I'm not sure what I was expecting, but that certainly wasn't it!  The idea of changing artists for each page is pretty cool though, and seeing the different styles was enjoyable.  Um… for this page, I really like the backgrounds.  They have a nice balance of detail and space.
***
And… I guess that means it's my turn?  I'm a total newbie on the site, but I've taken criticism before, so feel free to say you don't like something.  Here's the update of "Forest King."  If you're looking for an interesting art style, this is pretty unique.

Now that is a strange cast of characters! I have no idea what I was even looking at, but I liked them right away. Especially the weird bat(?) guy in the back. And cover is right. That eyeball issue marker in the corner's the iceing on the cake. I do admit, it's a bit pixelly but it's clever what you've done with the whole thing! :)
Now for my comic I suppose. Technically I updated three pages today to make up for some missed dates (AT&T), but this page should do it. https://next.theduckwebcomics.com/Do_You_Like_Fear/
Not gonna lie, the comic itself is starting off a bit slow due to a bit of world building and back ground, but that should change once chapter one ends in a few more pages. DYLF is one part dark comedy with body horror, one part light-hearted comedy, and some other part philosophy. The latter will make more sense as the story continues, but it's all about human concepts, corruption, and justice. And my weird sense of humor, but that's solely for me.

I like the clean, uncluttered art style. I'm not a big fan of overwhelming colours and felt quite at home with the look of your comic. There is indeed a strong anime feel i'm getting off of this.
I also loved the use of shadows and highlights on this page:
https://next.theduckwebcomics.com/Do_You_Like_Fear/5496527/
I found the title 'Thanksgiving Defeat' pretty tongue-in-cheek. Well played :)

My strip 'The Grazing Mongrel' is a weekly comic that talks about various aspects of life and how to deal with them.

The Grazing Mongrel is a super weird random comic with a distinctive art style that grows on you. The humor is bizarre and complements the art in a way that just manages to barely work. But make no mistake, it works. Anyone that can develop their own distinctive style always has major points from me. Humor comics are some of the hardest in the genre to run and write for because they don't follow a specific set plot that can be put together years in advance. You don't know what the next day brings and it takes a while to get the groove on for it. This page: https://next.theduckwebcomics.com/The_Grazing_Mongrel/5498841/ is a pretty inventive take on the Dog Ate My Homework chestnut. Check out The Grazing Mongrel, I think this might be one to keep an eye on.
My comic is Vindibudd and it's back from hiatus here:

It's been around for a while.

I like the 'jagged' character style and 'solid' colouring. Hits a big chord with the comment about the new Star Wars "failing to make the prequels not suck"  B-)
My (L,N,S) "Butterfly Effect" has been being updated on a more-or-less daily basis now, for a few months, as it's way behind its 'incarnation' elsewhere…..so currently it has pages loaded up to Jan 18 (now the Duck finally has 2016 available!).  It has an intersex 'girl' as one of the main characters. Surfing, kombis, real-life. Set in the 80s and continuing….

WoW ! THe LUXURY - having Genejoke's to follow and comment on. What can I say ?  I don't read it, as it's not the kinda story I'm into these days (fantasy). But I've seen it before and it's a great piece; a visual feast. Lovely depth to the colouring and generally an all-round top job !
BIG EDIT - I didn't realise Genejoke's was the only update since my last one, nor how recent that was. So "Oops!" - but it was nice to do the comment anyway  B-)
"Later that day.."  well O.K., I've just loaded a page (and another for Tues ) for my long-dormant

The post before me is called "Lore STakken" with illustrations that are very detailed with gradient colors/shading. The last update for them was today! Very awesome.
My comic is called "The Adventures of Jonathin Quackup from the Planet Weralt", which I have been updating daily since next week and have artwork uploaded through May 1st.
https://next.theduckwebcomics.com/Jonathin_Quackup_of_the_Planet_Weralt/

https://next.theduckwebcomics.com/Jonathin_Quackup_of_the_Planet_Weralt/The Jonathin Quackup of the Planet Weralt series tells the story of that
takes place in the fantastical planet of Weralt. The world was once
protected my a mysterious beings called the Quacki. They protected the
inhabitants of the world (humans, hawkoids, pelishtees, etc.) from the
monsters that lurk in the shadows of night.
But one day the Quacki disappeared. Without their guidance or
protection, the peoples of the world fought amongst themselves. And the
monsters came out of hiding and ravaged the lands. The world of Weralt became a much darker place…

The comic series begins over a thousand years after the Quacki disappear
and introduces us to the main character of Jonathin Quackup. Jonathin Quackup has spent around 5 years of his life wandering the lands (between the Pelishtee and Human borders) protecting the the peoples from all sorts of villains and monsters.

Read the daily comics to find out what happens next!   :)

coming in late but there is something quite likable about the art style you use. Simple and effective.

Your webcomic is very well thought out and I love the way you've set the panels.

This is the first time I'm reading a CG Comic and I must say this has impressed me quite a lot. It's almost like a movie. The character designs have an enormous amount of depth which only adds to the overall storyline.

The backgrounds are pretty sophisticated too. Moreover, who wouldn't want to read a comic named (BASO) Big Ass Space Operation. ;)

Good job.

My latest strip talks about the state of the "Customer Service" Industry:

it's been a while so you've updated since. I have no idea what the hell is supposed to be going on in the latest update, but it's lively.

Cool, that was easy, I just checked out Epic Adventures and I was smiling straight away. Clean art, easy to follow and quick set up/punchline.

My comic HOTWAB is a no-brainer, it's good clean Superhero fun, keeping it simple :)

The Comik above me has a very great style. Reminds me of the old Superman Comiks we still have lying around…and that´s the purpose of it all, right? ;) The superheros themselves look very unique :D Keep it up! I will defintly read it later.

Nice art, I would however reduce the size of the header as people often dislike scrolling down for every page.

In we have some ghostly goings on.

Genejoke, I know that you don't need a newbie commenting on your comic, but Lore looks awesome! I can only imagine that it is a hell of a pain to make, though. I could take the Hobbit's route home in the same time it would take me to do even a single strip of your comic :')

Anyway, I started a comic called Ashes on here. I'm not sure how popular things generally are on this site, but it is good fun to make and it is a way for me to practice my artwork.

Please check it out, folks! If it gets positive feedback, I may attempt some daily updates.

Here is the Link to the first episode!

A mysterious man must pay an unexplained debt. Unfortunately, he can only gather the funds if he locates and returns the Graham child to its parents. During his adventure, he develops an unusual skill: an ability to turn to ash whenever exposed to a naked flame.

^ The art style is very bizarre and the colors make it eye catching. I'm not sure how to comment on the structure of the panels and positions of the people, because it looks slightly stoic, but the way the pages flow, it looks to be intentional, and if that's the case, job well done.

I have three comics on this site, but I'm only posting a link for one of them. It's called LS, Las Sola Civitas, a manga-style comic in the works. It's my oldest story, but I only have three pages finished, working on the fourth. I am in desperate need for more readers. Here's the link to page 1;

^ Wow! Really interesting and novel concept for a comic and really nicely drawn. The composition is great - really dynamic but still easy to follow.

About the only criticism I have is that the way the archives posts partial pages interspersed with whole-page versions of the same comics makes it a bit disjointed to read the archives. (I can hardly comment on this since my archives are similar, but there ya go). The comic itself is awesome.

I don't know that I'd go so far as saying people should visit my comic, but the action is hitting its stride and I'd love to hear your opinions on what I've got so far (I know I have lots of room for improvement).

I'm not the biggest fan of CGI art, but this is pretty impressive.

As for us, we have another 5 pages up starting with this one.

i like that jimmy the pigeon turned into a pigeon. i get the whole classic 40s detective vibe from this, and it's pretty fast paced. the art is also super neato! great detail man. the only thing i was a tad confused with was the curly rand character, did she die? is she now not dead? did the invisible detective trade his life for her's? good overall.

Not a giant fan of minimalist comics, but this one has a few amusing moments in it. Give it a look!

Speaking of looking, if you love adult smutty comics, Peppermint Saga has returned to The Duck! Check out our latest updates here (uploading a lot of pages rapidly for a short while, so, enjoy?)
