On Negligence, Some girls don't like to have their names shortened in a specific way. I won't call her the same way this guy did.

@Billy Learns to Rock - this must have been the longest time delay before anything ever happened (due to your hiatus that I had to delete it from my favs list).

Anyway congrats on your return. Bottom left panel looks like the dude just splatt in a pool of blood or something.

MAG-ISA
- blood gets spilled. During the "raw exercise of power"

@ MAG-ISA - Someone really likes their pain on the path to power. Reminds me of Robin Williams as the Genie in Disney's Aladdin: "Don't pay attention to him! One too many hits from the snake!" lol!

The writing is very interesting, if masochistic…but I think that's the point. The mood is built quite effectively. You really believe our protagonist is enjoying being beaten to a pulp!

@ Engine - Now THAT'S a close shave! I'm not sure I'd agree to get a knife shave from a guy with that many facial scars! ^_^

Mighty Dreadful Multi-Colored Shapeshifting Warriors updates today with a double-shot! That's right – two pages, back to back (or top to bottom in this case). Kendra finishes her tale, just in time for some bad company to come a-callin'!

Not to be missed!!

Mighty Dreadful Multi-Colored Shapeshifting Warriors
Wow, that is a very long title for a comic… I am glad I came to this thread, I got to see good art made with pencils. Good to learn a little about making shades of gray.

This time Freakenburg has a new character, Dirty Mary, and a little revelation about Kasumi…

Gotta go, see ya.

Posted at

Freakenburg: Your art style is very neat and tidy looking, also, great use of expressions!

Last Of The Wilds just updated, and Coryn is taking a look at those footprints…

Posted at

The Last of the Wilds: I should say that it shouldn't be difficult to track them at all! Some good change ups here. ;)

@$$hole!: Less talk, more booze

Juvies - if you're a fan of juvenile humour then this update should get you chuckling.

The Chronicles of Wyrden updates today with the last page of Chapter Six.

The Chronicles of Wyrden: I can't tell if the art is digital or hand-made, it is that good. I'm favoriting it so I can keep up.

——-

Today on Negligence: Jameel is moving.

Also, the fan art and filler page updated a lot over the weekend and today with three different T-shirt designs, including the ad for the Negligence animated pilot.

@Negligence: Hey, I used to live in that town! Then we moved. Oddly, the new town could also fit that description. Welcome to anytown, USA!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In Gelotology, we get to see the rewards of adopting animals in need. There's also a cameo (or, maybe two cameos).
You know, the one thing I don't like about this thread is it usually feels like I've seen every other comic that updates on Mondays like mine by now, but hark - Week Daze is a new face in my book. Very slick stuff, looks great!
Bulletproof is still hangin' out at the mall. A fat guy walks by. Everyone still thinks Shockwire has a secret crush on Atlas. Also, there's a palm tree. Actually, two palm trees. Yep.
I didn't realize that Bulletproof was finally updating again, so when I saw this, I immediately went back and read what I had missed. Seems I have some catching up to do.
Bulletproof's always stuck out among most other webcomics (to me anyway), because of the professional-style artwork, not to mention good use of solid blacks and whites in shading (after the comic switched from color to b&w, that is) as opposed to just bare linework.
———————————————————————–
After a month-long absence, All Saints has finally updated again. It seems that Deimos and Jeremy have stumbled upon a crime in progress, and you can expect an epic ass-beating in the next couple of pages.
Posted at
For All Saints: Some excellent grayscale with good use of color flecks. And the tone and atmosphere is so intense in just a few panels, that I am going to check this comic out asap!!
——
Wolf has updated today with some enhanced colour (gasp!) and also the beginning of an action sequence- fight over a semi-automatic gun, scythe-brandishing blonde crashing the scene, feds announced to be imminent, and general mayhem is beginning. Check it out!
@Wolf - Just bite off the fingers then throw a left knee into the gut. That could work.
———
MAG-ISA
- "I want you to hit me as hard as you can…"
Posted at
MAG-ISA: Very nice job with the poses. The background is also pretty well done. I'm diggin the dialogue too. Great over-all page, man! Keep up the good work!
————————————-
Ryu's Krew updates today with Draycho shooting. Sorry for the bad panel layout, I wasn't even thinking. But yes, it goes, left to right, then left to right.
Posted at
Ryu's Krew features lots of mindless, cathartic violence today—and come ON, a little violence never hurt anyone! *Grin*
In the CROSSOVERLORD, Smiley reveals why the current heroes have been spared since he's killed so many of their counterparts…at http://www.drunkduck.com/Crossoverlord/index.php?p=614336.—Al
Crossoverlord: I never could follow superhero crossovers because of the convoluted story elements, but I do admire the art, as always.
——-
Negligence: Today is a day that will probably live in infamy. This was the only comic I have ever done that I was afraid to submit unedited. However, I chose to run it because what is said is not said in a hateful context, but I'm still a little afraid of the backlash I'm possibly going to get. What am I talking about? Well, follow the link and find out.
Also, if there are any fans left, the fan art and filler page updated with two designs for the animated Drannik, and yes, the animated pilot is coming soon.
uh oh, he said the N word…
"ninja," of course.
The Optimist has updated! It's the penultimate page!! AND IT IS an artistically THROWBACKISH sort of page!!!!! :O check it out!
The Optimist. Always beautiful. The use of clay in the latest update looks fantastic - its integrated well and adds an appropriately surreal vibe.
Timeloss updates with an end to the current scene.
Posted at
Timeloss has some fantastic art! I can't comment on the story because I haven't read it… yet!
They should accept it in the generous spirit it is intended!
Would a womanrather know she has nice eyes, or a ncie rack? I rest my (sexist) case!
In Harkovast, Chen-Chen and Sir Muir are outraged by Shogun's brutal methods.
