Twin Cities, MN, here. We get 6 months of winter and super humid summer. All in all, around 2 months a year of decent weather. Small price to pay to be able to dwell among the Vikes.

I'm from a little town at the very southwestern tip of Indiana, USA. My collaborator for our comic is in Kansas. And I, personally, would rather be in the French Quarter, New Orleans.

New york, queens, woodside.

I was waiting for someone else to be from the city. I'm like, ten minutes from you in Long Island City. I love confusing people by explaining how New York City is actually five boroughs, and you can live somewhere other than Manhattan and still be in NYC.

Originally from Tennessee, went to college in Memphis, and everytime I tell someone here that they say, 'How'd you lose your accent?' And the answer, of course, is that I never had one in the first place. I knew I'd truly become acclimated when I heard some tourists in Herald Square and I was like, 'Man, they have really ugly accents…' then I realized they were from Georgia. :nervous: I'm surprised, though, how many Southerners there are on DD! I had no idea! And all y'all from Texas… my dad lives there, so it's like a second home. How I long for the dry, southwest Texas heat when New York feels like a sumo wrestlers armpit.

We Georgians do not have an ugly accent! We just have an interesting way of talkin is all. Sides, northerners talk way too fast fer our likin so we make fun of ya'll. ha! Speed demons!
Anyways, I actually live in a place called The Woodlands, Texas. Quite an unoriginal name to give that place, even if it is woody there. Very woody (can't find a place unless you know where it is). My address has more wood in it than any other place I know of.
I used to live in GA, though and now I go to visit every now and then.

Though, I do admit that some Georgians are a bit..stupid. Had someone actually ask me if I was english cause I actually enunciated (sp) my words. Now I just don't care and mess around with the english language whenever I can.
