So I'm addicted to this excellent remix of "Ready for the fight" and some other song, and I didn't have it on my phone (only my main comp at home) and wanted to listen to it at work… So I searched and searched and kept on coming up with boring crappy crap versions of "ready for the fight" that I dunno why they even bothered doing at all…

And now I finally found it again and now I can listen to it on endless reap on my phone. :)
JOY!

"Glitch Punx" is what they called it! Free for download ^__^

A personal best, two weeks in a row. at this rate, i'll reach my goal of a 21 minute 3 miler, by the end of the year. only 1 minute to take off across the board.

I find it sad that i have to pace of a 45 year old to get this speed tho.

If anyone asks, I was fighting zombies in Alaska for several months, not procrastinating at all and totally not making VGCats look really fast.

Of course right as I came back now that I've finally talked myself into reuploading the many pictures that were baleeted by the server change, there's another site change in like, a week. :/

Wow, I weathered that transition pretty well - it doesn't even feel like the site has changed! :D

*Groans* I hope the changeover come soon just so the "the site looks the same" jokes will end.

I wish I had some worms for my chickies. I wonder if I can just go down to wal-mart and buy some fishing worms, then put them on some poop so they'll breed. My dad and I have been hauling off junk and rocks all over outside yet not a single worm was found. Plenty of spiders, scorpions, and centipedes though. Thanks hell-hole house.

Wait for a good rain, and right after, go out to the most fertile section of your property. Worms be rising from the dead to keep from drowning.
There's also chicken feed, where they feed them cornmeal, and various other items. like chicken.

Guuuuuuhhhhhhh, stomach cramps. i hope it's the kidney stone, then i can go back to not doing office work. if i didn't already have my appendix removed, i might be worrying about that.

I'm going to name it moo-lissa.

I'm sad. I want to order Canson manga paper with non-repo guidelines because that helps me draw straight lines and they're of a higher quality than the copier paper that I used to use. But my dad thinks it's too expensive with the shipping cost tacked on. So I didn't order it. I only have five sheets of my mangauniversity.com paper.

We've all been partying on comicfury

I set a deadline for my comic, august 31. Just enough time to complete it with hiccups and have it online during 2011. Goddamnit I hope people like it…

Man, are those forums made for partially blind people or something? MASSIVE…

They actually make the forums on the preview site look preferable- aside from the colour that is. I seriously never thought that that would be possible. But I have to say I like comicfury even so- it keeps LeFarce busy. :)

Sad to see a lot of other once regular DDers spending more of their time there, but that's the way things go on the net; Things change, and that's the only constant. I wish them all good luck and much success.

If I wasn't at DD though, I wouldn't bother with another host site, I'd just go straight for self hosting again The reason I keep my comic here is tradition.

Doing a pinup sketch of Pinky and CC and failing miserably. I have to be in the right state of mind to draw, but after a migraine I'm just not. :(

Seriously though. Im joining to mirror future projects.
I like drunk duck but its a little slow at times.
And I hear that they have a mafia over there.

I actually can't browse DD forums without using cntrl++ and making it huge, so I like the size over there.

I wish I could read french…french comics have such expressive art. I'm getting sick of all the realism American comics have been turning to. It all just blends together lately..

Ugh… That's the last time I buy flounder. I don't know what I'm doing wrong here. Whenever I try to apply heat to cook the fish it literally falls apart. Even steaming, microwaving, and baking doesn't help. It just turns into goop or something when I pick it up… Maybe if I drowned it in beer first…

PANTSU NUGERU MON!!! Or I would if I wore those. Eww… that's one very VERY DISTURBING IMAGE… just the thought of it now makes me sick. Now it's even worse if I think about doing that… I'm gonna have nightmares tonight when I doze off at work again… O_O

Big forums are great for drunks and old timers too!

It's kind of sad to me but since Wowio took over the forums have become way too slow to load and what's proposed now - well I can't understand why anyone would want to sign up for that. Can't speak for anyone else but I only continue to use the site because you and Skool are still here and nowhere near as much as I used to.

It feels like visiting the underpriviledged part of town that used to be nice, because your friends still live there.

I think you might be able to speak for me, too.

Site slowness and the catastrophic crashes have been concerns, or problems, perhaps major aggravations, but then ensuing entire overhaul has been, distressing, imo.

Many positives remain, and I hope more positives will come about. But I'm hopeful, not trustful.

They told me when I became a social worker that in the event of a natural disaster I'd be required to participate in any relief efforts. Well they weren't kidding… I'm officially on standby to man one of the evacuee shelters. Should be fun!

lol I got shouted down and treated rudely for showing concern and care for a sick person.

Mostly I stay for the community rather than the site's hosting reliability, which is weird. It's a bit sad that it's slowing down so noticeably at any rate and I rather wonder if it's going to pick back up after the actual transition. :\

Yeah, lba left a while ago… but a lot of others are still here kicking around the place, they just don't come to the GD part of the forum too much. Pit Face can't post as much now since she started working as crew of a cruise ship…

I reckon things will pick up again after the transition finally takes place to the new version of the site- part of the problem here is the uncertainty and the slowwww load times T_T

-Whoop-
Getting an actual real version of Pinky's coat made up:

I am hoping it will be awesome. Gonna have brass buttons and the gold trim is gonna be made of real rank braid…- gold metal wire stuff. Pricey, but worth it.
Buut, you never know how these things will turn out till they turn out.

So with the move and all being uppermost, is there still interest in the radio play / voice contest?

we can nix, postpone, carry on - but it's been tumbleweeds/ crickets and I'm just thinking we can scratch it due to bad timing if folks are too busy otherwise.

Today rainy/raining here, which is great by me. Did a lot of gardening yesterday, digging stuff up, donating 6 large bags of plants to my brother, and moving a lot more around to new locations — this rain is watering stuff in nicely.
Makes the aches and pains worth while. I'd be OK if it weren't for one bulk of flags (like irises but with knots for roots). The thing was as big as a shrub and had adopted rocks into its root system. At one point I was on my back using my legs to leverage/kick the @#$%#WE# thing out.

It cracks me up when people ask "how do you do it?" – my methods are effective, but not, er, graceful.

Don't nix it. Postpone if you need to, but I think people are still interested.
