^WHAT'S WRONG AARON?!?!

;)
———-

Kitty just got back, she was in heat so the operation was a lot more -_- I feel bad for her but we just can't have any more cats. She's under my bed purring up a storm, wtf weirdo cat xP We didn't buy the cone(it's 30$) so i'm going to make my own.

Man i hate zuda, i have faster internet now, and their shitty viewer STILL takes me forever to load? I seriously don't need to see a 4mb image zuda, and your viewer freezes constantly. I looked at my usage after fiddling around with that and it was 79 mb. -__-

edit: the spayed cat keeps pressing her damn woo-hoo on me! :gem: ugh it's like 200 degrees i could feel it through my shirt knock it off! :gem: I skootch away and she friggin follows me with it ugh

It was FOOKING hot for a funeral! Thank all that's good that I didn't wear all black like some people. Just nice dark business suit type pants and a white long sleeved shirt. Plus my panama hat. It wasn't so bad in the church, -it was a very big old fashioned Gothic affair, VERY traditional Roman Catholic service for my devout grandmother. Th priest had all the proper vestments, his assistant fellow (don't know what the proper name is) was a charming addition: shorter than the priest, fat, round and balding, in a white robe with a purple cord around the middle. He looked like friar tuck! He bumbled away in a funny manner…
The Censor with the incense was really choking though. What a horrible cloying smell! And although my grandmother would've LOVED the traditional ceremony, I didn't.

If I wasn't already someone that didn't believe in the Christian mythology, ceremonies like that would certainly put me off. -Although conversely I'm happy that the old things still continue like that. :)

The burial was at the HOT cemetery with the sun beating us like a blacksmith's hammer. The same place and the same weather as when my grandfather was buried almost 13 years ago. I was one of the few people to wear a hat. The funeral people passed out wet towels, water and umbrellas for the heat.
———————-

Then it was back to my cousin's house for a big family get together. They were all lovely people but it's so fricken awkward and I'm a bit of a snob…
It's just good to be home again.

———————-
@Skull- do they use some silly Flash or Java based thing? I hate the crap. The only comic site I found that really did flash perfectly was Alpha Shade: NO massive downloads, just a nice customised viewer that they used because they have vector artwork and flash shows it in its native format with the advantage of zooming etc. (REAL zoom).

I hate this stupid economy. I work hard enough to support myself then my hours get cut. My computer died I had to replace it which ate up all my rainy day funds and now I am broke. Pitifully, impossibly broke. I would say that I have my health but allergy season has reared it's ugly head and I'm already suffering from sinus headaches. I'm almost out of medicine and I have to buy more, I need to buy more groceries, I need to pay off my medical bill, I need to do this and that and all that shit! I hate money! I hate it so much! The more money I have the more things I need to spend it on! It's making me a cranky and unpleasant person, too. I hang out with this girl who has her dad paying all of her bills and I just want to slap her because I get so jealous. I need a vacation…

The cintiq should have come with its own special pen. Any other wacom pen won't work.

It's only 9pm and I'm knackered. Damn you Newcastle! Why did I travel 8 hours for a 3 hour meeting, again?

That's kind of disappointing. I'll have to see if I can rent one from the school. They've got enough of them sitting around.

Is anyone else getting logged out if they don't refresh DD for more than 30 minutes? I keep having to log in again when I check things and I've always just been able to stay logged in.

I've been getting lots of network timeouts, pretty annoying, but no logouts.

———–

So i feel bad since on my wordpress statpage it shows the visitors and how many/what pages they went through. Most of the pageviews stop at pg 4 -_- This is right when i get into the crappier old art. NOW i feel like i should redo all the old pages. I mean not to the extent i do for the latest pages, but maybe even in pencil because i intend to do my second comic in it.
I have the storyboards already and if i rush it shouldn't take more than a week to get them sketched, maybe 2 and a half weeks to ink, and then i can just slap tone on in under 4 days. I'm never going to get this comic rolling :stache:

Also check out my favicon!

I am ashamed how long this took to make :)

Another day, another group of druggo idiots wandering through/destroying the countryside, pushing the Jackass Hunting Licence scheme ever closer to fruition.

And on a night before work, and at my place, lovely, just fucking lovely.

I feel terrible. Whatever I have is pretty much giving me every single symptom a cold/flu could possibly give me. I always get a flu shot so I haven't been this sick in a really long time. I'm so exhausted that I don't feel like doing ANYTHING except thinking about how sick I am.
And I did something really dumb today that just made me feel worse. I had to go to school today because I had a test and a bunch of things due, but felt like throwing up at lunch so I basically ate the almonds out of a granola bar and part of a banana. So by the time I got home I was starving(I hadn't had much breakfast either), and since my stomach felt so hungry I couldn't tell that I still felt sick as well and so I ate everything I saw. Of course when I stopped being hungry I realized that I still felt really, really nauseous and that eating so much crap hadn't helped.

I need some good funny movies to get me through the next couple days while I lounge about and recover. Any suggestions?

Edit: I think I'm a little dazed out from being sick…I just misplaced a piece of pear somewhere. That is going to be pretty gross when I find it.

Oh. My. Gawd.

So because Skullbie got me intrigued to the point of action, I'm now reading Lonely Werewolf Girl. And I'm wondering: did this dude, like, proofread it at all? I mean, at all? I'm having trouble reading it without mentally editing: rearranging sentence structures, replacing words, adding or omitting descriptions. It's unbelievable!

So. bad. Must. Read. More…

you know when you read an "english" comic… then you read a manga comic next. Here at drunkduck.

I get confused when I'm suppose to read right to left or left to right.

I dont get it why manga-styled comics insist on getting it read right to left when the english text is left to right. screws me up sometimes. lol

Next time I'll do a comic you read it from BOTTOM TO TOP AND RIGHT TO LEFT!!!. Howdya like that? lol! (*im just kidding*)

Oh, I hate that! Unless it's translated from Japanese, why would it be meant to read right to left? WHY? I've actually given up on reading otherwise interesting comics because of this. It's one thing when it's a graphic novel or something; but for some reason I never expect it with webcomics. And then I just feel stupid after I realise the reason the last 5 pages didn't make sense is because I wasn't reading the panels in the correct order.

Definitely not. Are your cookies being deleted or something? Actually, if your IP changes that will happen too.
-Cintiq pens are special

Actually you need an Intuos 3 pen. They're the same for Cintiqs, but don't work with Intuos 2 or 1

I have an Intuos 3 and it still wasn't working. Maybe I'm just special.

I don't know about my cookies. My school's internet is what I'm using since I live right around the corner and it's pretty wonky most of the time. It's not like I'm using a proxy or anything.

Pen

School internet
The Cintiq may have something wrong with it then :)
You have the latest drivers? Look through help info about recognising the pen.

The internet problem would be you school then. Schools have multiple IPs. I wouldn't be surprised if they cycled them for whatever reason…
Rorschach (and his voice) was made of sex and win ;3
The softcore porn kind? :kitty:

I too saw watchmen, the action scenes were sweet as hell-i hated the blood and guts though, my friend and his roomate came and they're both horror fanatics- they laughed everytime a guy got maimed -_- Like katch i didn't like the porn, on top of that the majority of the audience was children(srsly)
Besides that my outing was kinda ruined by having to drive them back and from the theatre-they live a while away ugh i couldn't say no and be rude though, his friends didn't even say bye when they got out.
The movie overall was mediocre, worth seeing on the bigscreen but don't expect much.
edit: guess what that spayed cat just did :gem:

The movie is rated R. The parent who takes their child to a rated R movie just because 'it's about superheroes' should just have to deal with their kid being upset (or whatever) by watching softcore sex scenes. In addition to a giant blue penis, apparently (I haven't seen it yet but it seems to be a hot topic). It was their own bad decision, don't blame the movie because someone brought their kids.

Now if the sex scene was just stupid an uncomfortable all together (most are) that's something to complain about.

Sounds like a decent film afterall.

ugh. I've decided to give up computer games for good. :(
Not that there's anything wrong with gaming, it's great fun. It's just that it seems to be the one addiction I have trouble with I can't manage my time well AND play games. It's one or the other.
Pluss, Ya spend ages on them and nothing actually gets achieved.

I know exactly how you feel.
I mean, I can understand ACTUAL manga and american comic books, because I know the difference then, but then they expect people to know which way to read. Which makes them lose readers because they didn't put at the top of the site, "Read right to left, durrrr"

Also. For some odd reason, I've been quite tired lately. I'm going back to sleep.

But before I sleep, I have something to say. My local Hobby Lobby store has Hunt #102 crow quill pens, Bristol paper, radiograph pens, and basically everything I thought I was going to have to buy online.
I almost died of happiness.
Too bad I can't get any for a while.
But still.

It's probably not the parents taking their kids to it…it is incredibly easy to sneak into an r rated movie. You can buy a ticket for another movie and go into the wrong theatre(my friend did that yesterday so he could see watchmen), or you can go to a theatre where a friend is working who will let you in.
