Had an almost two hour long workout at the gym. Did 20 mins of treadmill, 10 mins of that weirdass stepladder, 20 mins of that bicycle thing, and like an hour playing with the various weight machines and giving up after 5 reps.

I find it lame that with upper body i can barely work 20lbs and with my scrawny legs i can easily pump 70+lbs without even breaking a sweat (years of trampoline heh) I wonder what the maximum weight my legs can lift up is though…

It was 10.00 at night and two younger guys came in, but left right away >.> I put on deodorant sheesh.

EDIT: man i feel so good right now, this is just what i needed sea_cow you should try it

Haha. That's the spirit Skullbie!

Working out definitely makes you feel better.
I'm starting to get my run up, but it's not much at all. But I'm definitely happy about that. I can't wait until I can do like, 5 miles or whatever. It'll be awesome.

Anyway, I'm already almost done with Chapter 1's New Chapter Page. Which is kind of based off of Afro Samurai in a way. Because it seemed like the Chapter Page set up the rest of the Chapter, in like, one big picture. So that's kind of what I wanted to do. It's coming out amazingly.

And my laptop charger isn't here yet. It better be here before Tuesday. :(

Oh, and I've noticed, I'm getting a lot more fit.

Dang, I'm jealous of you guys with the motivation to get fit.

I wish Virgin Mobile had more phones. They're the only cell phone company I've dealt with where I haven't felt like I was getting totally gypped, but there aren't a lot of choices.

Get a nice one from e-bay and then just put your sim-card in. There's always another way.

A loop hole for everything.

Well I have complained about my computer troubles before. The power keeps flickering (since it is a laptop, there is a battery that keeps the computer on). If I were to use my warranty to get my computer and power cord checked out, there would be a 10 buisness day turn around where I mail my computer to them and they repair/send back replacement. I can not be away from my computer for 10 business days because the semester is ending and I kinda need everything on it.

I have decided the bite the bullet. Assuming that the problem is in my power cord and not the computer, I have ordered a new one to be shipped to me by the end of the week. Then I will have two working power cords (once I send the faulty one in for replacement at the end of the semester.)

Course there is the chance that this problem lies in my computer. I would rather not think of this. But, if that is the case, I will still have to wait till the end of the semester, back up all my work/files and send in the computer for the 10 day turn around thing.

O_o I could try that…I wouldn't know how to go about it, though, and it's more than likely that I would end up breaking both phones. My current phone is really cheap, though, so I guess it wouldn't be too big a deal if I did.

Simply open up the battery compartment. Somewhere in there should be a memory card looking thing. Careful, it is rather small. Once you transfer it to another phone, it will have your phone number and your address book (assuming you saved your address book to your SIM card.) Only problem would be that some new phones do not recognize old SIM cards.

(edit) DAMN that was scary. The power bumped in my building the 3 of the elevators shut down for about a minute. There were some pretty startled residents inside. Luckily the elevators rebooted by themselves. But I think the police officer that came out to check on things was annoyed with me. He is usually a cheerful guy…no one seemed too concerned. But they weren't at the front desk with the alarm constantly beeping. The beeping stresses me out. My supervisor happily informed me that there could be more bumps through out the day cause there is a storm coming.

Thanks, maybe I'll give that a go! It should work…my phone is reasonably new, it's just kind of junky. If I can get my battery out, anyhoo. I've had some trouble with that in the past. -_- I'm a retard with that kind of stuff.

Edit: Well fuck that, my dad just told me that he's willing to spend 100 dollars on my birthday. My entire birthday. Cake, presents, everything. Just great. My god, my dad makes an insane amount of money for doing NOTHING, and he can't spend money on me once a year?

Edit edit: I really need to stop getting my hopes up for my birthday. My parents do this every year. The worst time was two years ago when they told me I would be getting a computer and I literally got an earring tree and a book.

So sorry Hippie. I got a new phone for my birthday. I thought it was odd since I knew the cost of the phone. But I found out dad got quite a sizable rebate on it later.

I think I've officially hit the point of burnout. I hopped up on my bed at 3:50 to put my phone on it's charger and just now at about 5:25 woke up. I've been sleeping about 4-5 hours a night. I thought I was good to go, but it still sneaked up on me. Luckily though, I'm pretty sure I've gotten enough done up to now that I can afford to take a day off and sleep through it. Just gotta make sure I don't have work like last Sunday when I slept through it without knowing I had to go in. I bugs me that I don't remember falling asleep like that, but oh well.

Today was such a good day!
I got my new laptop charger (using my laptop right now! :3)
I woke up at 9 o clock, which is decent for me. Stayed home, chilled with my parents. Got the first re-done Chapter Page almost done, and almost finished inking the second one.

I think I'll get to work on the website tonight. And stuff.
:)

Went out to the range today and brought Triela along with me. Josh was there too, but before we could figure out why his shotgun didn't work, a fire broke out downrange. Some idiot was shooting tracers into a field of dry brush. Meanwhile, while the fire is starting to spread, Josh and I walk around and start collecting clay pigeons that didn't explode on landing so we can use them tomorrow. Got about 50 of them.

Argh, just my luck… Last time I checked, ka-blam still had this thing where they were giving 20$ credit on signup, which in my case would totally cover the cost of proof and either all or most of shipping. Well, I can't find any info on that on their site anymore (used to be in FAQ) sooo, I guess they don't do it anymore.

There goes my plan of sending the files this week :P

In other news. I'm pondering using this yourfonts.com site thing to make some font of my own. Been playing around with letter shapes on paper to see what works and what doesn't and then I'll mess around with the site, see what comes out of it.
Hopefully something good, then I can use it to do more fonts (I have some crazy font designs I did over the years spread across several notebooks).

Urgh, I ate too much noodles. Whenever I stuff myself with food I get really thirsty, so I'm drinking my fourth glass of tea this evening. And it looks like the fifth one is approaching too…

Hyena: I know, I come across as spoiled. But compared to the amount my parents are making that's not a very big amount. I mean, my mom got flippin' laser eye surgery. My parents haven't spent that kind of money on me in my life. Not that I expect them to. I never ask for stuff in that price range.
My birthday is just the one day I want to be pampered, to be able to get that seven dollar piece of best cake in the world or that giant cupcake that I can't even afford to look at the rest of the year.

Today was a pretty nice day after all. In the afternoon I went for a long walk with my friend, and then we came back to my house for lemonade. The weather was quite pleasant.
Then that crap with my birthday happened, but I got some figures and talked to my dad in a calmer mood about the things I want, and I think he's willing to get me more of it now. I probably still won't get a phone, but I usually buy my own electronics anyways. I can save up some money. Most of the stuff I want isn't very fancy, like a new computer desk(the one I have now shakes when I type, it's pretty ridiculous actually). I think I'm entitled to want a nice unnecessary item once in a while. I'm a teenager, for goodness' sake.
After that I went to see Adventureland with my other friend…there were parts I really liked and others I really didn't, but overall it was worth watching.
And tomorrow I get to hang out with my dad and then my older sister is coming over. So if I don't freak out because I haven't gotten enough alone time, it will be a nice weekend surrounded by my favourite people.

@ Hippie: No, no- I don't think that's spoiled or unreasonable. I've just been poor for so long that my first reaction to the phrase "$100" is "OMG that's a fortune!" ;)

I feel like I've wasted the day… I mean, I know I did stuff; probably even some stuff I was supposed to do. But it's all just kind of a blur. I'm debating now whether to make coffee and stay up and draw (so I'll feel like I didn't waste the day) or to just go to bed and try again tomorrow…

Hippies posts make me feel bad since i complain so damn much and yet my lower middle class parents shower me with money. I went over my verizon cap again and now they have to pay 125$ extra on top of 65$. Also i've been wanting hearing aids so that's 3k, on top of 75$ for gym membership. This is just for this month ._. (fuck you april)
Seriously i just whined for 30 minutes about why it wasn't fair that i couldn't go to the gym past 11pm, i went and apologized to her just now though.

I'm on dail-up again, honestly i don't know why i even left this it's not even that slow if i turn images off and it's only 15$

A puppy (well, adolescent dog) was dumped at the park where I work today. I brought her home (because of bears and coyotes and copperheads all over the park). My dad hates dogs and is being a bit cold to me now. -_- But I think I might have found a home for her already or possibly a rescue group in case I don't locate her owners. (I'm pretty sure she was dumped. All signs point to that.)

That said, I can't wait to have my own home so I can get a dog. Sigh. – Not that I don't love my cat, of course, but cats fulfill different pet ownership needs than dogs do.

Oh, and my cat's birthday is this week. She's 15 years old, so I'm happy but I'm also sad… because she's getting old.

ugh… birthday in a few days. I'm really getting on in years. I honestly do feel old… I really shouldn't complain though as that's the way nature works. My birthday is just another regular day now as well. Not that I don't appreciate it. I just have no real reason to make a big celebration out of it. Then again, my parents were too poor in those days to put out a nice birthday celebration in the first place.

When I make noodles, I keep the water with them and eat them like a soup. :)

Eating noodles all the time though makes you fart a lot. lol!

I don't really like birthdays that much…
Oh, and I remember when $100 was like a fortune to me, heh, it's not nice not having money. But when you do have it you don't appreciate it any more. -at least in my case. Money spoils you.
But even so, I still live just as frugally as I ever did, just because I really like it.

Yes, this site has certainly become bland over the past few months. TD shut down, featured comics aren't getting as much notice as they used to, the Comic Reviews sub-forum gets one comment a week (if its lucky), and currently, there doesn't seem to that many comics that stand out from the rest.
