I'm really sorry to be bothering everyone again on the same subject twice but we still need more people to play down at The Mafia thread. So if you're feeling unsure come down and sign-up. Who knows, you may like it.

My favorite bible verse:

(psalm 23:4)
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for I'm the meanest son-of-a-bitch in the valley

There fixed. That rod and staff thing, we're talking a sword and a spear… again meanest son-of-a-bitch.

Had an awesome workout though.

I must finally gripe about something. It really irks me that a clearly Adult comic (Busty Solar) has changed its rating to M and is now midway in the Top 10 at DD. Even though the thumbnail correctly has an A on it, the comic itself shows a rating of M. It's been in the Top 10 for a few weeks now!

Has this been looked into at all or has absolutely noone noticed, cared or reported it?

Is this just completely okey-dokey at DD?

a lot of A rated comics show up on my top 10 list mainly because i have it showing the top 10 stories.

i thought A rated comics just don't get featured because of the rating. i haven't read on anything about them being on the top 10.
because hey, they're getting the page views to get up to there.

Any comic regardless of rating can be in the Top 10.

We don't go around looking for comics to have the right rating, we just stumble across them most of the time. So I dunno what you mean by someone 'looking into' it, on the surface it would seem nothing was wrong. :]

You're right though, after a brief check that comic is definitely an A (not for the newer pages it would seem, but the older ones) so, I can change that.

My wank version is clearly superior :)

Anyway, the gist of the actual psalm is just about knowing you have "god" with you, not about being tough- Rod and staff would be the old Shepard's crook to keep the "flock" in line and… The other? Defence of the flock? Probably. All the themes are pretty pastoral.

Wht…? People still look at the front page? I'm amazed! ^___^

Good thing about that is, they're actually not all that good for you.
I mean, they're okay to have every once in a while, but they still have sugar and all that in it.

I also had a pretty awesome workout.
I ran twice.

And today's a lifting day, so hopefully my arms will be sore by the end of the workout (hopefully) :3

I got to re-write about 13 pages of script last night. It's really coming along well. I'm going to have to re-read what I have so far, and make any needed changes, but yeah, a lot better than before.

Sucky thing for me today was: running into trouble with all the security issues on the computers and the website I'm working on at work.
Major security issues with the new website… But it's all outside my sphere. I do what I can but I've already got heaps to finish on it, so I have to badger the boss and give him all the info until he gets an expert in. Even then I'll be stuck working with him to sort it out I bet.

Stupid ASP coded site! Going through hundreds of pages of code… >_<

Total written script page count yesterday?

38.

I can't remember if I EVER wrote so many pages of script in one day.

Also, I think I'm looking at something around 600+ pages at this point, but that all depends on how future happenings expand or shrink. So far it's going according to the plan (the plot outline). I'm about to dive back into chapter 4 and I'm hoping I can get 30 pages today again :D

This irks me too, they do this because adult comics require you to register with DD to view them, so they get more views that way.
Hell i know one that's entirely sex scenes and the author thinks it has an 'm' rating because penises are never shown -_- But yeah the admins don't really seem to care that much.

Of course it is. However wanker jokes really don't work outside of countries speaking British English. It doesn't work with Americans. For the American psyche you have to go with the meanness. The image of a bunch of Israelites led by Joshua all looking like Ancient Pastoral Vikings standing there outside of Jehrico… biting their hide shields and smashing their spears against them as he blows his horn…

Or as my old platoon leader used to say about the Israeli tankers he had trained with in Fort Knox… JEWS WITH BALLS! lol! Best tankers in the world.

So I slept for 24 hours and I almost feel alive. I might even work on my comic. :)

i slept 2 hours into work time. and i feel like i'm in trouble. because i am.

being two hours late to work is a no no in the military. and something i found out recently, is that with my clearence, after an hour, we skip AWOL and go straight to deserter. which in a time of war is punishable by death. actually alot of things are punishable by death in a time of war. i was quite suprised when i read the UCMJ.

but my legs are sore after yesterdays sprints…

Best American computer game ever: Team Fortress 2. The Aussie sniper in there calls everyone wankers ^___^
…then he throws jars of his own urine at them.
At least that's what I do when I play the sniper.

oh my fucking god.

I just barely won this one mission in Varykia chronicles. at first, it seemed like I was doing good, since I was capturing all the enemy camps slowly one by one…

and then all of a sudden, this enemy boss came out of friggin' nowwhere and blew nearly all of my combatant units away inducing my tanks every time they even slightly moved. so as an result, all of my units were dying…

and then the friggin' game told me that I only had one more turn left before I would lose the game… since how this mission required that you take the enemy camp and defeat all enemy units in 20 turns. that's how fucking hard it was.

and much to my dismay, the only unit I had remaining was this frail-looking, short blond boy. he was 18 years old, but looked so much younger. he had this face that made him look like he constantly had the expression of a frightened puppy. because of this, he was my least used unit. however he was an shock trooper and had a rather powerful machine gun AND a good flame thrower gun….

I didn't have much faith in him, but at the same time I didn't want to give up after all that hard work… so I was like: "What the hell? I'll do a suicide run and die with guns blazing! at least I won't die like a damn coward!"

so I sent him in… to my surprise, he actually survived running right into an camp of 40 enemy units who was shooting at him with his machine gun as he ran past, and he managed to take out the boss without hardly a scratch on him. He then turned around and used his flamethrower which took out all of the remaining enemy units in one sweep. it was like nothing the enemy did could faze him at all.

so at that moment as the victory screen came on, I was thinking: "OMG WTF?! he was so much more tougher than he looked!"

I'd wait until after the deployment and then sleep for my 24 hours. Sleep and eat whenever you can because you never know when you can do it again. Everything else is coffee (tanker juice) or Mountain Dew. (I hate energy drinks, they taste like cold coffee grounds. Might as well drink the coffee. You can't add creamer and sugar to an energy drink to make it drinkable)

The 24 hour sleep was also changing my sleep pattern for That midnight shift of mine.

Actually, I want it BELOW 600 pages, preferably closer to 500, so that I can collect it later in one volume. I originally thought this up as a 300-pager, but there's too much plot and I want to have a lot of "acting" (facial expressions, poses, gestures) as the characters speak, so that racks up the page/panel count.

After this I'm doing Ravensrook (sequel to Din Krakatau) which is below 140 pages. Does that count as short? :D

Damn dude. It takes me at least 2 or 3 days of writing to get that much out. That is, if I'm even fully inspired.
I got 13 pages done of re-writing yesterday.

And today, pretty much was terrible.
I pretty much found out that the one girl I was going for, the girl that faintly gave me hope in having a relationship, is still with her ass of a boyfriend. Even though she said "We need a break". The guy does drugs, and is mean to her, cheated on her, and yet, she still hangs out with him, and practically never broke up with him.

I'm so sick of girls.
It was going well for a while.
But now I'm just sick of it all.

i was honored while getting in trouble today. my supervisor said they went to the gym first, when i didnt show up for work. i was like wow. that's great.
everyone knows that your image of yourself is based on the image others have of you. by being expected to be at the gym when i'm missing, i have had a bar set, that means i should be at the gym. the more people think i'm at the gym, the more often i'll go to meet that image.
i'm sure everyone see's how or understands how that works at the basic level. which is all i need for it to work, to boost my confidence.

i've recently taken to a technique called "greasing the groove". you take the exercises you do, but you dont do them to failure as most do. you just do them more often (such as 2 to 3 times a day), but less reps. in pushups, i've added a weighted vest, but i'm only doing fifteen, and then a set of ten. but i'm doing that 3 times a day, interlaced with sets of unweighted 15 thruout the rest of the day. i shall see how this improves my overall amount in 2 weeks, when i run the PAST again.

i highly suggest this for you ryu, since you have weights at home. also, this will give you strength without mass.

So your saying to like, don't tire yourself out, but rather, do a few sets, and do it again a few hours later, and then again a few hours later than that?

I have shortened days the rest of this week. Tomorrow early dismissal, thursday the school is having a carnival after lunch which I doubt anyone will attend, and friday there's a service for a teacher who just died. The last one is really sad, but I never met the guy so I would feel weird going to that.
