Adult Duck is a banner exchange for adult webcomics on The Duck. The concept is simple enough. You host a banner for somebody else's adult webcomic for a week, and somebody else is hosting your banner for a week. Every Sunday, the banners shuffle. That way, everyone gets a chance to be hosted on every participating adult site on the duck, and gets exposure to a larger reading audience.

It may be ambitious, but it's my goal to eventually have every currently updating adult site on the druck participating in the banner exchange. And that starts with you!

Here's all you need to do in order to take part:

1) Make a banner, and post it in this thread. It has to be no more than 150 pixels across. Some examples:

*If you're not able to make a banner, or don't have time to, just let me know and I can make one for you.

**In addition to posting your banner in this thread, you may PQ it to me, or email me at contact.cid.abc@gmail.com

***You can change your banner at any time by posting a new one here

2) Include the url for your comic, or the page of your comic you would like to link to.

And that's all there is to it! You'll receive a PQ every Sunday instructing you which banner and link you should post for that week. Wash, rinse, repeat. Easy as cheesecake, without the constipation.

Feel free to post any thoughts or questions in this thread, or start a new thread for it, if you'd like. Thanks for taking the time to read and consider this proposal!

***EDIT: Instead of sending out PQs, I think what I'm going to do is just post who should run what banner in a separate thread here. Doing anything throug PQ here is destined for failure! So pretty much the thing will run on an honor system. You check in on the Banner Exchange thread every week and then swap out banners if you're able to. If not, no biggee! I'll be getting that thread set up sometime in the next couple of days, when I find some more time!

And no, the Adult Duck logo is not required for your banner! If you'd like me to add it to yours or make your own logo, you can, but that's entirely up to you!

This is a great idea.   Now, if only I could get motivated to make a banner.

It'll probably be next week before we actually start swapping banners. I still need some time to get the word out. And of course I could always make a banner for you if you'd like!

I'm thinking next Sunday. Haven't had time to sit down and think it all out yet, but instead of sending out PQs, there's just going to be a thread here where every week I'll post who should run what banner. It'll pretty much be run on an honor system… because I'm too lazy to check in on people!

So, six people participating, already! Awesome! Still waiting to hear back from a lot of people, though (DD's PQ system is the pits!)

I figured the current part of the comic is pretty boring, and it's too long a story to send people to the beginning, so I figured at least that scene is an "attention grabber."

I notice that, so far, everyone has included the "Adult Duck" logo into their banner. I know you said we didn't have to but I think it would be good if we all did, kind of a unifying thing, community… that kind of shit. (Ain't I erudite!)

I sent out a ton of PQs like four days ago now, and so far everybody who's opened them has sent in a banner… but unfortunately the vast majority of the PQs still haven't even been opened. So this afternoon when I have the time, I'll go around to people's comics pages and give them a heads up that I sent them a PQ. No time at the moment, cuz I gotta run!

Great! Thanks Dumok!

I should modify that earlier statement though. So far, everybody but a couple of people who read the email have submitted a banner.

Now, that would be quite an honor having an El Cid created banner for this!!!   Thank you.  I might still come up with one if I can get motivated.

El Cid has anticipated that problem. There is a second thread in this forum that explains it so clearly that even an aging techno coward can follow it… I know this because I did!
I also need to thank "The Chief" for showing me how to include pictures in my posts - I have wanted to do that for ages but didn't have a scooby.
Edit: Oh, and I can also confirm that Personal Quacks do not alert you when you have a message… dragonrider sent me one on October 13 that I didn't see until a couple days ago. Guy must have thought I was well rude!
