's back, someone has a knife, and the night sky above Junction City still looks oddly like someone splattered wite paint all over it. Yay!
Bulletproof: This is the first time I've ever heard or read Bulletproof, and I have to say I'm impressed. The comic looks great in B&W and the art is wonderful.

A colored page of Used Books is up today. Seiko and Yuki are continuing their duties aboard ship as maids and discussing Yuki's history (comparing and contrasting to literary characters). Fans of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle will get the references. Others might learn something.

On The Temple of a Thousand Tears, the Dragette seems like a storng adversary against Abraham… would he be able to defeat him? I love the coloring of this page. Good use on the shadings and stuff… are you using watercolor to color the page? It does seem so…
