Gotta love some catch 22 situations.  If I talk about the problems and my depression to someone else I'm told it's called "whining".  But if I hold all those negative emotions inside they'll eventually eat me alive.  Nothing to do about that I suppose…
My body aches.  It's gonna take a while pushing two wheels all over the place.  I do make it a point not to be travelling around at night.  Too many dangers like to pick off walkers and cyclists at that time.

best thing i'd think, to do about that is dont worry about what they think so much. use your judgement who's the best to talk about these things. have you  seen anyone about your depression?

a brain is a GREAT thing to use when you drive. DONT blind me with yer fucking brights! DONT drive in the opposie lane just to turn left ahead of everyone! DO NOT tailgate the hell out of someone else! if you like to ride ass that much, there's bars for that!DO NOT put you children riding in the backseat at risk, dodging through traffic like a fucking bat out of hell, while ou flip everyone off! DO NOT cut into a funeral procession and ride through it through half of town (that one was my bad.) DAMMIT CONNECTICUT!!!

man, you know what gets on my nerves? people who leave comments and all it is is pointing out a spelling error or something. fucking really? specially when it's something like "i know other people have probably pointed this out,but isnt it suppoed to be this instead of that?" then why point it out! you know what it's supposed to be AND you're assuming others have pointed it out already, so what's the point of what you say? nothing. find something useful to say.

Heh… my body doesn't ache so much after riding now.  And I was able to get a little farther without stopping for a rest…  if only there wasn't a crosswalk in the way.  I didn't realize how fast dogs could run when motivated with the anticipation of sinking their teeth into your ankles/bike tires, though.  Not to mencion I was cut off by a guy turning a corner at a red light (I was supposed to cross the street via the sign that says "walk", but he ignored it), and even better… I got honked at by a motorist behind me to get out of the way… whike I was in the bike lane!!!  *sigh*

I really should take pics of the bike I got.  It was supposed to go for $188 at the K-Mart here, but the slashed the price down to $135.  Now I just have to go to another sporting good store to buy some spare brake pads and shop around the electronics stores so I can rig LED lights onto the thing.  Hmmm…  It's apparently a Mongoose Spire, though.  I miss the old Huffy bikes…

This CRT I'm currently using is starting to go magenta on me.  I had to drill a hole into the back and the top to gently "tap" the assembly attached to the tube to make the screen back to normal.  It'll be a short while before I can pick up my old monitor from the shop; the money isn't there yet.  In the meantime I'll just have to put up with this or get an HDMI cable for my TV so I can connect my PC to it (both have the necessary connections).

And life goes on… for everyone else as it streams around me…

I just wanted to make an announcement in here that we are about 18 hours away from closing the ballots for the DD Awards. There are a few categories that can still go either way so hurry up and get in your votes before you start whining about who go nominated.

Headache rumbling in my temple… It's not due to teeth, lack of food or lack of sleep. Sinus infection?

It's either that or the strange dream I had… I started out as being a slightly corrupt entrepreneur businessman who made a mint out of a successful casino (and mob connections), and married a vapid, nasty yet very sexy trophy wife!

My massive casino was as big as a small town with everything I could have ever wanted… but I grew less interested with it and more concerned about the people working for me. I made sure they had their own hospital to take care of the sick and infirm… then I gradually took more and more interest in the hospital, till I was working there personally, caring for individual patients… It was a nasty, dirty, horrible place. My trophy wife didn't understand or care and the casino was getting run down as I neglected it and its backers were getting very concerned and thinking about managing it themselves.

It was a very stressful dream! I'm pretty sure it was symbolic of Drunk Duck.

Skoolmunkee of course! :D

Naw, I'm sure it was symbolic of the problems at DD, but not necessarily directly, so one thing doesn't always translate directly into another thing.

Anyway, I think it's more likely that my comic, Pinky TA and all the things associated with it, had something to do with the trophy wife.

I've still got that headache -_-

The key is in the word 'trophy' - not wife. It's symbolic of your obsession with ratings and DD trophies and the like at that time - we've all been there.
This dream is so directly symbolic it's practically News At Ten with Trevor McDonald.

I think what oz forgot to mention is that in all his dreams he has a sexy trophy wife. Flying in a peaceful sky with a sexy trophy wife, taking a test with no clothes on with a sexy trophy wife, trapped in a house surrounded by a horde of zombie sexy trophy wives….

Also,

IRONSCARF?!?!?!?!? (I missed you!)

Technically I've always been dead - something to do with a clown and some cold hot cola if I remember.

Before my time, I'm sure.

Unless this is code for Kyupol, whom I also miss

So I'm working from home today, like most Mondays, but was feeling chilled, with a bit of stomach upset and a nagging headache.

"I'll just lay down a minute or two" – for three-and-a-half hours

I too wondered if he meant Kyupol, Mag-isa hasn't updated in a while.  I miss his crazy talk, not the crazy spamming but when he made the effort to put a proper point across he was at least interesting.
