So they have captured an albino midget, hardly fair, I mean the poor midget had little chance of running away. Also a village of seedy looking folk being pleased they have a little person in manacles, sounds very ominous.

Malefic has updated.

We check in on Greg, Vanessa, Claire and the fully pregnant in two days due to demon goo victim Tanya.

@Malefic- For some reason big red demons will always freak me out. I think it is a Holdover from Trigon. Nevertheless, excellent pencils in this, and I always love a good dramatic back-view in a comic. Great job!

Eternity Dreams- continues to update despite my super misgivings and worry I have been able to keep an up and on time. As for the comic itself, by the next page I should have more dialogue honest. Teresa seems to be shocked to find something she lost and we finally get to see Liam talk.

That's Comical: Be advised that he may be accompanied by kangaroos. I repeat…

———-

Today on Negligence: it's the final page of Lizzep's origin story (and also the last of the pages with a full color version, but I have something special lined up for Friday).

Meanwhile, in the world of Cubicle, this flashback page is brought to you by the nihilist wing of Phillip Morris USA.

@Cubicle: Depressing…and also true to life. Smoking is an excellent excuse to get out of almost any situation.

Meanwhile, at Smoke Manmuscle, P.I,, Smoke decides he's had it with this sci-fi shit, and goes old-school on the Ministers of Pain.

Love the nipples on the armour. very old school.

In Malefic Greg oversteps the fine line between bravery and stupidity.

In malefic tales "eye of the storm" continues with Oli and Zack arguing.

Starting a page with the cus "fuck" and having someone puke over the side of a boat in GREY is an amaxing way to do a page.

Why didn't I do that?

Well what I did do was update:

Crap2,
I am,
and Pwnd Randomness.

(did not bother linking at the moment-follow my user profile to the pages there, sorry.)

Wow you've got a whole bunch of comics on your account page.

Well done on updating three of them at once I guess.

The adventures of Ned (and that other Ned too) continue. Red Ned Returns to a place he's never been before (except he has) (or has he?) and his double continues to make him jealous with lightning powers.

Edit: Whoops, posted the same time as you there jabberwockjones, so here's a comment for you too:

Lizzy obviously needed an photoshop-themed montage set to an upbeat song from the 80s to suceed.

The adventures of Ned (and that other Ned too): Duuuuude lightning sword! Yes, I have reached levels of jealousy of which mankind has never before conceived! 8|

Gestalt: A color page! The creepy town of Baal has the equally creepy culprit! But if you don't fall in love with the eyes lautre colored, you could at least gaze at the magnificence that is her door. I don't know why, but I LOVE that door. (And Malefic, your comment made me laugh.)

The colouring is awesome, get a whip out and force Lautremonde to colour every page.
well maybe not a whip that comes across a bit too seedy, a cattle prod maybe.

In Malefic Greg demonstrates why running in half cocked is a bad idea.

Malefic: That last panel is full of painful truth, great stuff.

The Chronicles of Wyrden updates today and it looks like Avala and her navigator are in deep trouble.

I read from chapter eight, because that large archive of yours was rather daunting. BUT, your story is really quite immersive! I absolutely love your shading and crosshatching (I am so envious that you can crosshatch so well).

I am also quite interested what else will happen. I shall read from the beginning.

UPDATE. DELICIOUS UPDATE. EAT IT UP. IT'S TASTY IS IT NOT? YUM YUM YUM. Nothing really to say about the new page….Doug is bored? Yes, he's bored. Also, look at that establishing shot, don't you want to hug it? I do.

Doug N Exile: I'm glad to see this comic back in color again. It seemed to miss something without it.

———-

Today on Negligence: a little epilogue to Lizzep's origin story (also a little "will they or won't they get back together" ending for you).

The filler and fan art page updates one last time for a while with the cover design I came up with for the Lizzep origin story arc (which is why for the last month I've had the whole "color/black and white" comparison thing going on between the two).

Finally, in the world of Cubicle, this whole smoke-break arc ends, and we get a little foreshadowing to Glen's future plans.

Posted at

@Cubicle: I never thought taking a drag on a cigarette could look so disturbing. I also think he's channeling the spirit of Crispin Glover in that second panel.

Meanwhile, at Smoke Manmuscle, P.I,, we have an Obligatory Girl Fight Moment, and Smoke realizes just how dedicated the Mnisters of Pain are to…eh…pain.

Smoke Manmuscle is very cool, with funny, bad ass writing.
If I had to criticise I would say that they art is kinda confusing. Sometimes it was hard to tell what was going on or what the characters were doing.

Plural Bonerage updated again!

Okay not a great update, nice little pic but as you say yourself not a proper update, still thanks for sharing your talents.

No Malefic update, I am building the buffer to be full on 7 days a week from monday.

BUT…

Malefic tales ploughs on with eye of the storm.

Well Genejoke,
I thought for a minute I was reading a review of the TV show "Dangerous Catch".
Seriously though, I love how you rendered the drool (or puke as it were) on the guy that's asleep and I went back a page to read the previous post and guess what? I'm gonna read the whole run. Love your style too. Looks kind of water color which goes with the story.
Only critical thing would be maybe a little too much swearing for me but that's just me. I'm still going to give it a read.

As for my Randi Update
http://www.drunkduck.com/Randi/index.php?p=721150
Todays installment shows the sexual tension building between the two main characters. Forbidden love.

Does that spock have Rabbit ears?

I guess back in the days when the Phone booth was king Cell Phones must have seemed like something out of star treck.

Nu & Me: Great art and solid coloring! I can't wait to see the next page. :D

Gestalt: I honestly think this is Lautre's scariest page EVER. I'm in suspense, and I KNOW what's going to happen.

@Genejoke: Hrrrm sounds kinky. XD Aaaand I accidentally called you Malefic earlier… The word just kinda jumps out of the banner (which is a good thing, I think).

For Cubicle: You have some strong prose there, and the panels complement it real well. It's not easy to get across the feel of 'voiceover' in comics, but you do it just fine :)

For negligence: This little strip somehow reminds me a little of Peanuts :p

Without Moonlight updates today with a simple one-panel chapter cover and a ton of author's notes. XD

Woo hoo! The first full-length chapter of Without Moonlight kicks off today! If you haven't read the Prologue yet, go and do it now.

If you have, make sure you read Tantz_Aerine's comments on this page. It's history brought to life, I tells ya!

*************************

Oh, and speaking of history, today we mark a little history of our own. Shades finally comes to an end. The last page has been posted and the story's complete. If you haven't read this before, then now's your chance to read the entire graphic novel from beginning to end.

If you have read it before … well, you won't want to miss the last page now, will you?!

Shades: What can I say, this comic has truly taken the idea of superheroes and done for them, for the modern audience, what Alan Moore did in the Watchmen way back. I however have a definite confession, and it might seem as heresy to the Mooreites out there. I prefer Shades to the Watchmen.

Not dissin' on old Alan there since he's a great writer, but for this modern age, Shades delivers something perfect in a great package.

Kudos to DAJB for telling a fantastic story, now go read!

The Chronicles of Wyrden has not come to an end, this is just the beginning ;)
