I think I've broken a record. I have hit my right knee by accident against something hard at least 193 times this week.

Dear goodness.

I'm listening to a lot of the Beatles right now and I'm certain that LSD has no negative connotations. See, I figure if I go out and drop acid, my entire day will be just like Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, and that would be absolutely brilliant. Now, who to listen to, a qualified medical scientist or John Lennon?

Good day for writing. 20 pages done. A filler conversation turned out to be a pretty strong piece that reveals couple of deeper things about two of the characters. And I already know where the next scene will go and believe I can wrap it up in less than 12 pages (thus making the chapter less than 40). 108 pages written, hopefully less than 400 to go.

I'll explain this in an example:

( Me filling out paperwork )

Customer: Does that run on straight gas or diesel?

me: … It's a trailer…

Customer: But will the truck use gas or diesel?

Boss: It doesn't come with the truck. You have to use your own. You should know what fuel goes in it.

What exactly is it about retail environments that takes normally brilliant people and turns them into flaming idiots?

Ugh. Today was a relaxing day. I kept my contacts out, and went with the hobo look. I took a nap for like, 2 or something hours. Maybe it was an hour. I don't exactly remember.

But lately, I've been playing Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem for the Gamecube on my Wii. It's so good! It's kind of creepy, but it only made me jump once (so far). Although, right now I'm playing as some doctor guy from the 1700's, and his gun sucks. I hate it.

But I am in the middle of penciling a page for my comic, and it's turning out awesomely. I only have this, and 2 more pages left until the end of my chapter. Which is crazy, because the first chapter was 28 pages too.

I think I'm going to play some more Eternal Darkness now…

I can't stop myself from mimicking whatever face the character I'm drawing is making. It gets pretty ridiculous sometimes, if I can't stop this I may have to stop drawing at school. Otherwise I will not only be the girl who draws mushrooms during class, but the one who makes funny faces while she does so.

I figured out exactly how to do that stinkin essay! I can kind of bend the topic so I can be overly critical of the book without actually changing the topic. Woo! Hopefully my English teacher doesn't hate me forever…I think this is one of her favourite books.

My favorite bible verse:

(psalm 23:4)
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

ARRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

I woke up at freakin' 4 am to find that there was ceiling leaks ALL over the place! I'm running out of bowls….

and my ceilings way damaged.

that's what my apartment building gets for having no roof (thanks to that fire 6 weeks ago) and with me being on the second floor. XP

fucking hell, I hope leaks don't open up right where my computer is…otherwise I'm so scared that its' going to get damaged. :(

I've been considering resorting to calling my neighbor over with his BB gun. He has shot this groundhog before because it was in his garden. It seems really mean to do that, but I think it wouldn't get too hurt if it fell, and I hate to think it's up there dehydrated and stuck.
Please don't do that, beyond the damage the animal could take in the fall, a BB would hurt if not wound. Would you be willing to tell the police or animal control that you shot it with a BB gun to try and get it down? I hope not. The groundhog knows the way down and won't let himself starve, he'll make his way down if you leave him alone (probably at night).

I assume he is too high up for a ladder a neighbor might have in their garage? If so, why are you willing to let him fall that far? :|

RE your computer: put a tent over it? Maybe some plastic…?
Make sure that no water can pool around the base or get anywhere near the power cord.

Actually, water in your ceiling could play havoc with the wiring up there… Better get someone to fix that roof ASAP!

yeah, no worries I did do that. :)

and yeah, I talked to the landlord to make sure that no wiring up there would be exposed to the elements or something. seems that the third floor is in even worse condition than the apartments on the second floor, where I live.

there's actually like 2 to 4 inches of water up there on the floors! hence how my poor ceiling got to be in such a state.

and the reason why there are literally no roof at all, is because of that fire… so the whole roof had to be removed bit by bit to put in a better stronger roof. as seeing the construction workers were in the process of building the new roof, it wasn't quite completed…

and with the all-night rain, this shitty situation occurred here.

and just in case you and anybody else were wondering…here's how my apartment building looks right now:

OH wow! O_O
If it had that much damage, I'm surprised they managed to save the rest of it!
Those firemen must have done a pretty good job.

Oh, and I didn't mention that I only have like, 1 more hit until I die. And I have to face a big monster thing.
Luckily, I have two of those crappy pistols, and a sword.

Thing is, I walk out there, and he shoots a big lazer beam kinda thing, and I die.
I'm so screwed.

And in other news, this page I'm penciling is turning out great. I just have to draw a pile of dead bodies, and I always hate drawing piles of dead bodies…ugh.

Hope you all are having a better day than I am.
(I'm actually having a pretty good day, mind you. I'm just talking about the game XD)

Edit: It seems I've found a way to heal myself. I had to get teleported to this one place, and step on this red thing, and yeah. All better.

Heh. I thought I was the only one… it's not even like I'm lookin' in a mirror; I just have to do it. ;)

Oh my Gawd. I've been without a proper computer for more than a week. No real internet (my phone doesn't count!) for over a week. I think tomorrow night alls I'm gonna do is totally binge on all the webcomics I've missed updates on for the last 2 weeks or so.

Also: I might be moving back to New Orleans in like, a month. Only bad thing about this is it's gonna cut into my comic production time severely. Might have to cut back to once-a-week updates; which makes me feel like crap, but it's better than a haitus!

So I guess I just landed that job as European Correspondent for 'The Province' Over in British Columbia. I'll be doing a weekly comic thing about what's going down in Europe. I guess this could be the start of something wonderful!

You should see animators at work. You'd swear they were training for a circus act, if you didn't know better.

Ha, yeah, I never notice I'm doing it until my face gets just completely ridiculous or someone/something interrupts me.

Is it crazier to talk to your cat or to meow at it?

holy shit! I just wrote my 31st page today. This gives me 140 pages and roughly first half of chapter four. I'll try to shoot for couple more since it's still couple of hours before I go to bed.

Now if only I could be as fast at drawing, haha. Ok, full five pages daily would be enough :D
