Harkovast is a blast! I dig the hand colored look and the unique characters. (The best of which is the creator himself!!)
Good stuff.
………………………………………..
ENGINE continues, as does the Dragon Hunt.
Start publishing on
DD Comics!
Redux: Did you just update? Tell us why someone should visit your comic. But ONLY AFTER commenting about the comic BEFORE yours. ^_^
Engine: I've seen this comic before, and I still enjoy the art (By the way, shouldn't the "Mighty Dreadful" banner be phased out, as that comic was purged?)

Today on Negligence: see if you can recognize an iconic object in the background (The color version is available here)
Also, Cubicle goes live with its first real page today.
Cubicle: Looks very interesting, I'll be keeping an eye on this one.
The Chronicles of Wyrden updates today, despite DD's image-server problem and the new system playing up it seems. You'll have to visit either the working Comic Dish mirror or the Main Site to view the update.
EDIT: The DD update is now fixed.
After following a link I got greeted with more wonderfully inked art and discussion, which is more interesting than it sounds nut it would be rude of me to spill details.
Malefic suffers a similar hassle of updating but it is just an updated version of the cover before it returns proper tomorrow. updating allowing.
pre upload though we have
Malefic tales, eye of the storm gets under way. the second tale told by Jabberwockyjones, creator of ax crazy.
http://www.drunkduck.com/Malefic_Tales/
Cubicle begins in earnest, another collaboration this time with Elektro. cretor of negligence.
http://www.drunkduck.com/Cubicle/
And for anyone who may care for it my scrap book is updated as well, this time with a picture of the marvel character Juggernaut.
http://www.drunkduck.com/Genejokes_scrap_book/
The scrap book has all sorts of things from concept art from my projects to discarded pages to fanart.
For Malefic tales:
This is a unique style, and the colour scheme suits the whole fisherman/sailor mood perfectly. Well done- and the dialogue works well, too :)
For cubicle:
The narrative is well done, and there is this 'voiceover feel' that is well executed, and setting us up to see what the main character will do. Kudos on that one, too :)

Without Moonlight updated yesterday with its first page! Check it out if you dare XD
Fans of Tantz_Aerine's Wolf will already want to read her new comic Without Moonlight. Even if you never read that, however, this one looks like being a must-read!
The first page has only just been posted, so this is your chance to be in from the very beginning. Telling the story of a group of Greek resistance fighters during WW2, we can probably expect action, heroism, tragedy and evil Nazis. Nazis! How could anyone not want to read this?!
****************************
And, yesterday we added another page to the epilogue of Shades. We're very near the end now (just three more pages to go!), so this page gives us a glimpse of what the future might have in store for one member of our motley crew. What could be better than that?
What's that? First Century warrior queen Boudicca in a wig, you say? Funnily enough, this page has that, too!
Shade's is about to end? Woahhh, I never got to catch up with it, either XD. I'll have to read it this summer because I'm sure I missed a lot of awesomeness. Congrats on completing such a great project!
And the expressions of the people on that page are so detailed @_@ really nice. "With my clothes on" XD. Oh my.

The Rose Killer updated today! James thinks about the Rose Killer case press conference.
Looks interesting, will read more. I like the old world feel to the art.
Malefic is back! BACK! BACK!
We get to see the Dan and Louis evade Cthulu type monsters. This is the first page of the story written by fellow DD'er Jabberwockyjones.
Also Spleen the Barbarian updates as he reaches the Tower of phallic reference.
http://www.drunkduck.com/Spleen_the_barbarian/
@Genejoke That's two giant pink things accross two comics!

Choose your own Nedventure trundles on to 10 pages! Things are getting wierder as Ned finds himself in a dark kitchen.
The new updater doesn't seem to want to tell people when I update at the moment, so I guess I'll be posting here much more often.
@Choose Your Own Nedventure: OMG that has to be the cutest cat ever. He is all eyes. I like the fact that you said "trundles on" it is so like a cat. I will be interested to keep up with this comic. The scratchboard esque artwork is super neat. Keep it up.
Eternity Dreams: So For Once, it looks like our 'Heroine(?)' is caught by surprise this week. It had to happen at some point though.
Eternity Dreams: Considering that a wolfman is attacking what looks like a music bar, could Wolfman Jack be making a comeback? (Sorry, bad joke)

So, today we see the origin of two of Lizzep's favorite things in Negligence (Like the other pages of this story arc, this one also appears in color)
Meanwhile, Cubicle continues to dig deeper into our main character's inner despair.
Negligence: I'm also curious as to see where this is going. It kind of reminds me a little of Charlie Brown. Except, you know, it's going somewhere.
Cubicle: It's suspenseful and daunting and I'm half-terrified this is going to end in a rain of hot lead, but I'm curious as to whether he'll get to finally project his frustrations or if he'll continue to internalize his anger (…and THEN explode in a burst of anger, with much destruction to be had in the office). Either way, I'm feeling bad for this guy. Will he get his lucky break soon? At all?
——-
Gestalt updates today. It's the end of the introduction (which ends with a buttload of lautre's hand-drawn, detailed awesomeness <3), and we're about to get moving. :)
Gestalt: Now that is some detailed chainmail and some very nice crosshatching, defines the depth very well. Love it.
The Chronicles of Wyrden updates today and Avala, well, she's not handling this meeting as well as she'd hoped. The ink-wash and ink crosshatching for this page done by Reva is one of my favourites from her yet.
If the Cthulu are as evil as they are hard to pronounce…I wouldn't go out there either!
That's Comical
An old comic. One of my first! I had two endings to this comic but this ending was the more popular one. Hope you like it!
Live long and Prosper.
That's Comical: Geordi LaForge - the black Cyclops
———–
Today on Negligence: it's time to start seeing some Batman parallels, especially in the page titles (color version)
Meanwhile, in the world of Cubicle, Glen is on his morning commute.
Cubicle is shaping up to be a rather interesting comic from the looks of things.
I'm gonna fav it and make sure to keep up with it.
_____________
In Ax Crazy, we find out why Rosco is so upset. Also we've hit twenty pages and a new character is due to be introduced on Monday!
@Jabberwockyjones - Oh boy, conflict x_x. But I like the frankness in the dialogue of the third panel, and I enjoy your linework as well. Congrats on the 20 page milestone! :D

The Rose Killer updated today. The press conference continues, but hits an awkward point when Quinn mentions unreleased info.
@Project GTH: No, not much going on. Although I must say, your protagonists look quite dapper indeed.
Meanwhile, at Smoke Manmuscle, P.I,, the thrilling MS Paint aerial dogfight concludes, and Princess has some choice words for the pilot.
I like the motion depicted in the flipping of that ship. Nice effect.
That's Comical
My wife liked this comic, I hope you guys like it…
That's Comical: Watch out, it may make a loaf of bread (okay, that was nasty, I apologize).
———-
Today on Negligence: a pencil in the eye does it every time (Color version here).
Meanwhile, on Cubicle, we meet Johnny, a total asshole.
Negligence: Not much we can say about that, poor gal.
Cubicle: There is definitely always at least one of these in the office, it reminds me (in a good way) of the scene in the Wanted movie. I liked the dialogue and the way it all comes together on that page.
The Chronicles of Wyrden updates today and the Cardinal is contemplative.
Doctor Shadow: Kinda want to put in a thought bubble at the end that says "Maybe I made them too submissive." Great art!

Today's Crossing Death gives a nod to people who haven't had the greatest post-college experience (and starts a new chapter).
