Juvies has a nice, crisp clean style to it. And I know from experience how hard it is to kick down a door without breaking a hole in it.

Living With Insanity updates with… weird stuff happening. That's all I can say.

I love the simplicity in the artwork and coloring in Living with insanity. It doesn't try and do to much in order to take away from the joke. Very nice.

In Bear VS. Zombies the animals and zombies finally come face to face in EPIC double splash page goodness. No I will not resize!! It's a frickin' double splash page! It's supposed to be big!

Fantastic work on that page! I love all the detail you put into all those characters. It must've taken a long time. I like the bold colors too. That would make a good poster or mousepad or something…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Used Books updated with the reunion of two guys who haven't seen each other in over five years. Doesn't that make you feel sentimental?
I don't know how much more praise I can give Used Books. Just a unique style, in a very well written story.
………..
ENGINE updates again…. Something isn't right, and Dan-Jir lets everybody know about it. The race is on! Will Andromeda's appearance be one of the shortest in comic history??
Funny strip. Period. ;D
Today on the freshly featured Times Like This (which yesterday got THREE TIMES as many views as my previous recordholder!): Cassie goes back to her first day on the job for some peace of mind.
Heeheee, I really like the humor in this. I also really like the art style in which this comic is drawn. It all mixes together really well! Oh man, I really wish I could travel through time now…
…..
Meanwhile, Doug finally shows up! Doug inquires Exile why there was an ambulance out on the soccer field….
Sweet art and nice color choices on the newest page for Doug N Exile. I will certainly read through the past pages on this one.
@ttyler:
Okay, this comic is so amazingly detailed, well-rendered, action-packed, and all-in-all badass that I'm at a loss as to what to say other than muttering something about women in thigh-high stockings with big guns. But seriously- it's one of those where I checked it out to comment, and then had to read all the way back to the start. :)
The Hub:
Huh? Page 50? How the hell did we get here? Was I asleep?
Also: a bit of backstory and clarification for one of the characters.
@Hyena - Really amazing work as usual! (I've been meaning to read through The Hub archives but I always forget; this is a great reminder! :D)
Haha, ironically, I'm studying Greek and Egyptian artwork in class right now, so this page was pretty interesting to me. I also like the slip-up on panel one.
You know, I'm always mesmorized by your pen work and the patterns you make; sort of looks like a wood cutout. @_@
Continuing the struggle between police and the press. *Sigh* At times, journalists can seem like worse antagonists than the killers. At least killers have emotion and passion. The people who print the sensational stories are just out for the fame and fortune (and aiding the criminals' search for the same).
Gelotology's update concerns littering – sort of. (My family didn't get this joke, but I like it anyway.)
A double treat in today's Gelatology update. Not just a joke, but also a quiz!
(Go see - there are cyber cookies on offer!)
******************************
Nothing edible in view in this week's instalment of Shades, I'm afraid. Our heroes are still at the Tower of London, though, so it's kind of educational.
Well … if you consider heroes in jetpacks, ancient wizards and 2,000 year old warrior women as educational, that is!
Posted at
Shades is good reading everyone! This installment has a killer last panel, and Bedlam's hair is awesome/crazy as always!
The Stunning She-Devil completed its first chapter today, and the next story launches this week!
The Stunning She-Devil: It's nice to see such an interesting female character, good line art and some solid colours.
The Chronicles of Wyrden updates today and we take a little look: UP.
Perspective is evil.
It was invented by Satan in order to make all of creation really difficult to draw.
It causes nothing but misery!
So full marks to Doctor Shadow for successfully pulling off this great zooming out sequence on his latest page.
Excellent stuff!
———————————————————-
In Harkovast, everybody is Kung fu fighting, and those kicks are fast as lightning!
(in fact its a little bit frightening, but I can promise that they fight with expert timing!)
Quite an interesting use of perspective at HARKOVAST….
Today in the CROSSOVERLORD, a new chapter starts, and we have a new "cover" for the chapter, at http://www.drunkduck.com/Crossoverlord/index.php?p=569969—and during this chapter we're shooting for updating the actual story (not counting the cover) TWICE a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as the action picks up. That'll be till around the end of July. So…wish us luck!
@ Crossoverlord - I miss Bret the hitman Hart. He used to be my favorite wrestler.
Anyway, I'm cheking out the comic. Looks like an interesting setup.
——-
Now for my updates:
Combatron [Space Warrior]
- Combatron and Askal arrive on Earth.
MAG-ISA
- Claudita finally gets out of her situation.
Posted at
Did the same artist do both comics? If so, they can vary their style–a LOT. I liked the art in MAG-ISA and I loved the dog in COMBATRON.
In the CROSSOVERLORD, loads of cameos plus, the smartest woman in the room is nevertheless grabbed by two of her worst nightmares. All at http://www.drunkduck.com/Crossoverlord/index.php?p=569970. First of two updates of the story this week.
Never have I found incendiary devices so amusing… Makes me wonder if they have some kind of Mentos + Sprite device (maybe with zombie-burning acid?)
Memory wipe! Wonder how that was pulled off? And if Celes really is the "timid mouse" that won't cause them any trouble? I've said it before and I'll say it again: superb intrigue!
Meanwhile, at the Hub:
Victor speculates on the probability of somethin' rather unlikely. Pete makes a subsequent judgment on his character. One of 'em is right.
Victor's continuing quest to find a cure for lesbianism seems to have ended in failure once again.
But you have to admire his up front honesty!
My only question is how come that stripper doesn't turn them all the stone? They must be avoiding eye contact. Perhaps Victor, being complete sexist, only stares at her boobs the whole time?
In Harkovast Shogun kicks some ass…or in this case, some face!
Blood Reign is an absolutely awesome comic. ttyler's style reminds me of early J Scott Campbell (Gen 13), and the splashes of color on the page really stand out. There's so much detail in the backgrounds and characters, it's truly a professional looking book!
@$$hole!: Seriously, internet dating sucks
