Well, after seeing your avi…
Uhm… thief. I think it was quite obvious that I was taking on that portrayal, since I bothered to photoshop his helmet and background.

Actually, I'm surprised that you use it unaltered.

on that note.

"No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country."

Damn right I'm stealing that.

Oh, hey! I just noticed that militarized avatar theme that you guys got going on. Would be a darn shame not to participate in that.
I'm using a Zeph made avatar. We should all do that. Oh wait not everyone has a Zeph avatar. You have to have an inside connection to get one of these bad boys.

You mean that I didn't use it unaltered? Altering it implies more effort. Creating a personalized touch on a well known thing, so you can stake a genuine claim at it. Simply copy/pasting the picture of Patton is lazy :P

I've used unaltered pictures in the past but now that my photo editing skills have improved, I'm using every opportunity that I can get to play with them. Also, retaining the "For Sale" sign hogging guy means that people who use avatars to recognize people will not get mad at me for always switching my avi.

I just use pictures of me all the time. Probably unwise, but hey, I'm already using my real name!

sorry, sorry. I just thought that the pic of Patton was badass enough to use just resized and cropped.

How could I NOT sign up for this one?

Just let me dig out my WWII avatar…

Interesting bit of trivia; did you know American units were still segregated in WW2? Ever wondered why you don't see anything but white guys in WW2 games and movies? That's that's all there was. There was no civil right's movement for another decade or so, and all minorities were in separate battalions that saw relatively little action. Vietname and Korea on the other hand…

Out of curiosity guys, is it hard to understand me? I just got a PQ from someone where I was asked to explain what I was trying to say in one of my earlier post.

Nope. You're speaking perfect and clear English.
And perfect and clear Icelandic on occasion.
