Engine went out with a bang, and a totally awesome shot of a bad guy. Remind me to help you with digitial coloring someday.

In the CROSSOVERLORD, we find out where Smiley's prison is located—and escaping from THERE would be sheer suicide. That's at http://www.drunkduck.com/Crossoverlord/index.php?p=620533.—-Al

Crossoverlord: It's like if the Death Star were on Prozac.

EDIT: Someone slipped in while I was typing. Let me get to them.

Quest: Mind control always leads to bad things. Let's see where this goes.

Today on Negligence: it begins. The longest ever drone doom song, "Disciples of King Mutie", now begins. I know music in comics are a pet peeve to some people, but the music of this comic is easily replicable: put your ear near a fridge while it's running.

Negligence: Sweet. I just need to take my laptop into our kitchen and listen to my fridge while reading this strip :D

Lost Invisible- http://www.drunkduck.com/Lost_Invisible/

HAS RETURNED. Chapter Nine has been forcefully ended and Continues on to Chapter 10. This chapter deals with the emotions Redd and Katy once has as isolated invisibles. I'm aiming for regular daily updates this month (what a stretch) or at least until the end if this chapter. I can promise an update for tomorrow at least ;)

Manga angst! I love the panel layout, it enhances the paranoid theme here. The scratchily written lettering works nicely in that respect too, like loud, maddened shouts of protest. Great layout with the positioning of her head over the course of the page too, you really did that well. It's like she doesn't know where to turn, the page really conveys what she's feeling!

Pinky TA updated. Not much is going on really, but there's more images of sexy walking battle mecha in pretty colours, some horses, oxen, bullshit (literally), flies, and a fort on a hill!

Those are very snazzy giant robots!
If I was the guy with the ox and cart, I would be feeling really ripped off that I didn't get a bad ass robot.

As usual, I dig the bold and heavy inking. The red contrasts very nicely with the overall blue tint of the page. I see you've switched to hand lettering. It's a brave thing to try, since it is much easier to do it poorly than well. It looks good overall, but in the last speech bubble the letters look a little messy and running together. I went back a few pages and saw a bit of sloppy lettering there too. Work at keeping it more consistent, spacing the letters, and writing straight. I think it's worth the effort, because it does add character, but you need to put as much effort into making it neat as you do with your drawing.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today's page of Used Books is short but intense. It's a pretty significant moment/reveal/turn for a couple characters.
Eternity: I think she wants more than to "sort out the past" with him.
Negligence updated today with the return of M.S. Ojmiz, a character that has not been seen since comic #101.
Negligence puts me in mind of a kind of dysfunctional Peanuts (which is fun).
The Surrealist updated today with a peek inside a venerable, Cobblestone City institution.
http://www.drunkduck.com/The_Surrealist/
Also, we get to see the Surrealist and it's been a few pages since that has happened.
The buildings on this page are really nice, architecture is sadly one of those things I personally fall down on.
@ShadowsMyst - Your art is really clean and interesting! I like the detail on the mask. And that missing face really freaked me out o_o. I'll have to give your archives a read sometime! :D
Another successful attempt to make me laugh and choke. Pure brilliance, I say!
Seriously, though, I can't get enough of that waiter and the crazy cat lady.
In the meantime, horrible things are going to happen.
Doug N Exile: Even though you're updating with uncoloured pages, it's not actually a bad thing. It really shows off how good and clean your line art is!
ENGINE: Very nice character page, with close attention to shading and detail, even for B&W artwork.
I like the way you've done the lettering and speech bubble placement, especially in the second two panels. The purple outlines seemed a little strange, but they aren't too distracting. I'm guessing you do it that way to contrast with darker shading (whereas black outlines would disappear)?
This week's Gelotology update is related to genetics (sort of). I must brag that it's the first time I've ever tried to draw a chicken, and I think they turned out pretty nicely. I also want to nudge people to please stop by the DD Review Forum and leave a critique.
On QUEST, strong words coming out of a very confident young lady… she seems bitter but I like that.
