Hopefully it's not too high, though my coworkers aren't helping because they think it's going to be a couple miles high…
I don't think the height matters too much… it's the force behind it that counts. Anyway, head for high ground!

Luckily I live on high ground. Nearly smack in the middle of the northern part of the island. Hopefully the force will somehow be less, though the fact that I'm right next to the Marianas Trench isn't gonna help much…

hawaii is expecting it to be 15 ft or so high. They should have been hit by the first one a couple hours ago, but the news has nothing.

they've lowered it to 8ft now.

I knew someone who was in Chile. Apparently they're okay.

1337 is very sick now. Not helping with the whole singing and dancing thing in Annie. (for those who don't follow my multiple posts groaning about my life, my school is doing the play and I'm Rooster)

Just heard on the news. Apparently the waves that reached Hawaii were only 3 feet high. And everyone feels relieved (including myself). I really appreciate that warning system that was setup in cases like these. It may be mostly misses, but better misses than having no warning at all. :)

Now onto my next problem…

Playing The Sims 3, I just fired two male "maids". The third maid I hired is… a bombshell. So she's slightly insane (understatement). Gotta figure out if my Sim should go for her or should I fire her too…

why am i not drawing instead? where is my motivation

RaAAAarrRrggHHhHh!!! I didn't get any major roles in the school play! Self-evaluation-wise I had one of the best auditions but I'm pretty new at my school and the people that did get leads are in drama and are known to be good actors and/or singers. I am very disappointed.

I'm sort of bored right now too, mainly because I can't doing anything really.
I've had a migraine since yesterday because of this oppressive heat, luckily it's currently being controlled by 4 hourly intakes of strong pills… It's too hot to work on my art. I don't like watching TV, don't want to watch a DVD, too hot to work on anything else either. I could read I suppose?

Part of the issue with the migraine was that I was watching South Pacific on the big TV yesterday afternoon. Funny that the good TV and DVD player makes it look as if it was shot with an HD digital camera last week sometime… What encouraged my migraine was the horrible colour changes they had during the dreamy song sequences- from garish pink, to nightmare blue, jaundice yellows etc. and then back to normal again Ugh!
Plus, that film is as gay, as gay, as gay… Those sailor outfits… o_O
The music was great though; "I'm gonna wash that man right out of my hair…" :)

Wow… just read the Wiki entry on the Bratz doll line. Apparently Mattel wants to keep their lead and is trying to take it over for themselves. Well… that's what I'm getting from the article. Makes me wonder…

What if I develop a game that turns out to be a runaway hit? And then some big software company such as I.D., Microsoft, EA, etc… sues me and says I was employed with them with them while I developed the game? And they were able to produce "evidence" that shows I was working for them even though I have never worked for them? I'm pretty sure my tax records would blow them out of the water unless they've also bribed the right people in the right places… Not the same case as the owner of Bratz since he actually worked for Mattel but still…

Oh, great… something tells me I'm slowly losing my mind… O_O

edit: okay… calmed down a bit. Maybe I'll go create Sims 3 versions of certain Mass Effect 2 characters and put them all in a house just to see what happens…

I feel like just talking to someone. I don't know who but just having a random conversation with them. It's weird…

I need to do a lab report right now on electromagnets but I can't think of any words that don't sound like "buyable" bulllcrap.

Finally finished my page for bocaj's The Traveling Assist but I need to darken it…ink it…and fix it on the computer. Reminds me of my own comic I should be doing. It has been a week, I have gotten no collateral pages done and only have two to release, one of them where I only like half of it. Artist's/Writer's block sucks.

Meanwhile, Rick James...

Well, since tomorrow I'll be offline for an unspecified amount of time. Our electrical installation is getting so bad that it has to be replaced NOW! which means no net or electricity for AT LEAST couple of days, if not a week or two…

I hope my buffer of 6 pages (3 weeks) is large enough, but just in case I'm trying to get another two pager or something like that finished today. Maybe I should also recolor an older finished comic too (so that it looks better), that'd give me another week and a half. Meanwhile I'll focus on pencils for the next larger story.

So yeah, see you soon, hopefully :D

My buffer right now can hold me over until June, yet I still freak out if I let it go below 25 pages. I'm neurotic. My mom came in and saw all my unpublished comics on my desktop and told me to go outside. I should be doing my paper on designer babies but I chose to do my 26th comic instead. :I

Me and my two best guy friends hung out yesterday for the first time in a while. I felt like Ferris, Sloane, and Cameron from Ferris Bueller's Day off. I want to be a teen 80s movie, FYI. Me and my one friend spotted these two people that we both used to be really good friends with until they became an obsessed couple and started getting into cutting. They followed us into Barnes and Noble, it was awkward.

Sorry to hear, but don't be too disappointed! At least you actually have the courage get up on stage, the most I can manage is stage crew. :)

She should call her business Dr Quatermass and the tit.

Canada VS. US. Best game ever. Better even than the '98 Stanley Cup. Worst ending ever. Total anti-climax after the third period when Parise scored the tying goal with 26 seconds left on the clock. Crosby's goal was such a lame shot and Miller was on such a good run. It just felt so lame a way to end such a brilliant game.

I'm finally moved into my new apartment. There are still a couple of things to put away. I finally have my own desk to do work at rather than a lapboard and an easy chair. Our new apartment is so much bigger. Last time we didn't even have room for a dining table, so we had to eat on the floor at the coffee table. I also have my cat now. She is being a pain cause she is adjusting to a new environment. She was yowling last night. She is also afraid of the bathroom. I'm concerned because she has barely eaten, hasn't drunk any of the water that I set up for her, and she hasn't used the litter box. (Luckily she hasn't used anything else in loo of the litter box.)

Ice hockey is the only winter sport I follow at all. If it does not involve the rules actively allowing intentional full-body contact like tackling, checking or out and out punching, it's not a sport. Without that it's just a game.

My situation has kinda reversed, compared with Niccea. On Friday I noticed an ad on the pin up wall at the local grocery store, about a family that was looking for a house to rent. Since I've been looking for tenants for ages now, I decided to offer them my place. The problem was they needed the place NOW. Since the market is dreadfully slow at the moment and I'm not likely to sell or find other tenants for a good long time, I decided to accept and spent the weekend haphazardly throwing stuff into boxes.

Until I can find a cheap place (which should be fairly easy, seeing as the whole market is currently saturated with desperate people) I'm crashing in the basement of the house, where I'm keeping all my stuff. The UNHEATED basement btw.

P.S. Yeah. I noticed it myself. My life has been pretty interesting lately. Annoying but interesting.

No. Just no. That was an amazingly played game on both sides. There was luck in everyone of those shots like there always is, but that was Parise being on the ball enough to take advantage of Luongo's screw up as much as anything else if not more. Miller fully deserved MVP of the games for the amazing saves he made. The Canadian defense was just as strong as the US offense is all.

Wow… another weird set of thoughts brought on by near sleepiness… thanks to watching a bit too much MAZINKAISER, VOLTES V, and Titan Maximum preview vids on my XB360 I had that superhero dream again…

I found myself trying to get my car customized at a Los Angeles garage. Except it wasn't a garage, it was a secret laboratory. I got dragged into the garage and when I came out I found I had the ability to transform into a giant Super Robot with all the standard Super Robot weapons and then some… (like the Super Rocket Punch Massacre… think of all those missiles in Robotech as Rocket Punches…)…

So I end up naming myself Souped-Up Man fighting an evil pink/spikey haired mecha piloting supervillainess and her pet fighting monkey… as well as all their evil giant robot monsters…

Maybe I should see a doctor about my state of mind??? O_O
