Man, you guys start early! It's like 5.22 in the afternoon on Christmas day here, but for most US DD people it's still early, early in the morning.

I was up at 10 to 5 this morning! Unfortunately for my dad I never outgrew the "waking up as early as possible christmas morning" thing.

I got:
- a new tablet(to replace my broken one, plus it's much better)
- The Commissar Vanishes
- a fountain pen
- a new beret(I lost the one I got last year almost immediately, so I got a second chance this year)
- a new wallet
- The Spirit
- a Seinfeld trivia game
- a couple pins
- various chocolates
- two travel mugs(both parents got me different ones, both really cool, haha)
- a spoon/fork/knife thing

I also got a few things in the weeks before Christmas:
- a new iPod touch
- my bunny : )
- an 8-foot tall cat tree

Good haul this year! I got pretty much everything I asked for. : )

Edit: My older sister just came by with Scott Pilgrim on DVD. : D

Some awesome gifts so far!

I received quite a few clothes this year that will make me look professional finally (instead of t-shirts), as well as Fallout: New Vegas and 999 for the DS. Good year this year!

One of the things I got was a Darth Vader toy with a removeable helmet, which I've wanted for a while. It comes with "bonus weapons" which I thought was odd. They're guns. The bonus weapons for Darth Vader are pistols, a machine gun, and a shotgun.

Bamboo tablet
Doctor Who: Lost in Time (collection of rare episodes)
Georgy Girl
Mutiny on the Bounty
Re-Animator (with pen and pin)
Stella, Season 1
Chocolat
Metropolis, latest restored edition
Lots of hair and bath supplies
Indian Cookbook
Book on India
Mini Tajine (as you can tell, I am incredibly fond of India)
Scarf, hat…

I'll be honest, the most exciting ones for me were Doctor Who (Troughtoun=#1…not first, but best) and the Bamboo Tablet.

A chocolate reindeer, two boxes of praline seashells, an Avatar fleece blanket and 3D Annual 2011, section of film reel from Jurassic Park, 1 TB portable hard drive, teddy bear that reads "Twas The Night Before Christmas", new pair of slippers, Linkin Park - A Thousand Suns, Fallout: New Vegas, Sony Ericsson GreenHeart Elm mobile phone,RC Tarantula, £30, Shrek Forever After, Donkey's Christmas Shrektacular and a pair of Spongebob Squarepants socks… A joke from my parents after the fiasco last year with my SBSP flying V ukulele.

My mum has a habit of mixing up memories of what I like with what I hate. And I'm too damn honest. So she won't forget that Spongebob makes my bones shrivel up in hate.

The ukulele was something I wanted for years. And it still has a nice shape. I already have the materials. So I've been working on the re-designs for the past year.

I got invited round to spend the day with a friend's family. It was really nice of them and I think we all had a good time. I kept getting scolded for trying to do dishes whenever there was downtime. The best part was that for christmas dinner (which was filled with many delicious things), the main meat was GOOSE! I never had goose before but I was just kind of amazed that you can still get them. It seemed wonderfully old-fashioned. :]

You would not believe the amount of fat that came off that bird though. At least there was a lot of it to help make goose-fat roast potatoes.

I got some computer upgrades, mostly for gaming, and a whole box full of movies - VHS and DVDs. Since I rarely get summoned by the family for get-togethers, I spent most of my vacation at home. Not as lonely or as bad as it sounds. xD

Some folks loaned me a couple of heaters when I told them the one in the attic broke down, so that was nice of them. No theatrics or anything special, I'd say a step up from the previous years.

My cousin's cousin and her family came around for christmas dinner last night. Her three kids are awesome. So it's always great having them over.

They were supposed to arrive earlier than they did. But our pipes froze and we didn't have any running water upstairs.

My dad took the front of the bath off to try and defrost everything with a hairdryer… But it got in the way of my room. So he propped it up against the wall, it fell over and knocked over the carrier bag with my cricket container inside. Sending it crashing down a fleight of stairs to a hard stone floor below.
The place where it landed still kinda smells of oats, stale popcorn and calcium dust.

He then chucked the whole load from inside the bag straight into my bearded dragon's terrarium, broken pieces and all.

My cousin's supposed to be coming over tonight. The one that we haven't seen for nearly two years due to her severe depression. So I'm looking forward to that as well. A lot has happened since we last met her.

BTW, Machinae trumps Britney! Lol.

Food.
So much food I am bursting… I feel fricken full
( -_- )

And some other stuff…
One thing was the complete DVD set of Black Books. It comes with a lovely stainless steel corkscrew and mettle cork thingo.

Too bad every time I drank wine recently I've ended up with a massive headache. :(
That might just be this fricken hot stinking weather though, I dunno.

+ A new Xbox 360 (4gb Slim model with Kinect)
+ Family Guy: It's a Trap!
+ 60gb Xbox 360 Hard drive (older model, doesn't work with my new one)
+ A Best Buy USB multi-port hub with $20 gift card (main connector was practically SMASHED)
+ $517/$550 ($150 in Gift Cards, including that $20 gift card previously mentioned, $33 used for a family gift from the kids in the entire group family to the parents)

Future investments of 2011:
+ Desk lamp (for the comic)
+ figma Black Gold Saw (for collection and the comic)
+ Robot Damashii Gundam 00 (for collection and the comic)
+ Xbox 360 250gb Hard Drive (slim model)
+ Non-Drivers Identification (State ID)

I'm disappointed that the USB was smashed. And my cousin didn't even know about it too…

"Happy Christmas Mr. Scrooge in keeping with the season."

I worked. Being the security guard in a senior building I have to let in the three spirits during the night and then in the morning have to buzz in the little boy with the turkey as big as he is…

I got a big stack of money, donations made in my name to the World Wildlife fund (I adopted a wolf and a Snow leopard) and the DVD set of the Pacific Miniseries.

And my neice and her husband gave the wife and I a kiwi stuffed animal.
