I noticed it and then I posted my first post about it. So ….  I can't tell you the previous posts are gone from under this stupid box.
*Edit 26th.
Also…like I said above. I couldn't see previous posts when I made this one.

OK, it looks like it was done on purpose. Looks like it was a quick thing to try and make the overall page colors darker… I dunno, it looks kind of out of place to me, and it's the yellow which is the problem anyway. :/ I don't really feel like I can bug them about it though.

I don't know if it's just me, but I'm trying to submit a page. The live date is 11/8/11. For some reason, after I click, "Save page", it gives me a connection error and makes me restart my work. I only get that error when I try to submit a page, but not for anywhere else on DrunkDuck.

@ Darwin- I'll fix them now :)

@ Kaji- I dunno what that could be… try logging out and logging back in or try logging in with a different browser and see if that will work?
In these sorts of situations when you have to re-submit stuff to malfunctioning online forms like this it's best to save your work in a text file on your desktop so you can easily copy and paste it again into the fields when needed.

I'm trying to post a page in my comic, but it doesn't upload. It directly stops in a few seconds. the file is smaller than 20 mb. Please tell me what the file type must be, the size of the picture. And what ever else I must know.

That 20 MB thing is just for if you were uploading multiple pages. Individual pages should really be less that 1 meg :)
The format is jpg, png, or gif.

Change it as much as you like :)
You can't stay 41 forever, although that'd probably be a pretty sweet deal… ;)

I've saved your award string in the admin forum so recreting them is only a simple matter of copy and pasting ^_^

Well If I wanted to be an age forever it would not be 41 (perhaps 30 - old enough to know better still young enough to have some fun…WTH am I saying, I have fun now!)~  In fact Manana is my Bday…XD

Thanks for reminding me! LMAO!

Newcomer here, so I have no clue what's been reported in terms of bugs and layout issues. I have read through a good few pages, but hey, I figure this bears repeating.
Illogical hierarchy when uploading many pages, or any for that matter. Having the live date define which order the comics should be in would make more sense than the order of uploads. The way the archives are organised seem way too cumbersome for it to be an efficient right now.

The live date would seem logical, but because of the nature of archives (people going in and adding new pages earlier in their comic), that just wouldn't work. And we don't allow back-dating pages, things have to have their real date, so you couldn't scam it in that way either.

They ARE cumbersome though, that's true. Hopefully when Wowio gets back to a better funding situation that can be one of the areas that's adressed :)

Ok, so basically delete what little I´ve uploaded so far, and do it again, in order. Only a little annoying, but hey, if that´s the name of the game. Don´t see why anyone would want to "scam" anything in terms of manipulating the order, and how backdating can mess up the archives, but then I know jack-all about how this place works, yet.
Thank you for setting it straight. I´ll be over here, organising my files for a while. ^__^

There is a way to rearrange your archive though- the up and down arrows. You don't have to delete your work! :)

Although it IS a pain to use them.
What I meant by "scamming" was giving false backdated dates. Not deliberate deception.

Just FYI there is currently a bug where you can only use the up-down arrows on the current page's list. So if the page you want to move down is already on the bottom of the list, you can't move it down the list further (onto the next page). Stupid. :[

Thanks for the heads up, but yeaaaaaah, them buttons. They might work for most, but when I´m uploading over 100 strips for two series it´s kinda not in my interest to click a button and wait 10 seconds while the server refreshes just to move one strip one slot up or down. Don´t worry though, I haven´t uploaded that many, so it´s not much of a hazzle. :9

I've got a brand-new problem. How exciting!

I can't post by just clicking reply any more. If I do, I'm not able to select the text box. I have to select "quote" on someone else's post and then delete everything they said.

Using Opera. But nevermind, it suddenly started working again. Odd, probably an issue on my end.

Hi, I've tried posting a comic today, and all I've got was a big long error page starting with…
KeyError at /comics/add_page/18785/
u'\xfd'
I've tried posting the comic in both firefox and chrome, and both gave me an identical message.
Let me know if you'd like the whole page or any particular information from it.

That may only be a temporary thing. Are you still having the same issue now?

Posted at

I still was, but I figured it out, and it is probably my own fault. I had a slightly unusual character in my file name. It was a ý. I changed it to just a regular y and it uploaded just fine.
Lesson learned: don't put obscure characters in my file names for silly reasons. >_<
Thanks for listening, anyway. ^_^

Oh, OK, that's an important bit of info and will help in troubleshooting in future, so thanks very much for working that one out! :)
