Only nine pages long so far but Anatta has some great art and what looks like a wonderful story. I would suggest checking it out.

One of my new favorites is Real Cane Sugar; it's got some really unique art.

Nttw is definitely cool :) Well after you look past the fact that his main character looks exactly like a girl >->

I mentioned Opaque Dreams several pages back, but I think it needs mentioning again :] It's a great comic that doesn't get the attention it deserves.

I'll also mention Timothy Green, a sweet, quirky little comic about a sea turtle. Full color and cute, pretty art.

Those two are nice.

Wish I knew some good ones. Was going to recommend Last Place, but now that doesn't really count any more, does it?

Yeah I just found Timeloss last night. It really looks awesome. Definitely something to keep up with.

Also I don't know if it's been mentioned but recently I've been enjoying The Carriers. It's only got sixteen pages so far but they're all really good.

Pff, I just checked this thread thinking 'I should mention Timeloss and The Carriers while I'm there' but you jerks beat me to it.

Nerdy Boy should be on your radars. It's a fun comic, and I enjoy the coloring. Plus it's updated regularly (almost every day) with two page updates. Go see!

RE: Nerdy Boy: Love the art. Totally not what I expected from a comic of that name! Although I only check out the most recent ten pages or so; hafta dig through the archives later. :)

A couple of my newly discovered faves, both fairly young comics but with loads of potential:

Traume Von Magpie : incredibly surreal, dream-inspired adventures of… uh, this bird-headed guy. Amazing B & W art, IMHO.

The Optimist: Totally different from anything I've seen on DD; done in watercolors, and the story reminds me of something out of Dostoevsky.

Totally agree on Traume Von Magpie. Excellently surreal with art that reminds of old political cartoons during WWII. Not the norm in comics which quite refreshing.

one that's new with 10 pages is The People That Melt in The Rain the story is whimsical and the art beautiful. The story reminds of childrens book.

Another to add to your lists: Animosity Sonata

It's pretty young (only 13 pages), but it's creepy and beautiful - and dialogue-less at the moment. Go see.

Also, are you reading Kuro Shouri yet? There's a huge archive, but I promise it will go quickly.

I don't know if Shades counts as unnoticed, but it's a very exciting, character-driven comic.
Hey, thanks, Kristen. I doubt if Shades qualifies as "unnoticed" - we were even featured way back in 2007!

It could always do with more readers, though, so perhaps we can settle for "under appreciated"! ;-) Thanks for thinking of us!

Yeah, I don't think I qualify as unnoticed either… but thanks for the nod. :)

Has someone already said Endstone? It's got this pulp, old-school charm to it, and amazing traditional inking style. (He posted a couple drawings in the "superhero fanart" thread that blew my mind, too.)
