Midge/Lit:
If Spudsy does not come up with anything by the end of the week, I will put together a cleaner sketch of the character with colour references based on his designs.

Al:
Thanks for the support on your crossoverlords site. Much appreciated.

I agree with lit; having some reference of the vegetation on this island should increase coherence between artists immensely.

EDIT: I can't seem to find the designs for the HU commander Qsama mentioned; I won't have to draw her but I'd still be interested :-)

What about the sphere?
we could use some kind of template for that.

Lit wanted some ref material. I googled up a bunch of pics of rainforests a while ago, so here you go:

still no colored pic of Ty or a schematic of the Sphere.
For those who have finished their pages did they draw the sphere and how did they render it? Just asking just so we can a bit of consistency.

Thanks for the ref fitz, and I've got the Incredibles on DVD so it shouldn't be too hard to do some freeze frames for..inspiration : P. a design for the sphere controls would be nice, even a description would be ok.

So how long do you think it'll be until I have to have my pages in? I wanted to be able to do them nice and early to avoid deadline sweating and rushing..but I haven't had any of the designs so I haven't even started… : /. I thought I still had some time but the comet kid teaser makes me less sure

Lit:

You still have time, the teaser was for two reasons. 1) to remind people that HU2 is on the way and 2) to keep drawing attention to the site for people to join HU3

There are 3 more teasers to go and plenty of time.

As for the sphere, it is a chrome ball (seamless). When plot twist finds one of these almost invisble seams and removes a panel, underneath it is a standard collection of circuits and wires. There is no control panel, he is more hot wiring it, if that makes sense.

Hope this helps. I will try my best to sketch TY this week!!

Just a heads up for where we are with this comic.

QSAMA has completed his pages which I will need to colour.

HERO still has all his pages outstanding

LITERACYSUKS1 has completed all but one of his pages

THEMIDGE28 is up next after Lit.

All the others are still to be done but no urgency yet.

HU2 will start May 10th and it would be good to have as many pages done as possible to avoid lengthy update gaps…but as most of my comics ALWAYS have lenghty update gaps…it's no big deal!

Cheers

Will you update the pages as you get them, or do you aim for a certain schedule? Maybe we should update weekly as long as there are still pages missing…? I don't know how fast I can do them myself, but of course I'll try to do them ASAP.

I think weekly is too long for this book. It would make the HU2 last nearly half a year which i think it too much.

I will probably see how how many pages I have at the time. As it stands now Pages 1-9 are done.
