@ Ethereal - Very nice b&w pencilled manga on a touching subject. Having lost my own dad to cancer, I relate. Good job making both sympathetic and immediately interesting characters, a lot to get out of just one page. And the style of penciling is good, too. I enjoyed the high-five "Fight-O!" ;)
Due East updated today! Brielle and Carolyn have an interesting conversation about Brielle's recent decision – plus a DD cameo from a certain time traveling gal!
Due East - I really like your rendering of the characters here - their expressions and poses are very natural, and the subtle colors really benefit the scene.

Aaahhh… Nothing like good old fashion "Get-your-ass-whooped-by-a-gang-of-demons." gag. XD But I do love the muscle texture you gave to all these characters! Very nice! Not to much, but not to weak. =3
But I still wounder, why the hell are you doing webcomics, when you got so much great comic artist talent? O_o? You got some great talent! You should try and make some money off of it!

I really like the cross hatching and the emptiness adds to the tension of the page. This should turn into that horror movie where the guy picks up the phone and speaks to a kidnapped person =p

Today, Crossing Death ends its third chapter.
Slaying a cat girl? I think they're jealous. Everyone wants to be a cat girl! Anyway, it's a cool way to end a chapter. They have a plan and are on a mission. (Though I think they should just capture the cat girl and get her some shots and spayed. ;) )

Check out the Used Books update because it is a page that had a major facelift. The original was seriously flawed but I managed to salvage it. (Details in my author's notes.) As for the plot development, that is worth looking at too, because things take a turn for our protagonists and Seiko's pent up frustrations from this trip have finally been released.
There's some action over at Used Books - complete with blood, hair-pulling, and a shirt that's simply too small! A must see (and the redesign was very well done - it flows much nicer now).

Salt the Holly updated today, and this time, there's actually SALT in it. For the first time ever. Amazing.
Salt's been adding in some backgrounds lately, which is a refreshing change of pace. Add to that the fact that there's some texture to the water (subtle texture, but noticeable all the same), and you can see this book evolving as it goes.
If these improvements keep up, a month from now this book is going to look very different - and in a good way!

Over in Shades, we've been spending a lot of time with our villains just lately. Ah well … all good things must come to an end!
But not to worry. We may be taking a short break from Bedlam and Dominion but at least that'll give us a chance to see what some of the good guys have been doing. Hmmm - is that the sound of scissors, I can hear?
@Shades - A good talk between Stan and Doug, sort of the calm before the storm. Great introspection and character development page. Oh, and the art's great, too!
Off Hours updated today! We come full circle with Andrea and Cai in this page. The giant wolf has gotten away, our resident nonhumans (Cai and Aisha) have been chasing after him to no avail and well, then there's Happy Andrea.
