Remember to turn your clocks back one hour when you go to bed*!

*Unless you aren't from America and don't participate in this antiquated and utterly useless tradition!

lol!

An extra hour of… insomnia and infomercials… Damn.

You know you love those old Dean Martin roasts, well now you can have those hours of golden TV on dvd!

Its the food dehydrator. The juices in foods instantly vanish after having the air and moisture all sucked out!

Congress is doing an energy conservation study that started this year. The bill was passed in 2005 (I'm 90% sure) to mess with the time change dates so see if we use more or less energy this way. The disclaimer was that they could change it back whenever they wanted.

It's a really annoying tradition for a purpose that is no longer necessary. Plus it really messes with your internal clock for about a week. Grar.

Here is the history behind Daylight Saving. Proposed by Ben Franklen to adjust for the difference in daylight caused by rotation of the earth. This did not take effect until after WWI when Congress passed a bill to radify this. This was mostly to save on candles, this tradition does have a purpose and I say sleep because I live in the Mid-West and this does not take effect till late.

I'm a walking encyclopedia, who needs Wikipedia if you're me. Also ask.com works better than google. (I only use these because teachers don't think I know this crap)

I hate you
Let's keep the hate out of General Discussion, okay?

Also, the extra hour is clearly for partying.
