not sureif anyone took note of this porblem with the page organization menu. im on google chrome.

as u can see the "comic page 145" is stuck on page 1. its impossible to move it to page 2. It is essentially stuck on page 1 like an island and theres no way to move them to different pages. The top of the list is the same way. just wanted to put that out there. I have a few fillers that I like to plop down and then shift to the end of the chapter when I'm done but now i can't and its kinda stuck on random locations.

My animated .gif pages are no longer animated… It just shows only the first frame.
Mentioned this in a couple of other places, but User Control Panel –> Comics Assisted by (me) –> Edit –> Pages –> (select any page) Edit
… is not working. Yesterday it lead to 502 Bad Gateway. Today it leads to a long page of code that starts with
"NameError at /comics/edit_page/5343167/
global name 'comic' is not defined"

and ends with
"You're seeing this error because you have DEBUG = True in your
Django settings file. Change that to False, and Django will
display a standard 500 page."

They converted everything to Jpeg. So yeah no animated comics, which is one of th ethings that only webcomics can do.

^ but did any of you have a comic full of swf's?
…I didn't think so. :P
And I think the "recently update" system is messed up because it says that a comic in which all I did was edit the comic's info and yet it thinks that it updated.
also, harkovast keeps rising up there even though it has only gotten a bunch of comments, not a billion pages.

I wanted to pop back in here and say "Thanks" for taking a look at and then fixing the things I mentioned (Esp. Fave lists defaulting open.) I immediately noticed the changes when I got on today.  I wasn't sure you were able to get to them because I didn't see a response and my post got buried pretty quickly.
I will let you know that I am  running Firefox and I noted also that the threads in the forum are properly formated in my browser.  (BTW I am not going to grab chrome just because you say so…Isa like my firefox thanks.)  I will check the formatting of the images/text on the comic pages when I can get back in them.
On my MCP (UCP?) I notice that that is also working properly (IE displaying images/text properly.  Images locker still won't let me upload anything. So that's still on the list!
The problems of not being able to view the comics have come back however, (I was able to get in them yesterday and customize, but I wanted to look at the fave lists for the comics to be sure they were similarly fixed.)  It gives me a "Type error message"
Okay that's my input for today!

I accidentally deleted a comic of mine, but I am unable to rebuild it because every time I try to enter the title using the "create" feature I get that the name still exists. I am unsure if this is a bug or not.

 Save it for the Judge.

And yeah, it's happening on IE 8 and Chrome (latest so…whatever the number is…). not too often though. just now and then.

@HPKOMIC: that used to randomly happen when we had the old site. sometimes it'd let you and then sometimes it wouldn't.
I can't complain, I made and deleted the same comic about…five times…(speaking of which…might revive that…)

I'll post a more detailed update tomorrow in the news, but the following should be fixed now:

Profile comments were re-imported and should be correct
Users over 18 should be able to view 'A' rated comics
Login names are no longer case sensitive
drunkduck.com/community now leads to the forums
PQ's work, but we still need to re-import old ones

You're probably aware of this, but …
Can no longer view ANY comic page on any browser (Safari, Firefox and Chrome all give the same error) on a Mac (OS 10.5.8).  The error is very long (too long to post here), but the first lines are …

TypeError at /Utterly_Rucked/
unsupported operand type(s) for -: 'datetime.date' and 'NoneType'

I don't know if this has already been said because I don't have time to trudge through this thread, but I cannot edit anything on my webcomic page.  I change things but when I press save then cancel the changed don't hold.  Also, there is no way for me to change the background of my page.
I use a Mac, latest edition OS, Safari.
I don't want to leave this site, but I can't use it if simple function like these don't work. D:

I had those problems too until I tried running the site on Google Chrome. You might give that a try?

Thanks, that seems to have solved the problem.  They should look into how all the controls work on Safari because things are a little wonky there.
