ZeroVX: Carl, you idiot! yaz was being chased by the Zacetees, not working with them!
*smacks Carl upside the head*
ZeroVX: And for the record, yaz is a GIRL.
*unsheaths swords*
ZeroVX: La luce santa, guar questo le sue lesioni.
*yaz's injuries heal*
ZeroVX: Now then, I think it's time we had a chat.
*walks into a building*
Lady: Welcome to the Registration Center. Thank you for coming without a fight. Please, have a complimentary cookie and a "I <3 Zac" button. *hands veritan a form* Would you please fill this out, and hand it to me when you're done?
Me:Ok. *takes form, fills it out, hands it back*
Lady: *looks over form, frowns* You have no powers or ablities whatsoever?
Me: No
Lady: Would you please follow me to the waiting room? We would like to confirm the information on this form.
We go down a hallway. The Lady opens a door.
Lady: This will only take a few hours.
Me: Gee, how nice. *walks into the room*
The room has cement walls, a cement floor, and a tiny window. A low ceiling adds to the idea of "Wow, I'm in a concrete coffin".
Me: What kind of waiting roo-
*Slam!*
*Locking noise*
Me: Crap.
The van parks in front of a square building. On its front is a neon sign that says, "Hench Co.". Cat jumps off the roof and hides beneath the van. Two henchmen get out. A third approaches.
Guy 3: Report.
Guy 1: The field experiment was a failure. The subject became unstable and had to be stopped.
Guy 2: It seems that without the proper ceremony, the subject's inherent powers and abilities will conflict with mod powers. The body rejects such powers, practically destroying itself and its surroundings.
Guy 3: And what of the subject?
Guy 2: The body has been brought for an autopsy.
Guy 1: We will now begin the search for another test subject.
Guy 3: No need. There was a message from the Registration Center. A possible test subject has been found. It is being confirmed now.
Zac thug 1: How should we know what happened?
ZeroVX: Don't act dumb. This mess is all part of your damned war. Who else would be responsible? Now talk.
Zac thug 2: Hasn't it clicked that maybe this was Riot's doing?
ZeroVX: You'd like us to think that, wouldn't you? But, I have considered that option. You just happened to be here at the moment.
*points swords at thugs, runes start to glow*
ZeroVX: Are you going to talk?
Zac thug 3: Kiss my-
*hauls thug over to pile of bodies*
ZeroVX: Do you see them? They were innocent people. For some of them, this could've been their first time here. Imagine what it must be like, to have their first day here be a living hell.
*places his face closer to the bodies*
ZeroVX: Do you want to count how many there are? It'll take a while, some of them are in pieces.
*thug shakes his head*
ZeroVX: I thought not.
*tosses thug back with others*
ZeroVX: Well? TALK!
Zac thug 1: We don't know! I swear! Look man, we're just doing our jobs!
Zac thug 2: Yeah! We're trying to-
ZeroVX: To what? Make this place safe? A better place for all? Well, tell me…
*points to ruins*
ZeroVX: DOES THIS LOOK LIKE A BETTER PLACE TO YOU?!!!
*thugs are silent*
ZeroVX: ……yaz.
*turns to yaz*
ZeroVX: Why did Cthulhu leave when you showed up?
*hauls thug over to pile of bodies*

Zac thug 1: We weren't responsible, but we may have an idea who is.
ZeroVX: I'm listening.

Zac thug 2: Well, anyway, we heard rumour that a masked, clawed man came through here the day before the attack.
ZeroVX: And does this masked guy have a name?
Zac thug 2: We think it's….Adagio.
ZeroVX: Adagio? But I thought he was with Riot!
Zac thug 1: True, he did deny us, but we didn't see him sign up with Riot.
ZeroVX: So he could be a rogue.
*grows confused*
ZeroVX: But why would he attack an entire forum?
Zac thug 2: When he refused us, he mentioned something about an "employer".
ZeroVX: …….thank you for the information.
*raises swords*
