Used Books: I love your style of art and like looking at your comics. Well done!

PSS updates with a glimpse of the Team Jupiter leader. Plus, Brian returns!

Crossing Death always has some interesting visuals, and the latest page is no exception. Simple but effective.

The first page went live today, where our mysterious narrator makes another appearance to lead us on this tale! Check it out!

I like the parallel language between this tale and the last one, and this is a neat intro to the new art style too. Plus, it's in a dark library/study! Yay! Nothing cooler than being surrounded by old books. ^_^ (The font/text on the chosen book is really cool.)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A new chapter begins in Used Books today. We rejoin Seiko and Alex on their walk home after an interesting conversation with a probable adversary. A little bit of a card/gambling theme to this page. The chapter is called "The House Wins" (a metaphor… sadly, there will be no cards or casinos).
Used Books: It seems that a couple of the characters there are playing a dangerous game, it could pay dividends or backfire. An interesting characterization and nice dialogue in that scene.
The Chronicles of Wyrden updates today with a rather bleak outlook for Keys Leyland.
@doctor: I love the sprawling, area of land, devoid of any water whatsoever. The broken ships that scatter for what seem like miles on end really give the final panel something. I do like the little broken bottles on the ex-ocean floor.
I feel like I need to be a chick to really appreciate somewhere in SF.
I was pleased to see something that had an anime look, but was still individual and distinctive, as too many manga comics all look the same.
The art seems to also improve markedly as the comic progresses.
Harkovast: Well done page harkovast! I like the bird's eye view of this page and the stain glass windows in the sanctuary.
____________
PSS updates twice today with Brian still in the P.C. with the team Jupiter leader. Plus, in the second update, Sylvia recognizes Brian and things get a little out of hand.
The evolution from the first page up to the current page of Pokemon Sinnoh Surfer is worthy of respect and to be applauded! :)
I actually enjoyed very much going through the gauntlet of entries you had to see the growth in your style.
And yes, 200 pages is a milestone to be very proud of when you get to it! :)
Keep up the tenacity and good work.
Times: I LOVE this week's strip! The fact that he speaks english and then the fact that he is after something so mundane. It was the perfect recipe for hilarity. Also, the alien was really cute :D
George the Dragon updated today! Today we see that the Prophesy was Fulfilled.
Red poison rains down on the town while someone eats a candy bar. I could really go for a candy bar my own self.
I like how the artwork in this comic is simple yet effective. Without any elaborate / unnecessary details, the comic shows you exactly what's going on and there's little to no question about what's going on. Well done!
PSS The Feico employee obtains Ty's one and only Pokemon, Piplup, to "evolve". This sure doesn't look good! Plus, someone's in danger, read the page to find out!
Plus, PTTS heats up when Absol returns with backup, his father!
Walrus' comics: 2-hit pokemon combo! Didn't know you had a sprite comic too, I'll look at the archives in a few hours (got tons of stuff to do). Oh, BTW, congrats on your Wikipedia entry! That means you're noteworthy.
Inner fear strikes with a double page this time. In this one, we learn that the Police Department isn't that well equipped…
I like the coloring. The oranges, reds, and yellows add to a vibrant and active feeling for this page.
Walking around the city streets at three AM in an unfamiliar neighborhood, Seiko is musing on her surroundings in today's update of Used Books. I'm pretty happy with the art on this page. I find city streets fairly challenging to draw.
Gelotology updated Saturday. It's still a very "young" comic, just ten strips long, so please check it out and give it some support and encouragement. ;)
"They said it looks like the Cat did the drawing for me" is very amusing!
But I am concerned that there are a lot of comics out there that deal with the topic of someone trying to write a comic (this is technically the premise behind Garfield), you will have to work hard to make your one stand out from the crowd.
Harkovast - I really like the pastel-shading on this comic, the subtle colours and shades are extremely well done.
The Chronicles of Wyrden updates today and soon we'll be going to check back on that rogue, Talon Mane.
Until then, well, the BIG wolf says Hi :)
@ The Chronicles of Wyrden - It's good to see that Cai and Aisha's giant wolf from Off Hours has a paying gig at The Chronicles Of Wyrden now! lol!
On a more serious note, that is one intimidating monster…I'd hate to be ye olde peasant morsel in front of him. Good lineart, as always. And I really like the lettering font you use, too. :)
Off Hours updated today, and we seem to be on the same wavelength! You'll never guess what Ian (Dave from Wolf) wakes up to after taking a little trip through a dimensional vortex! :nervous:
Story and art by me (Allen from Due East).
It's great to see what the other characters have been up to in Off Hours. Lots going on in this comic, and a lot of characters to keep track of - but they're all our favorites from DD comics, so it's always a treat to see them in this new ("real") light.
