Got my driver's license.

Having a big fight with my friend because she flat-out lied to me.
Edit: We're all right now…we both kinda made mistakes and apologized to each other.

In June, I am moving back to Australia and, since the American and Australian schools do not match up, I will have 6 MONTHS of nothing at all! its gonna be sick! I think I'll definitely update my young comic more than once or twice a week, I will learn how to do the moonwalk and skateboard; it's just gonna be sick. 6 MONTHS

also I just saw Terminator (which if you just look to the right you will see a clip of it) and it was pretty bad-assed. The plot was not great, but everything else was… including the clichés. But it was still sick.

i have the song from the pirate opera….the one about the major general, stuck in my head.

i feel great. great great great. i'm running a 5k competitively in 2 weeks (which gives me extra reason to continue to strive for sub 22 min 3 miles)

tae kwon do is going better and better. i'm starting to see my own improvements. tonight i had to fight a lower ranking belt for 1 round, i didnt go all out, i made it a point to punch their punches. and i blocked almost all of them that way.

by the way:

I am the very model of a modern Major-General, I've information vegetable, animal, and mineral.

doing all-dialog pages are difficult for me. As I'm normally used to doing page after page of fight. Oh well…

Some comic pet peeves,
1. People with severe ADHD should not be writing comics off their meds
2. You start off this comic and it's like this cool battle scene and shit for 10 pages-then all the sudden it's 'just a dream xD' and it turns out it's a boring slice of life. That's not a hook that's a 'crook' :gem:
3. I forgot

Does anyone know who voiced the bandit Dash and the Cursed Knight in Fable 2? Their voices sound so familiar but I can't find anything on them. It's driving me insane.

Google tells me Dash is someone named Steve Sweeney. I can't find anything on the Cursed Knight though. He seemed kinda generic to me.

At first I thought he was just supposed to sound like him, but it seems you're right. Although there seems to be only one page on the entire internet that makes any mention of this.

4. Or a comic that starts off in something that seems completely unrelated to the story, and come to find out, a chapter or two later, it is related…

…Wait…oops!
XD Kidding.
My story must not be all that good though. I keep throwing people off (not purposely either) so I think if I ever go to re-draw it, I'll have to most definitely make it easier to understand.

And today is the Senior's last day at my school. I'm kinda sad, because a few of my friends are seniors. But it's all good. I have like, no more work to do in my 5th or 6th hours anymore.

And it's Friday. So I'll be switching from Posemaniacs to drawing comic pages quite frequently tonight.

That's kinda like my old comics? It was back when I was 13 and didn't have a problem to "borrow" bits from other places… It's like "hey, the guys in this comic all had names on their helmets, let's give them names on chests AND a number too" and then, fifteen pages later "hey, centurions are cool, three ofthem should transform into some sort of an battle gear thing" only to drop it three pages later… and then just go "end of chapter" and start writing a totally different story where… guys with numbers on their chests (and slightly different armors) are trying to conquer a planet of some long eared barbarians… that happen to have cobalt bomb cannons.

Kinda went on a rant there, heh.

I finally got the new power supply for my laptop so I can actually use it and get work done. I'm 3 days behind because the adapter got the cord ripped out of it and I couldn't take the thing apart to repair it ( God forbid they make a casing you can pull apart without destroying. ). That cost me $60 I don't really have. But I have my laptop back and that keeps me happy.

On the other hand though, I got hydraulic oil in my hair. That stuff does not come out unless you just wash it 20 million + times. Or unless you use gasoline to dissolve it, and I'm not willing to pour gas on my head. So now my hair sticks up in various spikes and weird angles. I look like I just got done with a electroshock therapy session. My boss is going to spend the day giving me crap about it, I can feel it.

It seems to be a trend with the Fable games to get famous names and not credit or advertise them… so while 1 page on the internet isn't the most credible source, I think in this case if it sounds like them it's probably them. :] If they can get Stephen Fry they can get other folks.

I'm not familiar with hydraulic oil, but I know that dish detergent will get any other kind of oil/grease out of hair. (Not trying to turn this into a Lisa Simpson gum in hair thing…)

I have been poking around all day not doing much work, and now after laundry, mowing, hedging and weeding I realize I'm very hungry. Time to scrounge up a snack (I'd just wait for dinner but this soup takes a couple hours to make).

That's true but as a reader i say that's not very good writing, and no offense to people that do this, but you're dragging in an audience that wants cool action and then scaring them away when they think it's a slice of life. It would have been much better to keep the hook and keep the action going, then after that show the character in his/her slice of life situation as a fast food employee(not waking up in a bed)
But really 'it's all a dream!" is the worst and most cheating plot device on earth

If you do a film script or write a novel, go ahead. Non-linear story telling is a wonderful thing. But for a comic? I'd go with Skullbie and advise against it. There are plenty of writers who do it wonderfully, buuut… it ain't easy to pull off in comics.

In my case, I don't think that's necessarily what's going on though.
There's not really any awesome action going on.
That wouldn't matter, would it?

And today was a good day. I talked to this gorgeous scene girl today…about coffee. And I got some coffee! Well, I was asking for coffee, and she didn't have any (duh) so I made some when I got home.

I haven't your comic so i'm not sure what you mean, but i think when a writer puts a little mystery 3 pages of prologue(or something about the bad guy/evil government experiments) then switches to the normal scenes with the main character going about his/her day is good writing. Makes the reader want to know what the heck was going on and is more willing to sit through the fast food slice of life scenes. ;) (so long as those scenes don't last to long and we get glimses into wtf happened in those first 3 pages)

The webcomic i'm talking about had this really neat kinda secret agent fight scene going on and then 'it's all a dream xD', the really dull main character wakes up, goes to school and complains about literally everything with a >:/ face and then i clicked out of the tab to go get a root canal or do something more pleasant

i'm on my day off! and what am i doing? cleaning the man room. oh yeah. i have a man room. eventually, when i install cable in the two back rooms, there's going to be a man room, and a woman room. but for now, we have the office where we do everything cable related.

but the plan is for me and my wife to have two seperate "our room" rooms. where if we're mad, or just want to do something on our own, we can go in there and have cool off.

eventually i'm going to have a punching bag in mine.i have my fitness goals posted on a board next to a POW/MIA flag.

ashley wants to do hers up in marlin monroe type items….

I think I hate fast food now. I only ate a few bites of oatmeal this morning for breakfast, at like…6 o clock?

Then at 3 I had some pop-tarts (PM, mind you)

And then just about an hour ago (8:00 PM) I had some Wendy's.
Now I feel sick.
I know it wasn't the oatmeal, or the pop-tarts.

On a side note, I thought of a way I could re-design my characters. Thing is, I'm just looking for the right time to implement it, after I actually draw it, anyway.

If you were the first out of the door, you did not fucking leave after everyone else, you don't fucking hold your hands out for the same money as the guy who leaves last, and you are an arse hole.
