On Shades, we see a jetpack dude being attacked by a wizard's staff! It looks pretty intense. It seems I missed quite a lot with this comic.

Ladies and gentleman, I, today, had opened a brand new comic by the title of Marvin and Jessica and this is the cover art.

It's my return comic to Drunkduck and I would be glad to start with a small project and then to proceed to my original comics.

I hope, you'd enjoy this work.
Simon!

Marvin and Jessica - Marvin has one hell of a mad grin.

The Chronicles of Wyrden updates today and Talon finally tells Isadora to shut up! Well, not quite, you'll see!

Another beautiful page! I would expect nothing less. :) I love the way they talk. You are very good at writing the elegant speech pattern.

In Gelotology, Becky and Dave visit the planetarium for a wonderfully accurate simulation of the night sky.

@QUEST - nice character bio. As for the comic, it looks like an MMORPG or something. Some of the text are hard to read though. Text baloon vs text should be a very light to a very dark contrast. For example, the text should be black and the text baloon should be white.

———

Combatron [Space Warrior]
- We get to see Abodawn, Combatron's arch-nemesis.

MAG-ISA
- Demon kid can't just kill Claudita.

Crossing Death features a very nice looking cartoon style! I love the look of the characters, it looks like something you'd (used to, before cartoons got all stupid) see on Cartoon Network or early Saturday mornings. Also, dig the giant robot. Great work!

Ryu's Krew updates today with more explaining. And I'm really hoping the story is starting to make more sense.

That's a very well-drawn comic! I'm especially impressed by the lighting in the last panel and by the character designs.

Used Books updated with a short interruption by an employee (who happens to be a character we haven't seen for a while).

usedbooks:
As always, intrigue abounds in Used Books! Nefarious plots! I always end up reading 10 or so pages back when I comment on this comic here- there's always so much going on. I have to know! :D

Meanwhile, over at the Hub:
Back at the strip club, Vic's formally introduced to GiGi the gorgon stripper. And her boobs. That's about all. x_X
Bonus: The return of incentives, and the long-absent author and actual responses to comments. Woot.

I think that character of GiGi is fantastic! I seriously had thought of that once while watching Clash of the Titans years ago, but with the more human legs like on Gigi. :D Very very cool!

It's been a while since I've hit it just right so I could say a few words about Pagan Zoetrope. Great comic, with nice, slick artwork. I need to catch up on the story though, which I look forward to.

…………………..

Engine updates again with a quick few panels. Dan-jJir lurks, then smirks.

Engine is a great comic, and the artwork and linework are fantastic

Gothenreich Chronicles updates today

Posted at

Gothenreich Chronicles is lookin' spiffy, and also very intense. I like the cross-hatching and the muted color palette.

Double update for me!

Misfit Assassins: Exciting craziness! Eve finds out about how – oh can't spoil the next page!

The Optimist: Contains possibly my favorite panel that I have ever drawn… and Zombie Saint Kazimieras?!!? (I thought this was a Serious comic?!?!) hehe. Kids, this is why you shouldn't fast for days and then run around!!

The Optimist: I think, if I were Kazimieras, I would have either cried or wet my pants. Maybe both. (Talking of the living Kazimieras, not the dead one. If I were the dead one, I'd have just rotted some.) Loved the vote incentive, by the way - that's a killer wig!

Misfit Assassins: My first visit to this comic! (I'm sorry! I'm sorry!) It's a completely different style than The Optimist, so first and foremost, I admire the range of your talent ^.^ And after reading the most recent two pages, I'm hooked!

"But Not Really" 's take on odd placement of everyday items is spot on! :D All too often I've done similar things! :D

Pagan Zoetrope: Ian's mouth gets the best of him.

Pagan Zoetrope - I've long been a fan of this comic, it's funny, it's inventive and it's got beautiful clean line art. Go check it out!

The Chronicles of Wyrden updates today with Talon's verbal broadside from last time reaching full strength.

Poor Izzy!

HAH!

With the Chronicles of Wyrden, there's always fantastic artwork. But then, from what I've read, somebody's life just got hoed. You should all definitely check this comic out, it's fantastic! (But I have yet to read the archives, definitely have to get on that)

@Creative way to inform the readers a little more about the story and the background of the characters. It's clever how you maid the first dialoge balloon go over three panels.

"The Rose Killer" has a look that reminds me a bit of the look of the story in Hotel Dusk for the Nintendo DS, which is to say, I like it. :D

I like the energy in your likework very much. And having said that, I'll now go read the rest of the backstory! :)

PZ's looking sharp as always - the art is unfailingly awesome. I don't know that I'd necessarily trust Gina to dress me, haha. We'll see what happens!

Over at Salt, it's the moment for which you've all be waiting!

Posted at

I really like the opening story in Asshole. The writing is sharp and funny. The artwork emphasizes it by using stock poses and facial expressions from superhero comics. (Clenched fists, gnashed teeth, arched stances etc.) But, instead of superheroes, we're seeing these things with ordinary people going through a slice-of-life type of story. This technique really added a lot to the humor and I thought it was a great touch.

There's a brand new Air Raid Robertson AND a brand new Public Domain Funnies today. The Golden Age superheroine Fantomah is in both of them.

Air Raid Robertson and Ridley encounter Fantomah in their strip. They need her help to repair their damaged airplane. Much more snarky dialogue ensues.

Over in Public Domain Funnies, Fantomah finally unleashes her rage as Org's army of mind controlled giant spiders lay waste to a sacred jungle city.

Another page of Public Domain Funnies will be up tomorrow, and there's going to be a new Capital of Helsinki strip up on Saturday.

Air Raid Robertson is seriously cool and funny. Of course I'm a huge fan of the Adventure Genre and setting and this strip pulls it off quite nicely. The "punchline" of the current offering was a little bit predictable but still got an LOL out of yours truely.

Guys Wakon Yosai is starting a new chapter so now is the perfect time to start readin ;)
