For me, it was when I was Queen at 5 and Alice in Wonderland at 27. You are never too old to love Halloween.

My favorite was when I was Mia Wallace from Pulp Fiction in 4th grade. None of my classmates knew who I was and all my classmates' parents were wondering how a nine year old even knew about Pulp Fiction.

King Arthur when I was in fifth grade. There had been an article in Boy's Life on making a suit of armor from cardboard. So using an illustrated edition of Knights of the Round Table and a pile of Bamburger's gift boxes, I made a full 13th century suit of plate mail.

Using the books I sourced to make the outfit I'd later do a report on Medieval siege warfare. Using that magaxine article in eighth grade I made a whole armory of swords for a student adaptation of the Hobbit.

Researching and building it all was more fun than wearing it. :)

We never did Halloween costumes in Australia, it's making its way here now though.
I've dressed up for Halloween on the Quackcast a few times. My fave was Gomez Addams from the Addams family :)

not the Raul Julia one either, but the original TV adaptation: John Astin

Thanks, man. :) Unfortunately I didn't have boots, just black shoes so there was nowhere to tuck.
