My current avatar Is Ace Frehley from KISS. (I tried typing Kiss, but it looked stupid.) I picked this one mainly because you usually don't see pics of "Makeup-Era" KISS with short hair. This photo was taken around the time of their disasterous "Songs From The Elder" album.
As for changing avatars, I get bored easily. I'm going to try to keep them "ace themed" (Or at least KISS themed) as long as possible though. Both because I like Ace and for recognition purposes. (I'll probably be posting in the forums more.)
Why do I like Ace? Well, not every Ace Frehley song is a winner, but there are some real gems. I also think he's one of the most under-rated guitarists in rock history and I like underdogs… (Except for the cartoon "Underdog", I've never really been a fan of that show.)

Randal, I always preferred Kiss with the long hair… The short look is too close to Tim Curry's Frankenfurter. :)
Coveinant, it looks like the back lower corner of a late 90's "blueberry" iMac. Like a camera phone pic of one.
