The DuckCAM was an awesome idea Volte6 had, in which he set up a camera that took a picture automaticaly every 15 seconds. It was really cool for a week, then died horribly. But, like a Phoenix risen from the ashes, it has come back, in a whole new glory. It's offline right now, but once Volte6 gets back to work…

Also, this time, it isn't a camera. It's a webcam, and is LIVE, BABY, LIVE.

Why?

Sorry. I just don't see the benefit to the user. I'd rather see users mugs in action than the devs doing a little jig.

Because it's live, and no one wants to see a picture of darkness when Volte6 goes home.

And you can enjoy watching the darkness until you change the page and the thing collapses on you again. I know I'm not supposed to rant here but *groan* I want that thing to stay open.

Holy Crap I was in front of that camera for about 30 whole seconds yesterday…and you managed to get a screen cap. that's me saying "there are 8 people online"

Why do you want to watch, what is the benefit to the user? umm…'cause you can. I tend to be an attention craving dumb ass, and watching that is beneficial to all! Damn, now I have to actually comb my hair and change my clothes before I come into work!

I also got a screencap of Dylan, but it's so blurry it puts Bigfoot pictures to shame. :(

Pretty much. We'll pass the camera around regularly and you'll get a little slice of the behind the scenes.
