Cool action sequence in the last four panels. I like the slight overlap of the character as he/she tumbles.

In Used Books we have either a long awaited heartfelt confession or more fever-driven ramblings. Either way, it's cute and awkward.

In USED BOOKS we often find the hardest thing to accept is worthiness to be loved.
In the CROSSOVERLORD, Mindmistress takes center stage, with some really different art from Lewis, Lightbringer's creator. However, not so different that MM and Dasien forego their usual snarkfest.

The Crossoverlord is a group effort, and so the style changes with each new page.
I'm actually pretty fascinated for know how it is all organised.
Is the story agreed by the group or can each person make up what they want to happen when they get to their page?
It is certainly fun to watch it unfold!

In Harkovast, The Old Knights gets some much needed help!
Some nice textures in the coloring and some epic panels make Harkovast an interesting looking comic. For critique, I would recommend using actual balloons for your dialogue, so it's easier to read and helps the reader's eye flow through the page better.

@$$hole!: Trevor gets put in his place
Temple: Sophia and Selphi arrive at the West Bar in the mountains to confront Xen.
First off, HARKOVEST has beautiful coloring.
Secondly….ummm. The process of CROSSOVERLORD is kind of complicated…
This started out by an outline from Lewis, Lightbringer's creator.
That evolved into a bigger script, at least for the first leg of the story, by Lewis and Remus, Dead Debbie's author.
After that we discuss, and either I or Neil do proposed storyboards for the individual pages (typically, Neil often does his own, I often do the others), trying to take into account everybody's wishes. We haven't done that through the end of the story, but we've done it till mid-summer so far. All of that is TENTATIVE. Each creator is free to change details, pacing, number of panels, etc. to fit their art style. If there's a major change in what's laid out, we hope we'll alert the others before it's put out there. We talk a lot. We put in jokes. We tweak it if one author says it doesn't sound like their character.
Of course we have to assign who does what. A lot of times some of us volunteer for a particular page that strikes their fancy. Then we discuss who gets the leftovers. We've learned some of our individual strengths and weaknesses. I tend to overuse dialogue, for instance. Neil is best on funny scenes. Remus does dynamite backgrounds.
We are deliberately working towards several goals, several high points along the storyline. We have proposed scenes and settings beyond mid-summer, for instance that are coming up.
We have at least one surprise proposed that will knock your socks off.
That answer your question?

Ok, you didn't follow the rules so…

WWE The Comic: As the Undertaker returns thing get completely out of hand. See for yourself.
Sorry. When I started to write the answer, (since not just a comment, but a question was asked) there wasn't another answer in between. I did get interrupted in mid-reply, though. I should have checked it. So…TEMPLE OF A THOUSAND TEARS, as always, follows a fascinating story with wit and complexity…one of the better webcomics on Drunk Duck…
And WWE, as always, remains the best photo-positioned webcomic with wrestling action figures in the world. *Grin*
Anyone following me, please comment on WWE, since Crossoverlord has already been commented on this update.
@WWE
My favorite part of checking out this comic is seeing TOYS! I miss toys. The little folding chair and laptop are so cute. Why is everything small cute? Even the tiny wrestlers are cute. Awe. (I'm sure it's all quite manly and everything, but I can't help but smile at all the little bits of plastic. :) )

Gelotology updated with a strip all about robotics and the types of people who come up with the most advanced kinds of technology. There's a lot more detail and color than Monday's strip. (I was off my game Monday, so I wanted to make up for that.)
Geotology - hehehe…funny! made me chuckle =]……in the first panel, there's a robot that looks like a unit from a command and conquer game o_O

QUEST:Chapter 1: Page-6: Quinn's Curiousity just updated! It looks like the lil perverted midget is up to more naughty stuff..

@DMH - really funny stuff! :D I like your style and coloring. I especially like the wrestling = gay porn bit.

Today, The Rose Killer has updated *link in sig*
A one panel page showing the dramatic end to our mystery man. Also, the site has a slightly new layout. Enjoy! :D
the rose killer-cool idea to just have em shoot him through the door. so much for that dude.
the layout's lookin nice too. simple yet it suits the comic.
PUTRID MEAT-don't scare a dude when he's trying to hide form you in a pool of corpses.
Putrid Meat……….Putridly awesome artwork, coloring and dialogue. I love how the artist portays expressions, and the hand coloring gives this series a "dirty-gritty" kind of feel. One of my favorite creators.

Glimmer: Oh, interesting, you used watercolors to make this page correct? That's very original.

WWE The Comic: Boogeyman returns!!!
Pokemon Pink: This comic has updated the second time this week, as I am trying to revive it from it's nearly one year death. Anyway, this page marks the end of the second chapter and the legendary bird storyline.
Interim State nice art and an interesting deal for Pilate is on the horizon!
The Chronicles of Wyrden updates today and it seems it is indeed a 'parting of the ways', just what is Morgan up to?
Note/Edit: There are no pencils used in the current art-style of Wyrden. It's all ink-brush and water-soluble pencil for the highlight/tones. Lines are drawn with ink and detailed with ink and water-soluble pencil. (from Reva)
The Chronicles of Wyrden: Very beautiful pencil-work there. Also very cool character designs (the guy with the long ponytail seems cool!). I'll have to go through your archive, but it'll totally be worth it!
Ryu's Krew updates again this week with it's second update! Let's find out Ryu and Draycho's reaction to what Draycho just did!
Hehe. That guy should be nicer to El Arquitecto. I mean, maybe his face just LOOKS like that. Or maybe he's a burn victim with hideous scars. Metaphorically speaking, don't we all wear masks? …

Two separate plotlines collide (a little) in Used Books, as Yuki appears looking a bit disturbed/disheveled by her rough day. I tried some lighting techniques to make the scene look more quiet and evening-set, because quite a few hours have passed since this story arc began. It turned out okay but somehow it looks like daytime outside but evening within. (Although, it is an urban setting, so maybe that's accurate lighting.)
I bet Brad beat her up - with his happy orange phone! That would certainly be a twist, huh? I hope that's not the case - I *like* Brad. And Tristan + Jiro = ultimate combo of cavity-causing sweetness!

Today's Salt gives us a look at what's happening on the mainland while our intrepid crew it out to sea. Followers will get more out of it than those who are heading over to take a peek, but hey - there's still a CatFace poster for your viewing pleasure!
(You're welcome to check out But Not Really, of course - but we only have teasers up right now.)
Salt The Holly: Uh oh, I sense something bad is going to happen to them… Great conclusion to the chapter by the way.
___________
Pokemon Sinnoh Surfer: The Harry Potter parody continues.
Anime Remix: L wants guest comics!!!
WWE The Comic: The Undertaker and Boogeyman get into a heated argument leading up to the both of them attempting to kill each other.
Anyone who does not find something inherrantly amusing about pro wrestling reenacted using action figures in the form of a web comic is frankly such a cold hearted soul that they have no place amongst right minded drunk duckers!
——————————————————————————–
Harkovast enjoys its first update on a new schedule today!
The violence of the battle just got ramped up massively! If you thought Harkovastians were brutal to each other before, it just went to a new level of hurt!
