For once, I'm actually happy on not having the material things one normally gets on their birthday. True, I probably could've used some money, a tablet, new monitor and stuff, but I felt quite pleased with all the positive responses I got for turning 24. Then again, maybe I'm just getting old. xD
Anyone ever had a birthday like that? Or something like it?
My comic happened to wrap up today too. Talk about perfect timing, but that's beside the point.
Technically my birthday's done, but it's still 10:50 over here, so I got another hour to dance in awesome Back to the Future parts II and III expanded score in the mean time. :V Hurr hurr.

Frankly, I'm halfway content if anyone even acknowledges mine anymore other than my mother. They know what it is too, that's what gets me.

Tired? That's not because you're getting old man. When I was a teen that was probably when I was most tired in my whole life! Needed SOOOOOOOO much sleep back then :(

What you need is a better diet, more sleep and more exercise ;)

Anyway, I don't like getting birthdays gifts too much anymore… Unless it's food or DVDs or maybe a good CD. Definitely make exceptions for that sort of thing any time! But for the rest people don't really know the sort of stuff I need or like and so much of my likes or needs are specialised, expensive and/or technical (like special sorts of antique hats, fabrics, buttons a certain size and material, specific computer gear etc) so it's better if I get them myself.

So yeah, birthdays without gifts aren't bad.
