i dont think i've ever looked at events that were bad, and said they happened for a good reason. but everyday this car accident is looking better and better for us. the repairman called today, and said that the initial actual inspection reaches 10.5k, there's more damage for when they do a thorough inspection. he said the car repairs are almost at 60% when the repair man actually says, the car is a total. (60% of total value). now by my math, that makes the car at over 17.5k.(if anyone sees a flaw let me know, i've never been good with math) and i know insurance isnt going to pay that, but they're not going to give a much lower value than that.
this accident may very well take me from the brink of massive debt to 0 debt and a large bank account.

I saw some forum posts in another message board about people claiming to be aliens in their past lives.
One of em claimed that hewas a fox-like alien (that walks on two legs) that lived on a planet that had long winters.
And another claimed that she was a reptilian-type alien that lived on a planet that had unusually tall buildings and straw huts at the same time. She said she was a male in that past life and had two wives. Apparently these reptilians have a polygamous culture.
And then there was this other one who claimed that he was part of this wolf-like alien species and he was killed in a battle when the reptoids invaded their planet or something.
I dont know about these alien species but why is it that ALL of these supposed "alien species" apparently are based on a type of life form that lives on our planet? (insect, reptile, bird, fish, dog, cat, etc.)
Heh. I actually got stuff done today. No drawing, but lots of scanning, uploading, and boring image sizing. Well, that's something, I reckon. Oh, and I got the tattoo. I can't believe I didn't crap out on it, like I've been doing at least once a year for the past 10 years. But since I can't really see it, so I keep forgetting I have it. Which is bad, because I need to put that ointment crap on it regularly.

Hmm… I may follow people's advice about my eye. It's just as sore today. There may be so faint redness at the far corner of the eyelid. In anycase, the eye itself is fine, as far as I can tell. I'm pretty sure that watever;s the problem is in the lid or the skin/muscle above it.

something crazy just happened (or it could be just me inflating normalcy to near-critical importance)
So I was just checking my email and I got a facebook message from someone I knew a few years back… when I was a freshman in college I was like, madly in love with this guy. But he was a.) engaged (why let such a thing get in the way?) and b.) almost double my age… anyway, I was really really into him, and we hung out and painted together, but, BUT, over summer break I realized what a fool I was being… and I wasn't taking a painting class the following semester, and so I didn't happen to see him a lot. And whenever I did, I was stammering-awkward (as opposed to my usual loudmouth-awkward) because I was trying not to seem like I had the hots for him. And I intentionally avoided him so that I wouldn't like him anymore.
Anyway, apparently it was visible… and… and!! read the following!!

Be friends with Brian, but don't tell him about your boyfriend. Also, don't tell Max about Brian. If one day, Max and Brian meet each other through you, just tell them that the other person is your brother. When one of them realizes that you've been spending a lot of time with the other, just say, "Hey, he's my brother. I've gone over this a thousand times with you, but since you keep on prying in on my personal business, maybe I'll just leave you. In fact, I might just go out and start dating my brother right now! Is that what you want? Well, it's too late! I'm going to date my brother! You forced me to date my own brother!"

@ Kristen: I probably wouldn't do "the right thing" in this scenario, some I'm gonna avoid giving advice. But I'll say, if having contact with this Brian guy makes you feel like you're almost cheating on your boyfriend, then somethin' ain't right with the situation, and it seems like there might be trouble if you pursue communicating with this guy.

And it's not like I feel like writing to Brian is like cheating because of feelings(lol) but just in principal. As someone that I used to like, I should avoid him– just because if there was someone Max used to like, I would be upset if he started talking to her. Although he's friends with his ex gf still. but he gets more leeway for being so damn trustworthy. I'm a very, very sneaky person in general.

I had this epic dream last night, something about ice climbing, spider man, Altair from Assassin's creed and a dagger that had to be forged in ultimate hatred to vanquish "the eternal foe". Well, after scaling this wall of ice and having it collapse on me, and my rage fuled this "ultimate hatred" and the dagger was forged anew, I started dreaming I had to cough up phlegm since it was so cold.
And then I woke up, hocking some of it up. Now I'm sick, and apparently half of the office came in sick today too.
So, I've spent everyday of my spring break so far in a doctor's office and they keep finding new stuff that's wrong with me. Apparently in addition to the disease that's affecting my eyes, I also have large retinal cups and areas called "whites without pressure" which is essentially a really fancy way of saying that my retinas could detach from the rest of my eyes any second. And to top it off, there's also a bit of blood inside one of my eyes where it doesn't belong. What this all means is that I have yet another hour long car trip to a hospital in another city to see an eye specialist and an ear throat and nose specialist. My eyes feel like they're going to fall out of my skull with all the prodding and poking done to them.
At least I'm in the right place for eye problems. Who knew the University of Iowa was ranked something like #2 in the world for optical surgery and treatment?

I use extremetracker which is pretty good, since it narrows it to unique pageviews instead of repeat hits. I usually only check that when DD's numbers seem too good to be true.
Interesting note, about 1/5 of my views come from overseas. It was cool to find out I had a fan in China.
