Really nice, atmouspheric art you've got there, Fitz. It's an interesting style… hardly ever showing the characters talking gives the impression that they're hidden away from human view like all mice.

The combination of realistic/photo backgrounds with sprites is very interesting. The plot seems compelling - I'll have to check it out.

I've read throughout the entire archive od Salt The Holly and it does keep you on the edge of your seat. Things do start slow but when it picks up… IT PICKS UP.

I wasn't really expected all that action throughout the comic but you'll be in for a surprise with the great plotline.

Electronic Revolutions: The Burnhams have updated if you want to look at the latest update.

Posted at

The latest page of Electronic Revolutions has good non-verbal communication in the panels. You can tell that the scene is tense, that the character feels defeated, and that there's more going on here than what's contained within this single page. It actually inspired me to click back a ways and learn more about the story. Nicely done!

###

In today's update, Trevor got something for Laura.

We're about to come full circle here, with the battle between the swordsman and Malukai reaching a climax! We're about to come back to the very first page of the comic, and then finish out.

Also, we hit 100 pages! Kick ass!

Your inking and artwork has definitely improved over time. I imagine it'll look fantastic after a hundred more pages if you keep it up at this rate.

American007 definitely stands out from other sprite comics because it doesn't just look like something just filled with Copy+Pasting; it's quite plain that there's effort being put into making it, especially with the later pages. Nice stuff!

Faust's smooth, beautiful greyscale art makes me jealous.

Uncouth was the latest update I could find from Eirikr comic list (a rather large list, I might add). And man, does it illustrate perfectly how stressful finals can be! Well done!

@$$hole!: What's this!?! Trevor got nothing for Laura!?!?

The shading in this comic is really nice. You also seem to do proportions pretty well.

American007: I gotta give it to ya, I usually dislike sprite comics, A LOT. But looking at yours, it seems to be the only one that's even worth reading. So great work. The photoshopping really makes it work. :]

Not sure which one I want to pick to compliment on, soo… Katch, I absolutely love your character designs, especially Mer! I also love the "sketchy" inking you use on RA and E20K. Very nice.

Professional work which allows you to just get sucked into the story. Excellent grasp of the style, and I love the tones!

Wolf is a consistently good comic, with a plot line that has many layers throughout. Tantz has a nack for making captivating drawings in black and white, and imaginative and descriptive drawings in color.

Interesting mix of photo backgrounds and pixel-sprite characters. Nicely done!

The End…for this story arc. ;)

A$$hole!: the character design for this comic is phenomenal! And a very heartwarming end to the recent story arc.

The Temple of a Thousand Tears: coloring is what stood out to me the most, especially the blood! Very high contrast tones and a great job on action scenes…kept me hooked!

I really like the coloring and shading in Revenge Addicts, you also seem to portray character's expressions well, which isn't easy to pull off. So, hats off for that. I like what I see so far.

American007 is facinating to me in that there is a level of pretty cool depth both in story mechanics and art direction to using the sprite based art as you do in this storyline. I actually dig it, and normally, I don't get into this kind of art.

PAgan: Wow! Very Nice Linework there! The action movement is handled VERY well. The use of space is masterful. In other words: "Dude, this rocks!"

Revenge Addict: I'll try to keep this short cause i usually write a friggin essay when i post in forums and this comic is gold! If not a gritty teenage monster type of gold, flowing art work with a gritty feel fit the story line perfectly and theres tonnes of content to get through
