@OzoneOcean-     Where have I been?  Well…
I've been slogging my way through a Japanese Strategy RPG… nearly literally…

Record of Agarest War

And I'm still stuck at the First Generation… -_-

And this text system for the forum isn't working like I want.. It apparently hates links…
Good luck with having your teeth pulled.  I hope they don't have to do anything too… drastic… like tying you to a post, tying a cable to your wisdom tooth and the other end to an M1 A1 Abrams Battle Tank…

Actually reminds me of my third wisdom tooth. I remember it hurt like hell, but I forgave the dentist because she was pretty… but mainly because she laid her busty chest area somewhat over my head XD.
Pretty sure that she was/is a newly graduated dentist…

When I was 19 i needed my first dental work, and first visit to the dentist for about five years at the time.  Safe to say I was rather nervious. So i registered at a dentist and the receptionist was stunning, the day of the appointment I go again and there was yet another stunning receptionist.  the gir who called me through again was absolutley stunning.  The dentist was similarly stunning although a little older.
So she gives me the anaethetic and starts drilling…..
BIG OUCH!  maybe she used too little or it's just me but the anaesthetic had little effect.
she spologised and gave me another injection,  then tries again.  still hrtsm just a little less.
after a few more attempts I finally stop feeling it.  she does the work and keeps apologising for the discomfort.  I didn't care, i was surrounded by beautiful women, I was happy enough.
Of course trying to chat any of them up afterwards was tricky as my klips were so numb I was dribbling.

Dear ozone and skool,
While we all appreciate the domestic style posts, please, please, please stop short of cybersex on the forum.  The mental images will be terrible.  :p
Hey do you remember when I called ozoneocean a big baby? Well

No just kidding. i don't want to give the internet any kind of impression that we are anything other than site admins. Perhaps we are being more jocular than usual in a sense of desperate hysteria? Soon we shall start looting. If one day you find that your comic suddenly belongs to me, too bad.

I just had a mental image of your little dancing monkey/mouse trying to lug around some purloined comics.

It's chilly today. and rainy. and the cafeteria has New England clam chowder. it's really good.

and yes, the radio play has been all pieced together, but I'm going through the last bit to see if volume levels are about right and that the transition between each segment has the right timing.

And then the cyberspaced sexpots, er, I mean, our esteemed admins should kick it around some to make sure that it sound right over their equipment.   I'm a-guessin.

BUT there are still 5 comic pages MIA – so it may be awhile before anyone besides the admins can hear it.

*sigh*
–edit

It's four now!

Thanks Genejoke.  I had another volunteer today, too.  You guys are Great!

So – one of the four MIA has provided me a "placeholder"  – a sketch that I can use while final exams take a priority – and then a finished page can come in later.

As for the other three, if I don't have something by Friday – placeholder or finished; I'll be taking up the new offers.

So how's the pain?  Has it faded yet?  Physical pain heals quickly, but perhaps the memory of that pain will linger for a lot longer.  Still, you can take comfort in the fact that they're out now and you shouldn't worry about them…

Well… back to Agarest War for me tonight.  I'm guessing I'm at the middle of the first Generation.  And I'm at that part in the game where you have to talk to one of the female protagonists of the first Generation.  Problem is… talking to one will lower the affection with the other two.  And the amount of affection you have with any of them will determine the stats for the resulting offspring…

And I hear the sequel to the game (still in Japan and no U.S. release date yet) has a "dark love" option.  Basically the protagonist takes a female protagonist as his wife (by force) to generate a child from a loveless marriage.  The resulting hero will apparently have VERY LOW STATS…  If I find myself playing that game I'll be sure to avoid that option as a main character with very low stats is not going to be easy to keep alive…

Oh – I don't know about that. If that were universally true, there would be no such thing as brothers or sisters, at least not one a year.

I wanted to like that post, wrong forum.
In other news I applied for a job yesterday , nothing new there I apply a lot.  However not only did I get a reply, but it wasn't a thanks but no thanks type of reply.  Even better they have asked me if i'm interested in applying for a more senior position than I originally went for.
Not that it means much yet, but it is a nice change from the usual response(or lack of) I get.

My husband's dog broke my computer again. This time it is the power input. I can turn it on, but I can't charge it. I just now backed up all my files on the computer and I am going to have to take it back into the shop. TT_TT

Speaking of repair shops, my broken monitor is going to one too.  According to the tech it could be a couple of busted capacitors, but he'll check to make sure.  $80 + parts to fix the thing, but half that if he can't fix the problem (diagnostic fee).  Maybe Ozone should bring those two dead office LCDs here if he can't find a shop in Australia to do the job.  hmm…,

If anything, at least my eyes will get a bit of relief. I've been told that CRT monitors (like the 14 inch one I'm using) causes cancer in the eyes. I don't know if that's true, but I'd rather not find out… it's bad enough that I have to watch my eyes for the rest of my life because at some point the retina will detach from the wall of my eye, giving me permanent blindness… I wish I wasn't born so badly nearsighted… T_T

I guess I'm talking about Record of Agarest War a bit too much, but the game is the most amusing I've played in quite some time.  Gotta feel sorry for the elf girl, though… She asks the male protagonist to join her at the lake to look for shooting stars reflected in the water.  According to a legend from her people's culture if a wish is made while seeing one reflected in the lake it will come true.  Right then she then realizes another part of that legend… if she sees one while with a male that person is destined to be her "soul mate".

And then they see one. Cue the girl becoming embarrassed and the male protagonist noticing…

"What's wrong?  You've gone red all the way to the tips of your ears!"

And the poor girl denying that anything is wrong…

@Niccea:  sorry to hear about the continuing PC probs.  Not that this is guaranteed to work, but you might consider setting time aside to inform the {#@$#QW} equipment of Who owns What, and What is expected of said subsidiary equipment.

it might just not know.

sometimes these F'n things think that They own Us.

All right then – anthropomorphisms aside:

Check out the radio Play peoples!  iT'S A'HAPNIN.  Right Now.  A czarina would even claim that it's a Done Deal.

*soo Happy*

Well… the monitor is in the shop.  I should get a phonecall soon telling me it can be worked on and with any luck I'll pick it up next month.  Until then I'll have to put up with the radiation destroying the DNA in my eyes and causing my retinas to detach…  if I don't smash my head into the CRT first (resulting in it being shot full of holes by the electron guns in the back of the tube)…

My mouth still hurts in places, not much, just aches.

The only solid food I've had was a packet of salt and vinegar chips… I just HAD to have them! I have been dreaming and lusting after real food for so long but afraid to eat it because of the pulled teeth…

Well, it went ok. Maybe I can start trying real food now… or just move up to noodles :(

The dentist was expensive… Hopefully I'll get some back on my health insurance. :(

Pinky TA updated the other day :)

Ugh.. I've been told that dental work hurts the wallet, pocket book and bank account more than it hurts the mouth…

So you can't even eat noodle soup now?  I guess it does take a few days for your mouth to heal and such…  I hope that anesthetic they used wasn't too uncomfortable…
